CHAPTER 525: PREPARATIONS.

Hao Ren and Han Lingshi came out of the small world and the people were surprised by this. Kuman stood up and rushed over to their side, and asked, "Senior’s are you both alright?"

Hao Ren smiled and replied, "Yes, we are alright. We found what we were looking for and a little extra something as well. So, we decided to come back and not waste time."

Kuman found it logical that someone who found what they were seeking and decided to come back but he was also a bit disappointed. If Hao Ren and Han Lingshi had stayed inside the small world, they would have gathered more treasures and this way they would have gotten some fame to his clan. However, he didn’t wish to say anything.

Hao Ren smiled, he could read the expressions on his face with ease. He took out the Khukhri he found inside the small world and gave it to Kuman. The latter was shocked, he saw the blade and could sense profound fluctuations coming from it. Hao Ren said, "I found this inside, and I am sure that you will find a better use for this."

Kuman shivered, how could he not understand the significance of this situation. The legendary Khukhri with a red hilt and a black blade was something everyone worshiped in the tribal clans. They had tried to reproduce the same type of blade many times before they eventually gave up. They have come to understand that this blade was made with a special material that fell from the outer space. As for the redness of the hilt, that came from the wood being soaked in blood for many years.

Hao Ren said, "This is the same blade that you had painted in your hall. Take it, there is a cultivation technique and the records of the owner embedded within it. I have no use of them, you take it. To ensure that your clan is safe, you should share it with a couple of strong elders and try to merge your clans. That way things would be safe."

Kuman understood the meaning behind this statement. No matter how strong he was, he won’t be able to face off against all the clans. If he wanted to survive the aftermath of this whole thing, he had to merge his clan with someone strong and worthy. Only one name echoed in his brain, and that was Hampta. However, how that situation would work out, that’s a different situation.

Han Lingshi sensed his unease, and said, "If you are hesitant of losing your authenticity, you can come to Spirit Shimmer Continent, I will give you a place in the coldest lands of the Crescent Moon Empire. Your clan would be given a special status in the nation. We will not intervene in your matters until it is about your security or someone calls for it."

Kuman was aware of their special identities, but he didn’t expect them to extend an olive branch to him. The young man took a deep breath and he replied, "Fine. I will give you an answer after discussing this matter with the rest of the clan. Till then, please keep this Khukhri with yourself."

Hao Ren nodded and stored the blade back inside his space ring, however, he gave over a long sword to Kuman and used spiritual communication to say, "Use this as an excuse. They would expect you to show them something nice from the small world. This is one of those things."

Kuman smiled and accepted the sword before he asked, "Would you be returning to the Clan?"

Han Lingshi shook his head and replied, "No, we will be heading back now, things are a little urgent."

Kuman nodded and then Hao Ren opened a void portal leading directly to the Crescent Moon Palace. Han Lingshi was the first to go in, followed by Hao Ren.

The couple returned to the palace, and they were greeted by Xiao Mei, who detected the spatial fluctuations in the surroundings and rushed over to check. Hao Ren looked at Xiao Mei talking to Han Lingshi and said, "Xiao Mei, I want you to clean up the room for any surveillance that you have set up there. Right away."

The palace had long entered the level where they could control the place with their voice, and for that they needed to set up a lot of modules. Xiao Mei replied, "Ummm, okay, I will temporarily turn off the surveillance in your room, and nothing would be recorded."

Hao Ren shook his head and said, "I want you to simply remove it all, no switching off."

That said, he turned away and said, "Lingshi, I will see you at night. I am going to prepare a few things."

Han Lingshi shook her head and Xiao Mei asked, "Is it really so exciting to be have a moment of physical intimacy with your partner?"

Han Lingshi would have blushed had it been the past, but today she said, "For that you would need to find a partner for yourself."

Xiao Mei rolled her eyes and replied, "I will also need to gain a human body. Some emotions do not exist for me even though I have a better body now."

Han Lingshi nodded and replied, "One day, for sure you will find a way."

The two ladies chatted as they moved to the room, and cleaned up the place. Meanwhile, Hao Ren appeared in the city bazaar with his face disguised and he purchased things like scented candles, some fragrant decorative flowers, and finally some nice wine from one of the cities most renowned shops.

After that he made a stop at a shop that sold clothes with a mixed ideology. They were selling some gowns that looked really sensual followed with some heels, and jewelry inspired by the blue star fashion sense. Hao Ren walked inside the store and bought over a couple of dresses and shoes to match them along with the jewelry.

Although Han Lingshi had a lot of clothes and jewelery, she was the empress of the nation, however, Hao Ren thought that it was his responsibility to give something to his wife on the special night. He also wanted to enjoy this night together with his wife like a couple of mortals with high stamina levels. As he thought about that, he smiled and headed back to the palace.

Inside the palace, Han Lingshi had come to the study and she was about to handle a few things before she retired for the night, but Hao Ren appeared at that time and grabbed her from the waist directly. He didn’t mind if there were guards and palace staff in the corridor. He said, "Why are you trying to ruin it all? Come now, leave these things to big sis and Xiao Mei."

The staff smiled knowingly. The nation loved the Emperor and the Empress, they always prayed that these two people stay happy forever, because they changed the way things worked in the entire continent and not only that, they worked for the betterment of people without seeking any gains. The wealth and the fame they have acquired was something they earned and not by sucking away at the livelihood of the poor in the name of taxes and royalty.

Hao Ren picked Han Lingshi up in his arms and led her to the room. Despite the fact that Han Lingshi had been stabbing his shoulder constantly, Hao Ren didn’t care at all. They reached the room, and entered inside before Hao Ren placed Han Lingshi down to stand. Then he locked the door from the inside.

Han Lingshi asked exasperatedly, "Was there really any need to do something like this?"

Hao Ren nodded and replied, "Yes, there was, or don’t think I don’t know how you would keep on postponing things in the name of urgent matters to resolve. You are a workaholic and it took a lot of effort for me to bring out your naughty side."

Han Lingshi looked at him and shook her head as she replied, "Fine, but even if we stay here, how can we do anything until I am turned on?"

The young man replied, "Yes, for that, I have made some preparations."

He took out some things from his space ring and gave them to her, before he said, "You can try these dresses and I will set up the mood."

Han Lingshi nodded and went to the powder room, and Hao Ren got on with setting up the candles and the flower petals. He wanted to decorate the place as if it was their first night after wedding.

Hao Ren took half an hour, but was confused when Han Lingshi didn’t come back from the powder room. The young man knocked the door of the powder room and asked, "Lingshi, are you okay?"

The young lady hummed, and Hao Ren pushed the door open to enter. When he saw Han Lingshi dressed in a black gown with a deep neck back, he couldn’t help but walk up to her and place his lips to her jade like neck, giving her goosebumps.
