Once a Nobody. Now A Queen

Andrew spoke gently, carefully shifting the topic. “It seems you’re quite impressed with that girl.”

Winston nodded. “She’s very clever. She doesn’t just rely on X–rays to make a diagnosis. Henry got misled by the images and made a mistake. She saw the mistake right away and pointed out what was really wrong.”
Winston stroked his beard. “The person you admire must be exceptional. When Vivian’s gifts were rejected by everyonest time, she epted them and openly admitted she loved money. That’s interesting.”
“She truly does love money.” Andrew’s smile faded.
“It’s her, right?” Winston immediately picked up on it, unable to hide his happiness. “I knew I wasn’t wrong.”
“Why are you so excited?” asked Andrew.
“This is about your whole future,” Winston said, getting excited as he started listing potential gifts. “I’ll give her eight houses in Kingtonelle, three in Hirica, seven in Bayhurst, and a few estates in Engloria.”
As he spoke, he stood and pped his hands. “She loves money, doesn’t she? Too bad I only have one million dors in cash this time.”
Winston said, a bit annoyed, “I don’t think it’s enough.” He pointed at Andrew. “It’s your fault. You insisted we stay low–key; otherwise, we wouldn’t be this short on funds.”
The Shea family was extraordinarily wealthy, with every member ustomed tovish spending. Yet Andrew acted with restraint, disliking extravagance, and often urged others to stay low–profile as well.
Even this party was held in a modest vi of his choosing. Had it been up to Winston, he would have booked thergest hotel in Hirica for several days.
“Grandpa,” Andrew said, finally cutting him off. “You’re getting ahead of yourself. Don’t forget, I’m already engaged.”
Winston came to his senses and snickered. “Weren’t you supposed to cancel the
engagement?”
Andrew said, “I failed again.”
After a long silence, Winston nodded, his expression serious. “It’s fine. Once we find Ivy, your engagement will be called off. What’s more urgent now is your personal matters.”
Andrew raised an eyebrow, clearly puzzled by his words.
Seeing the bewildered look on Andrew’s face, Winston waved his hands in frustration. “I’m talking about your rtionship issues.”
When Winston was young, he was charming and popr with women. He couldn’t understand why Andrew was theplete opposite–no woman seemed to take an interest in him.
Andrew let out a sigh and looked Winston in the eye. “Maybe I’m just born to be unlucky in love, and with my health, I’m not really thinking about dating right now.”
Winston frowned. “Astor said you’re born unlucky in love, but he never said you can’t fall in love. It’s time you start thinking about it. Your fate is in your own hands.”
Winston knew that Andrew was making excuses. Everything stemmed from the reading. The thought that Andrew might not live past twenty–eight saddened him deeply.

He thought for a moment, then decided to let it go. After all, Samuel’s granddaughter hadn’t been found yet. He would deal
with itter.
What truly troubled him was how Andrew had spent over twenty years alone, living a life of solitude.
“It’s up to you,” Winston sighed deeply, his tone softening. “I’m sorry I couldn’t provide you with a better life.”
Andrew interrupted gently with a cough, “It’s not your fault. I believe in fate, and I have noints about my life.
He felt that if his death could bring peace to the Shea family, then he wouldn’t have any regrets.
Winston lightly patted him on the back. “Good boy.”
People only saw the wealth of the Shea family, but few understood the bitter struggles hidden behind their prestigious
name.
Many years ago, Winston made a wrong business decision that indirectly led to the copse of several families. Although heterpensated them, he always felt a deep sense of guilt.
He felt that his actions had affected Andrew.
Astor had once foretold that Andrew’s life would turn around, but after so many years of waiting, they were beginning to lose hope.
Andrew understood what Winston was thinking, but didn’t interrupt. He leaned backzily on the couch, picking up a document to skim through.
As he flipped through the pages, an idea suddenly crossed his mind. Though the Revival Grass was fake, it still had to be returned to its rightful owner.
It took Nina a while, but she finally stopped crying.
Olivia helped her to her feet, sending a quick message to Sean. [Mission aplished. Come back.]
She also transferred 150 dors to Sean. [Here’s your reward.]
After a brief pause, Olivia decided to send another 1,500 dors.
Upon receiving the message, Sean broke into a broad smile and quickly left. He decided to treat himself to a hearty meal tonight. Before he left, he left behind a few virtual addresses to throw off anyone who might be tracking him.
Just as he was about to head out, he heard Grace’s voice from inside. “Sean, did you chew on the TV cable again? It’s broken.”
Sean had a tendency to bite everything in sight. He shook his head, though–it wasn’t him this time.
That was Olivia’s idea. She worried Grace wouldn’t be able to handle the bnews /bjust yet, so she made the TV malfunction. Everyone in Hirica knew about the Evans family, but Grace was in the dark.
“Sean?” Grace came out with medicine in hand, only to find he was gone. “Where did he go?”
Some wealthy women, who had left the Shea Manor early, took pity on Margaret and offered her a coat, saving her from freezing to death.
As Margaret’s body warmed up, she couldn’t resist showing off. She began chatting with the wealthydies waiting for their

Margaret kept rubbing her hands, her face filled with pride. “Yeah, though Cheryl has been away from home for over ten years, she’s still doing great. She just got into Kingtonelle University’s Design Department, and she was first in her ss.”
“Mrs. Sherman, you must be so proud of your daughter.”
“Yeah. Congrattions.”
Margaret, ttered by the praise, continued to boast. “I am. After the New Year, our whole family will be moving to Kingtonelle.”
