CHAPTER 517: HOME COMING.

Hao Ren finished handing over the puppet and Fudge graciously allowed him to go inside the vault and then inspect the puppet. The young man wasn’t shy, he used his eyes of insight to detect and decode the secrets earlier, and he had found out exactly how to unbound the hanfu of the puppet.

The young man took a deep breath and made a few hand seals. He closed his eyes and concentrated his spiritual energy inside his throat before he let out a few obscure sound notes, "Mo! Hu! Ta! De! Yu! Ca! Ih!"

The sound created ripples in the void and these ripples hit the fabric before a few golden chains manifested around the dress. The chains shivered and Hao Ren said, "Release!"

The lock that held all the chains together shivered and with an audible click it unlocked and fell down. The young man let out a sigh, and he looked around at Fudge who was standing in utter disbelief. He had been guarding this mannequin for over three hundred years, and he never once realised that it hid something like this.

Hao Ren sensed that Fudge was looking at him with doubt and he said, "The Hanfu on the puppet’s body is not just for the illusions. The micro arrays hidden inside are all encompassing. They perform tasks like defense, would you believe the fact that they can block several strikes from a full fledged Heavenly General?"

Fudge opened his eyes wide and Hao Ren continued, "The array I activated just now was to release the bond of this puppet and the clothing. The puppet I made is the same in dimension and appearance. So the people who already know what this puppet looks like won’t be able to tell the difference. Also, I am only interested in the puppet."

Fudge calmed down and he smiled as he said, "Grandmaster Hao, you are a man of your word. You have my respect."

Hao Ren smiled and bowed slightly as he went forward to undress the puppet before carefully putting the clothes over the newly made puppet and then he used the same series of sounds in the reverse order to initiate the bond. However, while doing all this he didn’t store the old puppet.

He let it stand in plain sight to cull all the doubts that Fudge was having at the moment. He was sure that if he stored the puppet quickly it would cause the old Council Head to come after him and start a hunt.

The trade was secure and the Council Head insisted on holding a banquet for Hao Ren. The young man declined the whole thing, because there were two things that he had to do on urgent basis.

One was to return home and go out to find the natural heavenly treasure that would help him and Han Lingshi conceive a baby of their own, and second was to comprehend the technique engraved on the puppet he stuffed in his space ring. Hao Ren left the Iron Star Island just as quickly as he had come.

None of the people even got the time to notice his presence before he was gone. Fudge had done a good job of concealing everything in the city. Hao Ren was a gust of wind that didn’t make much difference in the city apart from the fact that the rare treasure left behind by the Forging Saint Tang Zhen was back on display after a couple of decades, and many experts, young and old came out to observe it and perceive the mystery hidden in the treasure.

Yes, initially the city had no idea that the treasure on display was a fake, but Council Head Fudge came forward and owned up to his mistake. The people all scolded him a bit but then they all agreed with the situation. After all, refining a relic was not easy.

Hao Ren walked out of the city and at the gates, he took out his sword and stepped inside the void portal as he headed back home.

Han Lingshi didn’t find anything good to do in the Cauldron Valley and so she had moved back to Crescent Moon Empire and was cultivating steadily. The situation of the empire was good, and development was rapid. Even the experts that had defected from the Spirit Siphon Continent were impressed by the quality of life here.

Hao Ren came through the teleportation array and he raised his brows. There were many guards posted there. They all turned to look at him and were about to raise their weapons when a calm voice sounded, "Young Master, you finally decided to come back home."

Ye Peng walked over and bowed his head. Hao Ren looked at him and asked, "Peng, what the fuck is going on with this arrangement?"

Ye Peng replied with a smile, "Well, the secret zone was shifted, and this array formation is a crucial point so we decided to post guards all over the place."

Hao Ren looked at the guards and replied, "Hmmm, they are good. Who trained, Ye Kang?"

Ye Peng nodded and replied, "Yes, he volunteered."

Hao Ren hummed and said, "Well, I have to go and study something crucial. Also, punk, you owe me wine, I heard you got married. Big Brother will get you some gift."

Ye Peng smiled and said, "Yes, I will get you some wine, but only after you officiate my marriage."

Hao Ren was surprised and he smirked as he said, "Fucker, you waited all this while to rob me of goods, I thought only San would do that to me."

As soon as he said they both sensed an aura coming towards them, Hao Ren said, "Speak of the devil and the devil appears."

A figure landed before him and then replied, "Big Brother, you are talking bad about me behind my back? I will tell Big Sister Mei."

Hao Ren chuckled as he looked at the beautiful young lady and said, "Ye San, you have learned to rebel against big brother, argh, I miss my little tail."

The three of them looked at each other and then laughed out loud.
