Han Lingshi nodded and then the two of them tried to fly up but they found that the place was restricted. Hao Ren turned to look around and said, "There, that hill can serve the purpose."

After a couple of hours they stood at a place inside the valley where they found a small pond, but the surroundings were still warm. Hao Ren ran his gaze around the place and he frowned, Han Lingshi said, "Yeah, the land is brimming with vitality, but seems to be barren. Can you guess a reason?"

Hao Ren thought for a bit and said, "Yes, actually, I can. It is because the vitality of the land is being redirected to some other place."

Han Lingshi nodded and after a few moments she said, "This thing is rather clever."

Hao Ren smiled, they both were using their special pupil skills to check through the surroundings and now they were all gazing at the pond of water before them. They tracked the flow of energy moving from the surroundings to the depths of the pond. The young man asked, "What do you think we should do? How to approach this?"

Han Lingshi shrugged and asked, "How about we dive in?"

Hao Ren shook his head and denied. He reasoned, "If it was that easy to catch this thing, then someone else would have done that already. It has been hiding for several hundred years now. I am sure it has some tricks up its sleeves."

Hao Ren froze in his tracks as he also noticed this. He frowned and used his Eyes of Insight on the surroundings before he sighed and said, "Well, this expert was rather tricky. He left behind a lot of things and one of them is a world level illusion array, and we must have stepped inside one when we arrived here."

Han Lingshi's face darkened when she heard this before asking, "How do we get out of this place?"

Hao Ren thought for a bit and replied, "Only by breaking this array forcefully. I have located the nodes, we need to destroy one of the main nodes to find an opening."

Hao Ren nodded and left the place with a smile on his face. He jumped down and Han Lingshi began to dismantle the formation he had set up earlier. Hao Ren's eyes turned cold and he looked at the man who spoke just now, and then he began to laugh, loudly. The valley was echoing with his voice, as he was about to hunt.
