Hello, everyone! Hastur here, and it's great to connect with you all again. I've got some exciting updates to share, so let us dive in with the good news, and trust me, there is plenty of it!

First off, we are approaching the end of Volume 1 in just three more chapters. This is where things get wild, the cult's begin's, and the intense yandere dynamics truly take center stage. Buckle up, because the story is about to shift into overdrive!

I would also like to take a moment to ask for your support on Patreon. I am currently saving up to commission official artwork for the series, but as many of you know, talented artists come with a hefty price tag these days.

I am also in the process of registering this book and securing legal copyright before the year ends, which will establish my own IP for the series. I've looked into the process, and it is fairly straightforward. If all goes as planned, you'll soon see this story on platforms like Royal Road and Amazon KDP.

That said, a great series thrives on a passionate fanbase. I would also love for you to drop reviews, honest ones, please! I've got some experience under my belt, but there is always room to grow, and your feedback means the world. 

I know the grammar can be rough in places, and I'll be real with you. Between working a regular 8-to-5 job and pouring my heart into writing, I don't always have time to proofread or edit as thoroughly as I'd like. 

I'm just a normal guy juggling life like many of you, but I am committed to making this story the best it can be.

Now, let us get to the heart of this author's note. As you've probably noticed, I've posted a poll with different smut options. Every now and then, I'll give you all the chance to influence the story's direction, but most of the time, I'll be steering the romance and spicier moments based on the vision I have for the series. 

I know some of the options might seem intense, and if that is not your cup of tea, I completely understand. This might be a good time to step away if darker themes aren't for you I would rather not waste your time or leave you feeling uncomfortable.

For that reason, let me break down the core of Nier's character for you. He is a former human evolving into something greater, a higher being, shaped by his connection to Kaly, an eldritch abomination who views humanity and mortals as little more than tools in the grand scheme. 

Think about it: would you treat a bacteria with the same care, respect, or love you would usually give to a close friend or family member? 

Probably not, right? I wouldn't either. That is the mindset here. Nier's heart is slowly drifting away from his human roots, embracing a more godlike nature. In plain terms, he is the villain of this story. And as a harem protagonist, his focus is on the women around him, other male characters are largely irrelevant, existing only as means to an end.

What I am getting at is this: the story's about to take a dark turn. Nier will make questionable choices, even hurting those who show him kindness as a human. Official source is novel⚑fire.net

Why? Because Kaly comes first, and to him, everyone else is a stepping stone to his goals, with the added bonus of drawing more powerful women to his side. It is a brutal, messy journey, and I am not going shying away from that.

To make the story great, I will write what I want to write regardless of other opinions.
