“Move while I’m still talking nicely,” Olivia said, her eyes narrowing with a cold, dangerous glint and clear impatience on her face.
Seeing Olivia like this, Fiona grew even more uneasy, but she still blocked the doorway. She said, “Who do you think you are, talking to me like that? Do you even know who my niece is?”
“I don’t care who you are. Get lost,” Olivia snapped. Darkness clouded her eyes, her expression turning even more menacing as her patience hit its limit.
She stepped forward, about to grab Fiona by the cor and teach her a lesson, when a woman’s voice suddenly came from outside the door.
Natalie called out, “Aunt Fiona.” The next second, she stormed in, her sky–high heels clicking with every step, looking all fired up.
After everything she’d been throughtely, Natalie hated Olivia now. Her temper shot through the roof the second she saw Olivia. She demanded, “You? Why are you here?”
Fiona grabbed Natalie’s hand and said, “Natalie, that’s her–the one who imed she was going to operate on Juliet.”
Natalie sneered, “Her? She’s just a quack pretending to know traditional medicine. Surgery? Please, don’t buy into her crap.”
With Natalie here, Fiona’s confidence came flooding back, and her arrogance was on full disy. She shot Olivia a mocking look and said, “That’s right. Natalie’s a real professional, a graduate of Kingtonelle Medical University.
“Besides, she’s from the Evans family–a family of doctors. If she says something, you better believe she’s the authority here.”
Natalie lifted her chin even higher. Even though her hands were messed up and she couldn’t do surgeries anymore, with the Evans family’s reputation, she could still keep her ce in the medical field.
Besides, she had a PhD from Kingtonelle Medical University, specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Give her a few yearsb, /band she’d be running the department–her promotion was guaranteed.
Natalie had already checked out Juliet’s bcase/b. The brain tumor was in a super risky spot, surrounded by nerves and blood vessels.

She thought, ‘Not even the head of neurosurgery could pull it off–hell, even if Dr. Odin himself came back to life, he couldn’t save Juliet.‘
That was exactly why Fiona agreed toe from srough. She thought, ‘Dead is dead, doesn’t matter where Juliet dies. Plus, that guy named Lucas said he’d pay for everything–food, lodging, the works. No reason not to take advantageb./b”
Natalie cleared her throat and said, “Did you hear that, you little quack? Let me spell it out for you. Her tumor is right under the brainstem, connected to the nervous system and the respiratory center. It’s a super high–risk spot.
“One tiny mistake during surgery, and she’s done for. Even if she somehow survivesb, /bshe’ll be paralyzed from head to toe. You, à quack who’s never even held a scalpel, and you think you can pull off brain surgery? You’re way out of your league.”
Olivia propped her chin on her hand, watching their little show with obvious amusement. She thought, ‘Brain surgery? Please, that is nothing to me. I have handled even the most dangerous cases
before.‘
Fiona might not have understood a word Natalie just said, but she was still acting all smug. She said, “Did you hear that? Natalie’s the best. If she says it, it’s the truth, end of story. By the way, Natalie, why are you here today?”
That was just what Natalie was hoping for. She gave a little smile and said, “Nothing special. I heard my master wasing today, so I came to see him in person.”
Fiona suddenly remembered something and put on a look of fake shock. She eximed, “Wait, don’t tell me your master is that legendary Phantom Healer?”
