Olivia whispered, “If you tell the truth, nothing will happen to you. However, if you lie, all the blood vessels in your body will gradually rupture, and you will die slowly as a result.”

The pill Olivia slipped Nn was called Truth Serum. She’d cooked it up on a slow afternoon just for fun- never imagining she’d actually get to use it.

Nn refused to believe that such a thing could exist. He thought, ‘Something that only appears in novels could not possibly exist in reality. She is trying to deceive me!

Olivia saw through his thoughts and said casually, “If you don’t believe me, you can try it. First question: Is the person directing you from behind the scenes present right now?” As she spoke, she stepped aside, revealing several people behind her.

Marcus felt a chill in his heart and secretly clenched his fist. He thought, ‘She’s clearlying after me!

Nn paid no heed to Olivia’s remarks and blurted out, “Of course not.”

Hearing this, Marcus felt considerably reassured. He was certain that Nn did not have the courage to expose him.

In the next moment, Nn spat out a mouthful of blood. He covered his mouth in disbelief, staring at Olivia in terror.

Olivia said, “See? I told you. If you’re sure you can take it, go ahead and give it a shot. Second question: Do you know Marcus?b” /b

Marcus’s expression changed dramatically.

Only then did Nn realize the gravity of the situation–Olivia was using his life to force him to tell the truth.

Olivia caressed her fingers and said, “Think carefully before you answer, okay?” She didn’t even look at Nn. She was sure that Nn would tell the truth.

She thought, ‘If Marcus could threaten Nn through his family, I will threaten Nn with his own life. Men like that love themselves more than they love anyone else.’

Nn struggled for a long time before finally admitting, “I know him.”

Olivia raised an eyebrow and pressed, “Then, is Marcus the one who made the anonymous report? Is he also the person behind it?”

Nn replied, “Yes.”

Olivia asked, “What did he promise you, and what did he ask you to do?”

Nn said, “He promised me a payout once the job was done. He wanted me to get you arrested, saddle you with a record, and wipe out your channel–all just for…” He looked up at Marcus and couldn’t force another

word out.

Olivia added, “To prevent his daughter’s actions from being exposed, right?” She then stared at Marcus and snapped, “Marcus, your career is promising, and your life is fulfilling.

“Yet your daughter, J, has bullied and harassed her ssmates at school, destroying the bright futures of so many others. Physical bullying, malicious rumors, social exclusion, psychological abuse–she hasmitted every one of them.

“And you are fully aware of all this. Not only did you fail to stop her ongoing bullying, but you also assisted her in covering it up and silencing the victims.

“Are you truly acting in her best interests, or are you primarily concerned with safeguarding your own career prospects? Do you think that having Nn silence me will solve everything?”

Olivia spoke slowly, her voice soft and gentle–yet every word carried a hidden sting. She continued, “But I am not the only one who witnessed this. You may silence me, but can you silence the voices of the masses?”

Everyone present was a shrewd individual. Now that Olivia had made her point so clear, if they still failed to grasp the underlying implications, their years of experience would have been for nothing.

Victor felt a chill in his heart upon hearing this; the darkness of people’s livelihood was exactly what he least wanted to see. He thought, ‘Even these officials are contributing to darkness. How desperate those bullied people must feel.‘

He snapped, “Marcus, how dare you exploit your position to do such things? Your daughter is leading the bullying of her ssmates, and you do nothing about it. What kind of official do you think you are?”

Stanley understood the whole story.

During a livestream, Olivia inadvertently exposed a student being bullied. The bully turned out to be Marcus’s daughter. To shield his daughter, Marcus teamed up with Nn to frame Olivia–an usation that could saddle her with a permanent record.

Stanley thought, ‘Olivia is barely eighteen and incredibly gifted. Come New Year, she’ll sit for the SAT and could easilynd a top university–unless this leaves her with a record. How vicious of Marcus and Nn.

‘Thank goodness I came today–I can’t imagine how badly they would’ve treated her otherwise. She’s orphaned, with Grace as her only family.

‘She finally built a following and hoped to earn a living from streaming, yet this mob still hauled her off to the station. It’s downright heartless!

Connor looked both surprised and incredulous. He had met J before. She wasn’t especially striking— petite and seemingly well–behaved–and he couldn’t picture her as a school bully.

He thought, ‘Could J’s good–girl act be nothing but a fa?ade? And since her school falls under Marcus’s jurisdiction, Olivia’s story suddenly sounds a lot more believable!

Marcus protested, “nder. What nonsense are you spouting? J is such a well–behaved child. How could she possibly bully her ssmates?”

As he spoke, he reached out to tug at Connor, pleading aloud, “Mr. Vale, please believe me. You have met J before. Atst year’s opening ceremony, she even acted as your introducer as the outstanding student

representative.”

Olivia sneered, “Marcus, you must have spent quite a bit. Outstanding student representative–do you need me to remind you how this title was obtained?”

ording to information obtained by Sean, J had an average academic performance. Marcus considered J’s ordinary grades a source of embarrassment and spent tens of thousands of dors to buy scores for

her.

Even so, J was consistently overshadowed by Wendy. Over time, her envy turned into hatred, and she began bullying Wendy at school.

Marcus’s face turned livid as he stubbornly refused to back down. He said, “You need evidence for your words. If you make baseless usations like this, I can sue you for defamation.”

Olivia nodded and said, “People who ask me for evidence are my favoritei./ii” /iShe had been racking her brain for the perfect moment to unveil the proof that would bury him once and for all. fn8d29 ???s ??????? ?s ?????? ?? FιndNovel/fn8d29

Immediately, Olivia disassembled her wristwatch.

The wristwatch had been extensively modified: whenever she wanted, it could transform into a projector, a drone, or even aser gun. After a few deft twists, a tiny projection flickered to life.

Olivia turned off the light in the room and slid her fingers casually across the virtual panel a few times. She said, “Here is the evidence you wanted. Watch closely.”

The room waspletely dark, and immediately afterward, a video appeared on therge screen.
