“They’re just here for onest push to get into a school like Kingtonelle University,” Hallie spat. “But you? You didn’t get into high school. What are you doing here? What gives you the right to even be in the same room?”
In her mind, a star teacher like herself should only be teaching the best and brightest, not some bumpkin who never even went to high school. She felt it was embarrassing to have someone like Olivia in her ss.
The other students were floored. From the way she carried herself, they’d all pegged Olivia as being smart- quiet but sharp. They just assumed she was like them, shooting for a top like Kingtonelle University.
It never urred to them she’d never been to high school. Suddenly, she wasn’t one of them anymore.
They all knew Hallie’s temper. To cross her on the first day, especially for someone like Olivia, was social suicide. Her time in this program was going to be a living hell.
But Olivia’s expression didn’t flicker. She just kept her arms folded and waited for the performance to end.
Seeing that Olivia wasn’t taking the bait, Hallie’s voice got even nastier. “I can’t imagine what you had to do to get in here, especially dressed like that.”
She gave Olivia a slow, insulting look from head to toe, a cruel smile ying on her lips. “A shady deal, I guess? Some girls have no shame these days. Get out. You’re wasting my time.” fnd56c Read full story at find{n}ovel/fnd56c
Then, Hallie turned on the rest of the students. “Listen up, and listen good. My rules are simple: no one iste, and no one leaves early. In my ssroom, there are no second chances. You arete once, you are gone forever.
“You’re all here because you want to get into a better college. Then you’re going to act like you actually want to learn. Otherwise, you can join her on the way out.
“Your old SAT scores mean nothing to me. In this room, you all start at zero. The practice exam we’re havingter will tell me who is actually worth my time. And believe me, I don’t teach idiots.”
Hallie kept lecturing, but the students just sat in silence, too scared to make a sound. It was clear this was her method: break them down until they were too scared to fight back.
‘Seriously?‘ Olivia thought. “They just sit here and take this crap?‘
A sly glint appeared in Olivia’s eyes. She nodded sweetly and said, “Yes, ma’am. I understand.”
Hallie didn’t expect Olivia to cave so fast. ‘Am I seeing things? There’s something creepy about the way this girl’s looking at me…‘
But one look at Olivia’s cheap outfit, and Hallie decided she was imagining it. She let out a cold snort. “If you understand, then get out of my ssroom. Or do you want me to drag you out?”
But Olivia wasn’t leaving. Instead, she bent down, using a tissue to pick up the pieces of chalk from the floor. Then, she calmly uncapped the ss of water on Hallie’s desk and dumped the entire mess inside.
Olivia slid the now cloudy ss across the desk toward Hallie. A sweet smile yed on her lips. “All that
talking must have made you thirsty,” she said brightly. “Drink up.”

Hallie and all the students gaped. Their minds were short–circuiting as they tried to process what had just happened.
“My ss!” Hallie finally shrieked, staring at the cloudy water in horror. “What do you think you’re doing? That’s an import from Engloria. It costs a thousand dors.
She snatched the ss and frantically dumped the chalky water out. Her face was practically purple with rage as she red at Olivia. “I knew it,” she hissed. “You’re a troublemaker, through and through.
