One Night Bride: Master Blackwood's Substitute Wife
Chapter 42: Master Blackwood Invites Dahlia Kensington to Sleep Together
CHAPTER 42: CHAPTER 42: MASTER BLACKWOOD INVITES DAHLIA KENSINGTON TO SLEEP TOGETHER
The figures of the little boy’s family quickly disappeared.
"Alone here?"
Facing Ronnie, Sebastian Blackwood quickly softened his imposing demeanor, and even his voice subconsciously became gentler.
Ronnie shook his head: "No, Mommy is here too."
Sebastian scanned the area but didn’t see Ivy Kensington, and his brows furrowed tightly.
This woman is really irresponsible. If it weren’t for his coincidental dinner nearby tonight, Ronnie would surely have been bullied.
At that moment, Ivy returned.
"Mommy!"
Ronnie happily waved at her.
Ivy, carrying a big box of egg tarts, ran over. Caught off guard, she saw Sebastian and paused: "You’re here too?"
Sebastian gave her a cold glance, "I think you need to learn how to be a good mother."
With those words, Ivy instinctively looked at Ronnie. Did something happen to the little guy?
Ronnie, feeling troubled, squeezed his little hands. Everything was fine, so why was Daddy being mean to Mommy? Mommy treated him very well.
So he tugged at Sebastian’s ear, fiercely and childishly saying, "Daddy, apologize to Mommy, don’t be mean to her."
Sebastian’s dark eyes showed surprise. Was Ronnie actually siding with Ivy? He felt a bit jealous for a moment.
"Hurry up."
Ronnie urged.
Ivy only felt nervous. Ronnie actually dared to tug Sebastian’s ear, it was simply... unimaginable.
Just as she was about to hold Ronnie, Sebastian suddenly said, "Why did you refuse Blackwood Group’s endorsement?"
Almost instantly, Ivy replied, "Weren’t you the one who canceled my competition qualification? You don’t want me to compete, so you definitely don’t want me to collaborate with Blackwood Group."
As soon as she said it, Ivy regretted it.
Regarding Sebastian canceling her competition qualification, he only told the "Dahlia Kensington" she pretended to be yesterday!
Sure enough, the man looked at her with suspicion: "How did you know?"
Ivy hastily said, "I... I heard it from someone."
Then, quickly scooped up Ronnie and ran away, secretly praying that he wouldn’t overthink...
As Sebastian stared at the fleeing back of the woman fleeing in panic, his gaze deepened, yet the corners of his lips curled into a playful smile.
Blackwood family.
When Dahlia Kensington returned, she immediately threw a huge tantrum.
It’s all Celia Spence’s fault, that idiot. Now her reputation is tarnished too!
"I’m furious, I absolutely won’t let this go easily."
Just as Dahlia was about to smash things to vent, Sebastian suddenly returned.
The man walked over to her, his deep eyes fixed on her, and suddenly said, "Dahlia, let’s sleep together tonight."
What?
Usually, if Dahlia heard this, she would be over the moon, but she had been out playing all night yesterday, and there were marks all over her that couldn’t be shown. As soon as she took off her clothes, everything would be exposed!
Dahlia postponed, "Sebastian, I’m not feeling well..."
Sebastian frowned unhappily, "Are you rejecting me?"
"Of course not," Dahlia quickly explained: "How could I refuse you? It’s just... I’m not prepared yet."
Hearing this, Sebastian nodded, taking long strides towards the bathroom, whispering, "I’ll take a shower first, you go prepare."
The tall figure of the man disappeared from view, and Dahlia felt like she was about to explode.
How could she have known that Sebastian, who usually showed no interest in her, would take the initiative to invite her tonight? If she had known this, she wouldn’t have gone out last night!
Dahlia was so annoyed, she didn’t know what to do. After thinking for a while, she could only call Anne Linden: "Mom, hurry and save me..."
Upon hearing Dahlia’s words, Anne scolded angrily and without restraint: "You’ve married into the Blackwood family and you’re still messing around, you’re really going to infuriate me."
However, no matter how angry she was, Dahlia was still her daughter, and the reputation of being Mrs. Blackwood couldn’t be tarnished.
The only way now was...
