CHAPTER 523: HUMILIATION.

Hao Ren heard the three men asking for ransom, he was fine, but when he was about to reason with them, these men moved their lecherous gazes towards the one person they should have left alone in the whole world.

This triggered Hao Ren’s rage. He laughed loudly before he looked at the people and asked, "You want my wife?"

The three men furrowed their brows, they didn’t like his attitude. They had planned to have fun with Han Lingshi and beat up Hao Ren. Although, they were told not to kill excessively, they could still have some fun.

One of the men said, "Are you trying to act mysterious? Or are you trying to buy time."

Hao Ren shook his head and replied, "No, I don’t need to."

He waved his hand and flame snake appeared. It directly created a boundary around the three men, and they could feel that the temperature of this flame was really high as they all broke into sweat. Hao Ren walked inside the flame boundary and then he flickered to appear right next to the three men.

He clenched his fist and landed a blow directly into the guts of one man. His speed and force was so much that the latter could not react before his abdomen sank because of the punch. The man keeled over and coughed up a mouthful of blood. Hao Ren has broken his ribs.

Before the other two of them could react, a strong sword intent assaulted the two of them and caused them to flinch and Hao Ren delivered strong punches on the backs of their heads. He made sure not to kill them but he made them faint and fall to the ground hitting their faces directly.

The flames were a distraction and the sword intent was to intimidate them. After he immobilized them completely, he just stood their watching them. In his mind, he was cursing the system for setting up the no bloodshed rule. He hated these kind of men the most and thought that they all deserved to die.

*You ought to learn how you channel your emotions. They committed a crime by doing this, however, you must understand that you are trying to become a father and have children of your own. The deeds you do are passed down to your descendants. Do you wish to see your children born with a stained karma?*

Hao Ren frowned and he clicked his tongue, at this moment, Han Lingshi called for him, "Ren, dispel the flame boundary, do you wish to set the world on fire?"

The young man sighed and waved his hand to retract all the flames in the surroundings, and Han Lingshi came over, she sighed and said, "You have no idea how relieved I am at the moment. Had you killed them, we would not have any evidence of why we did that."

Hao Ren shook his head and replied, "I am not a fool, but I wish to see them go away, how to do that, you tell me. If I see them again, I will kill them."

Han Lingshi smiled and said, "Isn’t that easy? You can send them away by breaking the jade plate they are carrying on their person. Kuman gave us the same plates before coming in."

Hao Ren recalled how after the blood sacrifice the chief stuffed the two jade plates in their hands. The special thing about these things was that they could not be stored inside the space rings. Hao Ren searched the fainted people and then he crushed their jade plates, sure enough, after a bit they were taken out of the small world.

Han Lingshi clapped and said, "Now that is all done, how about we try to locate the region with extreme balance?"

Hao Ren nodded and then the search began once more.

...

Outside the small world, the chieftains were having tea as they sat on small rocks and waited for the people to come out of the realm.

Chief Gurung asked, "So, who do you think will gain the most this time around?"

The question was the crux of the situation. The exploration event as akin to an unrecognized tournament that decided the standing of the clans. Although it didn’t effect them much, as they often had outsiders coming in to use their slots, it was just a statement of how they had connections with strong warriors.

The strongest clans in the northern wilderness, was the Kumao Clans, and they had several world stage experts among them. However, one of the most defining traits they had was the bravery they have shown when it came to fighting the tough circumstances. The Kumao clan had travelers who wielded their blades to defend justice in far lands. They never hesitated to face anything that may come their way.

Gurung’s question was directed towards the leader of the Kumao Clan, Hampta, because he was the second strongest among the chiefs and wanted to use this exploration to surpass the Kumao Clan.

Hampta looked at Gurung and asked, "Are you asking this question because you have found external helpers to counter my clansmen?"

Gurung smiled and shook his head, he asked, "Brother Hampta, you are misunderstanding the intent of my question. I am only asking because I don’t wish to see that Kumal and his clan end in bottom like always."

Kumal raised his head to look at Gurung and said, "Whether I stay at the bottom or not, I have never forsaken my honor and belief for a standing like a certain someone, so Chief Gurung, I would be happy if you paid me no concern and looked after yourself a little more."

His reply made the people smile faintly but Gurung frowned and said, "If only your blade was as sharp as your tongue."

Kuman took out the knife from the back of his waist and he said, "Would you like to try if my blade is sharp or not?"

Kuman didn’t give off the fiery vibe, but everyone among the tribes knew that he was not to be messed with unless it was a dire need. Gurung hated Kuman because the latter didn’t hesitate to give up his bright future for his weak clan. This was something that got on his nerves.

However, he was definitely the cautious one so he didn’t push it too much, because Kuman would protect his own people even at the cost of his life if he had too. Just as they were talking, suddenly a small portal opened up in the distance and three figures were flung out. The chiefs reacted quickly, they confirmed that the three people were not from their clans and they calmed down, but then they noticed that Gurung and one of his friends had a twisted expression.

Kuman asked, "I was wondering whose clan did these people belonged to, it turns out to be you, Chief Gurung. I apologize for this bad luck."

Gurung clenched his fists and turned to look at Kuman as he said, "Don’t you worry, Kuman, those two people you invited should be coming out soon as well."

Kuman smiled silently, but he didn’t say anything else. After a few minutes, when they managed to awaken the fallen experts, the people recounted what happened. However, in their story, Hao Ren and Han Lingshi were excluded, instead the man in the lead stated that they met a beast that caused them to leave the place.

Gurung clicked his tongue and replied, "Waste of time."

The experts on the ground wanted to ask for Gurung to return compensation they have given for the slots but they knew that Gurung would not do so and might even fight them over it.

Gurung turned around to look at the rest of the people and said, "Since my clan has been left out of the race, I will be taking your leave."

That said, he directly vanished from the place. The rest of the chiefs shook their heads and Hampta looked at Kuman and asked, "I heard that you sold the slots this time, what is going on?"

Kuman shook his head and replied, "I didn’t sale the slots, but only gave them away to the two people who saved the children of the clan sometime ago. They had been searching for some sort of herb that can only be found inside the Gurkha Realm. So, since I didn’t have a suitable candidate this time, and I was indebted to them, I thought why not?"

Hampta nodded and said, "Earlier when I saw that young man, I was surprised but I could not detect even the slightest of spiritual fluctuation radiating from their bodies. I wanted to ask you about them right then but I understood that it was not the right time."

Kuman smiled and replied, "You should wait for a little more then. Although Gurung has left, his friends are still present, Old Hampta."

The man looked around and found that it was indeed as Kuman said, he smiled and said, "Fine, we should talk about this after things here are settled."
