Nina was, after all, still young. Her emotions were written inly on her face. Upon hearing that she was being taken to the police station, she felt even more uncertain.

Grace patted her hand gently and reassured her in a soft voice. “Don’t worry. Olivia knows what she’s doing. If she had the nerve to tie this knot, she could figure out how to untie it.”

Nina furrowed her brow and suddenly thought of something. “I’ve got it. I have a solution,‘ she said. As she spoke, Nina gathered a few belongings and exited through another door.

Boris sat there, initiating the interrogation without holding anything in his hands.

Olivia gave a derisiveugh. “So this is enough to convict me?”

“That’s because youmitted a crime,” Boris said smugly, tossing a piece of paper to her. “All right, since you’re still young, you’ll just be fined 30 thousand and detained for a month. When you get out, remember to be a good person.”

The higher–ups had ordered her to be detained for a month and to leave a record. By the time she was released, the issue would have been resolved.
