Hao Ren took a deep breath as he watched the Grandmaster refine the sword before him. The hammer had turned orange from the friction between the void and the hammer. This was the first time Hao Ren had seen something like this, but it was not only the burning hammer that was magnificent, it was also the impact it was dealing to the artifact under it.

The grandmaster finished refining the artifact but he had yet to create runes on the blade, he turned to look at Hao Ren and found the young man gazing at the void with a dull gaze. The old man was visibly shocked, he didn't expect that the display of his technique would lead this guy to an epiphany so casually.

He mumbled, 'No wonder his talent is so scary. Just who is this kid.'

After half an hour, Hao Ren woke up from the epiphany. He spotted that the old man had finished carving the runes on the sword. Grandmaster Flaming Hammer turned around to look at him, and asked, "Did you gain anything?"

Hao Ren nodded and replied, "Yes, Sir."

Grandmaster Flaming Hammer stroked his beard and said, "Then what are you waiting for, get on the furnace and consolidate your thoughts. Refine artifacts as much as you can."

Hao Ren nodded and then he walked up to the furnace and then began to refine weapons again. His speed was faster, and many times his hammer generated a few sparks. Grandmaster Flaming Hammer took a deep breath and his eyes were filled with admiration.

He could not believe what was happening before him. Someone managed to grasp the key to his technique with just one glance. How could he fathom this? However, he could do nothing else about it. Hao Ren didn't know about what was going on inside the mind of the old man and he was focused only on the embryo of the weapon in front of him.

At the same time he was comprehending a lot of things as well. After a few minutes, Hao Ren finished the weapon, and then began to refine another, and then the next. He went on to refine one after the other, and he didn't care if the old man was still watching him. All he cared for was the fact that he was learning.

After several hours, when he stopped refining weapons to rest a little. Grandmaster Flaming Hammer said, "Come with me."

Hao Ren nodded and then followed the old man who walked out of the courtyard and then the house in big strides. The young man was shocked, he could not understand where they were going but he wasn't worried about it at all. As they walked through the city, Hao Ren wanted to ask the old man about where they were going many times, but he could not help it and before they could reach the place, Hao Ren spotted a huge courtyard similar to what Flaming Hammer had been living in.

The guards saw the old man and bowed before the turned to the side and let them inside. Hao Ren followed behind the old man with great patience, and similar to the mansion of Grandmaster Flaming Hammer, he spotted a lot of people hammering down on the anvils and some of them were maintaining fire.

As Grandmaster Flaming Hammer walked inside the disciples bowed to him in respect before going back to their tasks. As Hao Ren followed the man inside the house, they bypassed the front courtyard, and reached the second courtyard and Old Man Flaming Hammer yelled, "Old Bastard! Come out."

The voice shook the house, and a calm voice replied, "Still putting on the show for the youngsters, you flaming pig. Lower your voice, this isn't your home."

As the voice sounded, Hao Ren spotted an old man walking out of a small room on the side, and Grandmaster Flaming Hammer said, "This old man is Grandmaster Serene Storme."

Hao Ren bowed to the old man and the latter asked, "Speak, why have you come to my sanctum."

The two people were polar contrast to each other, while Grandmaster Flaming Hammer was unkempt and boorish, Grandmaster Serene Storme was sophisticated and very well groomed.

Grandmaster Flaming Hammer said, "This young man came in yesterday and took the job as my assistant. I showed him the hammering technique, but he already has some understanding about it."

Grandmaster Serene Storme looked at him in surprised and asked, "Someone managed to learn your bizzare technique?"

His words flared up the temper of the boorish old man but he quickly turned to look at the young man and asked, "Young man can you show me what you have learned?"

Hao Ren nodded, he still didn't know what was going on but he wanted to learn all he could so he decided to show the old man a glimpse of what he could do. Grandmaster Serene Storme waved his hand and a furnace and anvil appeared before Hao Ren. The young man then thanked and replied, "Thank you, Grandmaster."

Serene Storme smiled with him and replied, "At least someone has manners."

Hao Ren took out his hammer and then began to refine a bunch of metal portions and then began to refine them all. His speed was fast and as his hammer moved through the void and then Serene Storme saw that the hammer was catching some sparks as it moved.

As Hao Ren moved ahead, he seemed to be holding his stance for a little and then the hammer moved so fast that it created even more sparks. His speed was not fast compared to before but his swings were higher that was why it created such a high amount of sparks. Gradually Hao Ren was able to heat up the hammer so much that it turned a little yellow.

The two grandmasters were so shocked that they opened their eyes wide. They could not understand how this guy was doing it. Grandmaster Serene Storme asked Grandmaster Flaming Hammer, "What is going on? How many days did you say you have taught him for?"

Grandmaster Flaming Hammer replied, "Just one day. I only showed it to him one time."

Grandmaster Serene Storme gulped and said, "Can we say that he has almost mastered the technique completely?"

The latter nodded and replied, "Yes, he has."

After a few minutes, he replied, "Old man, the younger generation will always be ahead of us."

The two old men nodded in understanding and after a few minutes, they took a deep breath and Hao Ren finished creating the artifact. When they were done, Serene Storme nodded and said, "Good, if you can learn the technique of this old man, you can also learn my technique."

Hao Ren was surprised and asked, "Sir, how can I do that?"

The old man chuckled and replied, "I will not ask you to accept me as your master, only accept me as a teacher. One man can have many teachers. What do you say?"

Hao Ren thought for a bit and nodded, as he said, "I will make sure that these techniques are handed down to suitable people."

Serene Storme nodded and then he displayed his own technique to Hao Ren. He stood beside the anvil and waved his hammer at the smelted metal. Hao Ren saw that the old man was directly moving the void with his hammer and it caused a gushing wind. This was something really miraculous.

Hao Ren took a deep breath and remarked, "Condensing the void at the tip of the hammerhead to impact the artifact and dispel the impurities."

Grandmaster Flaming Hammer nodded and replied, "I have tried many times to condense the void, but it is very tricky. His technique causes a storm around him but look, the artifact stays unaffected. Only the impact of the hammer is making it ripple."

Hao Ren nodded in understanding and decided to use the Eyes of Insight to decipher this technique, and while he was analyzing this, Serene Storme finished crafting the artifact, and turned around to find Hao Ren lost in a daze. Flaming Hammer said, "Now do you understand how crazy it was when I first saw it?"

Serene Storme sighed and replied, "Old Man, I have no idea that something like this could even happen, are you sure this guy is a human?"

Flaming hammer nodded and replied, "Yes, he is indeed a human. Can you not see through him?"

They discussed what they should teach Hao Ren, and this continued for several minutes, before they found Hao Ren waking up and walking towards the anvil. The young man began to smelt some metal and then he used his hammer to refine a spear, this time his hammer caught flames from the first blow itself and not only that, there was a soft gush of wind when the hammer collided with the artifact on the anvil.

Hao Ren was unbothered, he was completely engrossed in refining the artifact to the best of his abilities. His technique on the other hand, made the two old men shiver in excitement, they have finally found the successor to their techniques.
