Olivia said, “School bullying iis /iinherently illogical. What your daughtercks most in her education is learning how to respect both others and her own differences. Beyond her own malice, there is also your failure as a father.”
Victor added, “This is not affection–it’s indulgence. How can you sleep every night?” fna4bd Checktest chapters at F?ndNovel/fna4bd
Marcus said, “I’m sorry. I did not know. But my daughter is still a minor. Please release her. Punish me. It is all my fault.”
Seeing Marcus like this, Olivia knew she wouldn’t get anything more out of him. Still, she couldn’t let J off the hook–anything less would betray L’s memory–yet she had no idea how to deal with the situation.
She walked over to Stanley and asked, “Mr. Saunders, how would a case like J’s normally be judged?”
Stanley replied, “It won’t be easy to decide on a sentence–J’s still a minor. And since it was a group offense that only indirectly led to L’s death, the punishment will probably be light.”
Victor said, “Anyone over sixteen is criminally liable. Given the vicious nature of the bullying, the death it caused, and the multiple victims, a few years behind bars is almost guaranteed.”
Olivia said, “Have the school expel J and her crew to set an example. Then make them apologize to every student they bullied and pay fullpensation–before they serve their prison sentence.”
Victor said, “Rest assured, I’ll keep an eye on this matter.”
Anyone who had been bullied knew the fear–rumors, exclusion, fists. Bullies shrugged it off as “just kidding” or “ying around,” but for the victims, every single day was hell.
Bullying might stop, but the damagested a lifetime; the emotional scars never faded. The bullies would forget their words, but the victims couldn’t forget the helplessness or the feeling of having nowhere to turn.
Olivia sneered inwardly, ‘Marcus thinks he can keep shielding his daughter from justice? Not a chance!
On the other side, the interrogator instructed Nn to make his own statement.
With Olivia no longer watching, Nn gave evasive, meaningless answers, trying to throw the interrogators off. He said, “It’s all a misunderstanding. At worst, I helped the wrong side. I haven’t done anything truly wrong.”
The interrogator put handcuffs on Nn and said, “You are under arrest.”
Nn blurted, “No way–why me?”
The interrogator said, “Even Marcus has been arrested; what are you still struggling for?”
No sooner had the words been spoken than the door opened. Marcus entered, wearing handcuffs.
Nn’s expression changed abruptly. He stammered, “H–How could it be?”

The interrogator said, “Stop being so incredulous. Hurry up and get inside. You two will share a cell”
Fiona was standing in front of the Sherman Group building. Since the Evans family fell from power, her life had grown harder by the day. Only her lingering connection to Margaret kept her afloat in Firica.
Fiona entered Margaret’s office with practiced ease. The moment she sat down, she said, “Honestly, your methods don’t work. Look at me–1 did it with almost no effort, and Olivia was hauled in right away. Without the Shermans, she’s nothing.”
Margaret frowned and said, “Did I not tell you? Do note to thepany. Tell me, what’s going on with Olivia now?”
Fiona said, “She will be convicted soon. At thetest, by tomorrow, she will definitely be in prison.”
Margaret’s expression softened upon hearing this, and she poured some coffee for Fiona. She said, “That’s good. This has put my mind at ease. Don’t let her get away again. Don’t let her get away again.”
If it were not for the fact that Fiona’s husband held an official position, Margaret would never lower herself to associate with Fiona.
Margaret thought, ‘Good–Fiona came through and had Olivia taken into custody right away. Cheryl’s made it clear: give Olivia a record, and no one will ever stand in her way again.’
Fiona said confidently, “Rx–she won’t get out. That director owes his promotion to my husband; my word isw there. If it weren’t for Olivia, my sister wouldn’t end up like this. Olivia brought it on herself.”
Margaret squeezed Fiona’s shoulder and said, “Don’t be too upset. Locking Olivia up will at least avenge your sister.”
Fiona said, “Yes, I have avenged my sister. But Grace still won’t hand over the money. Her cold–heartedness is staggering.”
Margaret said, “Grace? After poisoning so many children back then, what genuine emotion could she possibly have? Even her apparent concern for Olivia is just an act.”
Fiona set down her cup and fixed her gaze on Margaret. She said, “I don’t know whether she’s acting or not, but I do know that you wouldn’t. When will you give me the money we agreed on earlier?”
Margaret asked, “Are you certain Olivia has already been apprehended?”
Fiona said, “Of course. Whether she is guilty or not is irrelevant–if I say she is guilty, then she is guilty. My husband is the district chief; dealing with a young girl like her is a trivial matter.”
Margaret wasn’t sure how much clout Fiona’s husband really had, but Fiona’s confidence put her at ease. She said, “Then I’m good. Let’s stick to the n: 100 thousand.” With that, she picked up her phone to prepare for
the transfer.
Fiona said, “Wait a moment, Mrs. Sherman. 100 thousand was only yesterday’s price.”

Margaret asked, “What do you mean?”
Fiona said, “In other words, the price has gone up now. I want 150 thousand now
Margaret gripped her phone tightly and snapped, “In your dreams. This bis /ban arbitrary price increase Fiona said casually, “Mrs. Sherman, please don’t be upset.”
