Chapter 38: There Are Two Madams at Home
CHAPTER 38: CHAPTER 38: THERE ARE TWO MADAMS AT HOME
At the critical moment, Ivy Kensington sped up her movements and finally hid in the wardrobe at the last second.
Sebastian Blackwood pulled off his blindfold and saw Dahlia Kensington, who had changed clothes, standing by the door.
Inexplicably, a trace of disappointment flashed in the man’s eyes.
Is this what she meant by trying something different?
Dahlia Kensington thought she would see a cold and indifferent Sebastian, but unexpectedly, the man had taken off his clothes and was waiting for her in the bedroom. She immediately felt joyful and hurried over.
"Sebastian, I’ve missed you so much."
Dahlia’s eyes nearly sparkled. She coveted not only Sebastian’s wealth, but more importantly, the man himself. His face was exceptionally handsome, and his physique, even at a glance, made her knees weak.
Instinctively, Sebastian caught Dahlia, but when she leaped into his arms, the strong scent of perfume hit him, and his brows furrowed immediately.
This wasn’t the right scent.
Dahlia was now overwhelmed with surprise and delight. This was the first time Sebastian had embraced her proactively!
In an instant, filled with energy, Dahlia quickly loosened her clothes, bashfully saying, "Honey, I want your love~"
Ivy sat inside the wardrobe with her arms crossed, her heart pounding with tension slowly calming down, replaced by a sour feeling.
He must be... unable to wait to do it with Dahlia, especially since he was in such a hurry earlier...
Suddenly, "Mm~"
Dahlia let out a sultry moan, and Ivy’s eyes stung. She immediately covered her ears with her hands.
She didn’t want to hear any sounds of him making love with Dahlia...
Dahlia expected the man to kiss her eagerly, but unexpectedly, he strongly grasped her arm, causing her to cry out in pain.
The next second, Sebastian stood up, put on an outer coat, and strode out: "Rest well, I have something to do."
Dahlia was dumbfounded. Why did this happen? When she came in, she could feel the man’s body conveying its desire. Why did he suddenly leave?
Furious and unable to quell her overwhelming desire, Dahlia simply called her little lover for the night and then slipped out as well.
Ivy crouched in the wardrobe until her legs went numb. When she crawled out, the bedroom was pitch black. She didn’t dare linger and hurriedly ran out.
Unexpectedly, she ran into Mrs. Langley.
Mrs. Langley felt tonight was surreal. Didn’t the madam just leave not long ago? Why did she return?
"Madam, you’re back again?"
Ivy dared not say much, muttering, "Came back to get something."
Then, she quickly walked off with her head down.
The next day.
Dahlia didn’t return all night. When Sebastian went downstairs, he didn’t see her and asked, "Where’s the madam?"
Mrs. Langley came out with breakfast and voiced her doubts: "Madam went out last night, but Master Blackwood, last night was really strange. I saw the madam three times, going in and out. If I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes, I’d suspect there were two madams in the house."
Mrs. Langley meant no harm, but unexpectedly, upon hearing this, Sebastian’s calm eyes suddenly stirred up a storm.
Two madams?
Recalling the feeling from last night, Sebastian lowered his eyes and let out a meaningful cold laugh.
Back in the old house, Ivy finally breathed a sigh of relief.
Thinking that last night, she might have muddled through, right?
"Ding—"
A message arrived on her phone: "Your registration qualification has been reevaluated. Please attend the competition as scheduled."
Luckily, she could participate in this competition smoothly. Otherwise, yesterday’s risk would have been for nothing.
Thoughtfully, Ivy glanced at the jade bracelet on her hand, feeling a second of headache.
What should she do with this jade bracelet?
After thinking for a while, Ivy found a box to put the jade bracelet in. When the time was right, she would return it to Dahlia.
Soon.
The herbal medicine competition began as scheduled.
Celia Spence saw Ivy enter the competition, and she was so mad that she could grit her teeth: "You must have used some unscrupulous means. Otherwise, how could you re-enter the competition?"
