“What?” Howard felt a bit powerless as Charles pulled him away several steps, until he was several feet away from Olivia.
‘How could she not be Ivy?‘ Howard thought to himself.
Howard and Ivy were fraternal twins. When they were young, they sometimes even had the same dreams; they could be said to be very telepathic.
Ever since Ivy went missing, Howard often had a recurring dream.
In the dream, Howard was trapped in a fire, with heavy objects pressing on him.
He was about to die when, suddenly, a little girl around four years old rushed over, knocked off the heavy objects on him, saved him, and then led him out of the fire.
But every time he woke up from the dream, Howard’s memory would be jumbled, and he couldn’t brecall /bthe face of the little girl.
Yet his intuition told him that the little girl must be Ivy.
Samuel didn’t know why Howard had suddenly be like this, but he was used to it.
Howard had always been impulsive. He left home at the age of thirteen to be a racing driver, to pursue his dreams, and he wouldn’te back even once a year.
If it weren’t for Samuel’s illness, Howard wouldn’t havee back this time.
“Dr. Summers, how have you beentely?” Samuel waved at Olivia, signaling her to sit beside him.
Olivia, carrying her medical bag, sat demurely next to Samuel. “I’m fine.”
She always subconsciously wanted to get close to Samuel, which she found strange herself.
Samuel’s smile deepened. His health had improved significantly, and he wanted to see Olivia again.
Samuel had been in Hirica for so long without finding Ivy. The business in Kingtonelle couldn’t be left unattended, and he had to go back.
“Mr. Summersb, /bis there something wrong with you?” Olivia’s voice was indifferent, getting straight to the point.
Samuel didn’t hide anything from her. “I’m a bit unwell. I always feel a tingling in my hand, and I feel cold all over.”
“Let me take a look at you.” Olivia examined him, her eyebrows flickering slightly.
“There’s no serious problem,” Olivia said with a lightugh, shaking her head. “In traditional medicine theory, the tingling you feel indicates that your breath can reach the area, but the blood can’t. With long–term conditioning, you will recover. There won’t be any major issues.”
“How should I condition myself?” Charles frowned, as he was most worried about his grandfather’s health.
“Warm the meridians, unblock the coterals, activate the blood cirction, and increase physical activity. Acupuncture or taking traditional medicine can also help,” Olivia said without looking up, inserting a long needle into Samuel’s neck casually.
“Long–term conditioning won’t work; there’s not enough time. We have to use a quick method,” she added.

As soon as the needle went in, blood immediately gushed out from Samuel’s neck, staining his hospital gown red.
Charles was worried, his voice urgent. “Ms. Summers, what-”
“What are you doing?” a voice rang out.
ine had juste in to check on Samuel and saw Olivia holding a long needle to Samuel’s neck.
Although she didn’t know much about medicine, she knew that the carotid artery was in the neck. Coupled with what had just happened outside, she instinctively thought that Olivia was trying to harm Samuel.
“Let go of my grandfather,” ine raised her voice and lunged to grab the needle from Olivia.
Olivia was quick to react, dodging aside and grabbing ine’s wrist with her other hand, her voice calm. “Miss, interrupting a doctor while they’re treating a patient is very dangerous.”
Olivia used a clever force. Although it wasn’t strong, it was effective because she knew the right acupoints. With just a slight press, she made ine feel a lot of pain.
“Ouch, that hurts.” ine frowned, her pretty face contorted.
Her long eyshes trembled slightly, and a blush spread across her face. Even with such an expression, she still looked charming and beautiful.
