A member of the investigation team noticed Rowan’s unusual behavior and reported to the leader, “Sir, she seems to have something to say.”

    The leader said, “Loosen her.”

Someone quickly pulled the gag out of Rowan’s mouth. Rowan coughed hard, trying to catch her breath.

“You’d better have something important to say,” the guy said, rubbing his forehead.

“If I provide additional information, will you let my daughter go?” Rowan asked directly. “This is my only request.”

The leader replied, “Depends on how much you give us.”

Henry looked at Rowan, his eyes filled with disbelief. He asked, “Rowan, are you out of your mind?”

Rowan gritted her teeth and raised her voice. “I report that Henry poisoned his own younger brother, my husband Shane Evans.”

Shane should’ve been the Evans family’s head. However, driven by jealousy, Henry switched Shane’s medicine and poisoned his daily meals with a slow–acting toxin, thereby elerating his death.

All of these were gradually discovered by Rowan in the days that followed.

Even after Shane died, Henry was still jealous. Back then, when Natalie’s hand was ruined, Henry didn’t even try to save her.

“He switched my husband’s medication and even poisoned his food, causing my husband’s death.” Rowan red fiercely at Henry, years of deeply buried hatred threatening to spill over. “After my husband died, he finally became the head of the Evans family as he wished.”

Rowan shouted, “I will use him of intentional homicide.”

Upon hearing this, the crowd fell silent.

There were two sons in the Evans family, both talented. Shane was chosen as the next head of the family, but he dropped dead right before taking over, so Henry took his ce.

After Henry assumed office, he indeed led the Evans family’s medical enterprise to new heights, establishing it as the leadingpany in Hirica.

But nobody could have anticipated that such secretsy behind this.

Natalie was also stunned. The person responsible for her father’s death was actually her father’s elder brother -the very one she had always been proud of. She couldn’t believe that.

Henry shouted angrily, “You madwoman! Utter nonsense. I’ll kill you.” With that, he struggled, trying to hit

    Rowan.

As Henry got pulled away, he suddenly remembered what Olivia told him and started desperately looking for her. Suddenly, he spotted Olivia. She toasted him with a ss of red wine.

“You wretched girl! You did this to me.” Henry’s eyes were bloodshot, his face flushed with rage. Restrained by others, he could do nothing but watch helplessly as Olivia moved farther and farther away.

As Rowan was being dragged away, she kept her tear–filled eyes fixed on Natalie. She thought, ‘This may be thest time I see you, my beloved daughter.‘

Rowan had always been timid, except when it came to matters concerning her daughter.

If Shane had be the head of the Evans family back then, perhaps things would not have turned out this

    way.

The police did not spare Natalie and Cheryl, who were standing to the side; the two of them were dragged out together.

Cheryl frantically exined that she was a Evans, thereby avoiding being taken away.

The atmosphere throughout the hall became tense immediately.

The mood of everyone attending the party waspletely ruined. The crowd was extremely anxious, terrified that the matter might implicate them.

The Evans family’s affair immediately topped the trending list, causing an uproar throughout Hirica.

The prominent aristocratic families present did not dare to speak, while some smaller families were chatting enthusiastically.

“Is the Evans family truly finished this time?”

“Human trafficking, organ trafficking–any one of these charges would be enough to have Henry executed 800 times over.”

“No wonder the Evans family has managed to maintain its position in Hirica for so many years. It turns out they have been engaging in these illicit activities behind the scenes.”

    “Oh, no. My phone!”

    “Quick, look at your phones!”

In an instant, everyone’s phone was controlled, and a videosting over ten minutes started ying on everyone’s phone. No one could stop it.

Not just phones–even the big screens at malls, hospitals, subway stations–all got hacked to y the video,

A young woman angrily asked, “My grandma just had a regr illness, yet you im she requires coronary artery bypass surgery, with a procedure fee of 600 thousand. My dad died trying to pay for it. Can you even sleep at night?”

There was a loud p, then Henry’s voice. “Why can’t I? You and your folks are nothing to me.”

He continued, “You have nothing but empty words–no evidence, no power, no influence. What do you have to fight me with? But it doesn’t matter. Soon, you’ll be reunited with your family. Guards, throw her out at

    once!”

The audio concluded at this point and transitioned to a video segment.

In the video, a visibly pregnant woman–Sophie–held up her ID and said, “I’m Sophie, and I’m calling out the Evans Group for what they did in Magnolia Town.

“They work with traffickers and trick college girls into donating eggs and being surrogates. When they’re used up, they’re sold for their organs!”

Immediately afterward, the video showed an increasing number of young women’s faces.

In unison, they dered, “We are reporting the Evans family for treating women’s wombs asmodities and regarding us as reproductive tools. We urge the police to arrest them and bring them to justice.”

Next, another scrolling list was appended; it was a list of victims who were unwilling to record videos.

A lot of women there got super emotional–some even cried.

The scene shifted again, revealing Nathan’s face. He looked visibly irritated and said, “As I stated, the surgery costs 600 thousand. No discount.”

A man replied, “But I’m just a farmer. I can’te up with that much money.”

“Then no treatment,” Nathan replied coldly. “Or, I’ve got two options for you.

“The card on the left is for loans.” Nathan pushed two cards forward. “The one on the right is a good way to make money quickly. You have a daughter, don’t you?”

The scene abruptly came to a halt. Another video appeared on therge screen.

Nathan showed up at the farmer’s house with some thugs. “No money? Then pay with your body.”

“No!” A little girl blocked her father. “You must not touch my father.”

“Pretty girl.” Nathan lifted her chin, his eyes gleaming with greed. “Take her away.”
