Omnipotent Husband System
Chapter 512: Encounter.
CHAPTER 512: ENCOUNTER.
Hao Ren had reached the realm of a saint in his sword path. Although the system didn’t tell him how far ahead he needed to go, but he knew that the path was anything but over. He handed the spear to the city lord and then he walked to the city square.
The elders and the lady were a little shocked when they scrutinized the spear before them. This weapon was anything but simple. It was one of the highest rank weapons they have seen and within a moment they agreed to leave this weapon in the storage and only use it when they are facing overwhelming odds.
This was a small city but after looking at the stele before him, Hao Ren found that in the immortal world talent could be found anywhere. The stele had a flood dragon carved around the edges. The young man took out his sword, the entire city had come to watch him.
Hao Ren was about to attack when he stopped and cast a barrier around him. Then his sword intent began to cause a ripple inside the barrier before it lashed onto the stele as he moved his blade. The impact left deep sword marks all over the stele. It appeared as if they didn’t have any pattern.
However, when Hao Ren was finished carving the attacks on the stele he used the same intent to carve a few characters under the stele, naming the sword art, Primal Sword Art. After half an hour, Hao Ren stepped back and he saw that the people were watching the situation unfold in a daze.
The young man stepped out of the barrier and said, "I will now undo the barrier. As long as someone doesn’t wish to attack the stele or perceive the art I have inscribed, they will be fine and would be able to work normally. However, those who try to look deep into things, they will have to go through the trial."
The City Lord and the elders nodded before Hao Ren said, "That’s about it, I will be on my way now. Where is my horse?"
The elder quickly said, "It is being looked after inside the stables. We shall lead you over their."
Hao Ren nodded and followed their lead. However, the people were all silent and they walked half a step behind him as they went. The gap in their status was too much. Hao Ren was a Forging Grandmaster and his realm appeared indiscernible to them. Another thing that kept them silent was his bluntness, they were afraid if they offended the man who killed the Flood Dragon like a normal worm between his fingers.
Hao Ren got up on the back of his horse and after nodding the people, he left the city without turning back. The elders finally let out the sigh of relief, and the City Lord said, "I am telling you old bones, never, never develop any ideas around that stele."
The elders looked at her and the City Lord said, "That man was not a simple World Lord, his sword was not simple as well."
...
Hao Ren rode the horse slowly, but the trotting beast covered a few dozen meters while walking ahead. How, because Hao Ren had given the horse a crash course in Earth Squeezing technique. His horse could now put the other horse breeds in the wild at shame. Unless he met a spiritual beast.
The journey was calm and uneventful, until one day, he reached a broken temple and the young man found a few people camping in the ruins. He hopped down from the horse and said, "Fellow Daoists, if you don’t mind, may I rest here for the night?"
One of the five people was an old man who looked at Hao Ren and smiled benevolently, "You may, but please don’t bother us."
Hao Ren gave the man an okay gesture and went to sit down on the side. He picked up some fallen branches and put them together as he looked around once more before snapping his finger and causing the wood to lit up with flames. The young man took a deep breath and leaned back against the crumbled wall, and picked up a leaf from the ground.
He didn’t even bother of the look at the other side of the temple ground where the five people were sitting around fire as they communicated with each other using spiritual sense.
Hao Ren made a hole in the leaf and brought it to his lips. Just when he was about to blow through it, one of the five people stood up and asked, "You should leave."
Hao Ren turned to look at the man and asked, "What happened?"
The person replied, "Your stink, annoys me."
Hao Ren frowned and he took a sniff of his under arms, as he said, "You do know that cultivators can clean themselves with just a circulation of spiritual energy, right? Why are you making things difficult for me when I carefully asked you all about resting here first? You could have told me to leave the first time around."
The person looked at Hao Ren and replied, "I didn’t say that you are welcome here. Now fuck off."
The next moment, Hao Ren lowered the leaf from his lip and flicked it toward the man. The person could not even react when the leave was already touching the brow of his forehead. A small drop of blood began to gather around the spot where the leaf was touching the forehead, and Hao Ren asked, "So, do you want me to continue or would you like to go back and keep minding your business?"
The man gulped and all the four people were the same. They realized that Hao Ren was not a simple man. The man replied, "I will go back to mind my business."
Hao Ren called the leaf back, and then he looked at the man as he said, "I can still sense some discontent in your gaze. How about I gauge your eyes out and then make you understand the difference between our strengths? I gave you face when I asked your consent to rest in this place that is free to everyone. Why are you so intent on courting death?"
