Once a Nobody. Now A Queen

“Everyone, we have the results.” Vivian stood and moved to the most prominent spot in the room. Her voice was resonant and firm. “Both candidates are outstanding physicians, and I expect that this result will in no way lead anyone to question their considerable expertise.”
“Mr. Evans.” Vivian nced at Henry.
Henry wore a proud expression and nced at Olivia. ‘I knew I would win,’ he thought.
Olivia sat there, lightly took a sip of her coffee, her expressionposed.
When Mitchell heard Vivian call out Henry’s name, his heart sank. ‘We’re done for. Henry definitely won‘
Seeing that Olivia was still sipping her coffee, Mitchell grew anxious. “Olivia, aren’t you worried at all?”
“Why should I?” she asked.
“Henry would win. Look at Natalie. She is getting so carried away.” Mitchell frowned. “But don’t worry. I am here to support you. The Evans family won’t dare do anything to you.”
Lucas shook his head helplessly. ‘Oh, what a fool.‘
Upon witnessing the scene, everyone assumed that Henry had won and was about to offer their congrattions.
Vivian said, “Mr. Evans, your medical skills are impressive, but the prescription you provided this time was incorrect. It was not suited to the patient’s condition at all. For this reason, you have ced second on this asion.”
Her voice was remarkably clear and prating, reaching everyone in the room.
Everyone got it. There were only two participants. cing second meant he hade inst.
Henry’s smile froze on his face. This sounded impossible to him.
Natalie was also taken aback. ‘Did I hear it wrong? Uncle Henry lost and that girl won?‘
“Therefore, the winner is Olivia,” Vivian announced with a faint smile. “Olivia, would you care to exin your prescription?”
A single, stark rmendation was disyed on the screen: Emotional stability.
“Can this really be considered a prescription?” someone asked.
Another one said, “That’s all? She’s not prescribing any medicine?”

Once again, all eyes in the room were on Olivia.

Natalie did not believe the result and rushed forward to snatch the slip of paper from Vivian’s hand.
Olivia was indeed the winner.
“How is this possible? How could she win?” Natalie shouted.
“Miss, you’ve gone too far.” Vivian’s gaze grew colder. Everyone who tried to take something from her had paid for it.
rmed, Rowan yanked Natalie backward. “I am so sorry, Ms. Shea. Please, just ignore her,” she pleaded repeatedly.
Vivian decided not to let the incident spoil her day. With a contemptuous flick of her wrist, she dismissed them.
Cheryl was also stunned, unable to believe her own ears. ‘Olivia really knows medicine? But that’s not in the novel. What on earth is going on?‘
Mitchell also felt somewhat shocked and scratched his head. ‘Did I hear that right? Did Olivia truly win?‘
Henry’s cane tapped the floor for emphasis as he turned to Vivian, his anger boiling over. “Alright, Ms. Shea, I want to know why. They say a solid case can withstand debate, so let’s debate it.
“I’ve got years of experience under my belt. I’ve seen it all. So how does a man with my record lose to aplete amateur? I’m not buying it.”
When the others saw that Henry had voiced his doubts, they too found the courage to speak up, and the
discussion continued.
“Why is this young girl ranked first? That’s not convincing.”
“Could it be that they’ve already colluded with each other?”
“That is a Shea we’re talking about. Who could possibly collude with a Shea? That’s nonsense.”
Some believed Olivia, while others believed Henry.
Troy took a leisurely sip of his coffee, a man privy to a secret no one else knew. With unshakable conviction, he dered, “Anyone who doubts that young girl is a fool.”
If his hunch was right, the patient in that room could only be Winston.
Winston had always been an irascible, entric old man. For years, his difficult personality had been its own kind of affliction. Yet people always suspected his condition was far moreplicated than it really was.
And just like that, Henry made an incorrect diagnosis.
“Grandfather, please do not say that,” Curtis said. He lightly pressed his thin lips together, the curve at his mouth perfectly measured. His schrly and refined aura emerged effortlessly, entuating hisposure.
It was simply Troy’s way to tell the truth, often leaving others embarrassed.

Vivian let out a coldugh. “Mr. Evans, do you not trust me, or do you not trust the Shea family?”
She sounded angry–clearly, she was on the verge of losing her temper.

“Ms. Shea, please don’t misunderstand,” Cheryl cut in smoothly, linking her arm with Henry’s while keeping her expression perfectly neutral. “Mr. Evans has the utmost respect for you. But this is apetition. Its credibility rests on the rules beingpletely fair, impartial, and transparent.”
By carefully avoiding any mention of her personal ties to Henry, she subtly separated herself from the Evans family.
If the Evans family won, her words would be seen as contributing to their victory. If they lost, her position would remain untainted.
“Besides,” Cheryl continued, casting a meaningful nce toward Olivia, “we can’t rule out the possibility of prior collusion–whether with the patient or the staff. Without absolute transparency, any hint of impropriety could damage the Shea family’s reputation.”
“Wouldn’t it be better to simply share the medical details and your own assessment? Then we can all see who truly has the superior skill–and who genuinely deserves first ce.”
After hearing what Cheryl said, Henry nodded in satisfaction, very pleased with his goddaughter.
“That’s right,” Natalie echoed in agreement.
Mitchell rolled his eyes, raising his voice. “Come on, Henry, if you can’t handle losing, you shouldn’t be ying the game. Being older doesn’t give you the right to throw your weight around. Have some shame, man.”
Lucas shot him a thumbs–up, his expression full of approval of this speech.
“Brat, this is none of your concern!” Rowan snapped. “Is that how you speak to an old man?”
Troy gave a dismissiveugh and remarked, “Although his words are blunt, his reasoning is sound.”
He then fixed his gaze on Henry and said earnestly, “Henry, you’re a grown man. Can’t you show a bit moreposure?”
Although Natalie was held back by Rowan, she was still furious. “Who can’t ept losing? And what the hell is that prescription she gave?”
With a smirk, Natalie turned to Lucas. “Lucas, you went in with her. Why don’t you exin this prescription?” “You’re the expert here, Lucas. Exin it to us.”
It was a tant trap. Aware he knew nothing about prescriptions, she was deliberately putting him on the spot to return the humiliation he’d dealt her.
Lucas was not annoyed; his gaze fell upon Olivia, and he made an inviting gesture. “Olivia, please.”
Olivia said, “The core issue is psychological. He’s holding onto a lot of anger, and his body is manifesting that stress physically. It’s causing muscle tension that leads to chest constriction and is suppressing her hunger
