One Piece: Killing Devour
Chapter 68 68: Killing Three People!
Lance had never come here to play.
If he wanted to dominate the world, as Monet had said, he would need unimaginable wealth—enough for the entire world to yield before him.
He hadn't thought much about what to do with such money—buy ships? Recruit followers? Hire assassins?
But when he heard of Tesoro's Golden City, he decided to see the greatest entertainment paradise in the world for himself—and at the same time seize its enormous fortune.
So far, the plan was going smoothly. After humiliating Tesoro, everything was falling back into place.
"All belongs to you?"
"Where does this arrogant brat come from? Such audacity!"
"Every year, I meet countless men who think they're powerful, just like you. And they all share the same fate—death!"
Tesoro sneered, sparks flashing from his hand. With a wave, one of the golden statues coiled around a pillar transformed into a living golden dragon, jaws opening wide to tear Lance apart.
As the casino turned battlefield, the surrounding guests retreated in panic.
"Pathetic strength."
Lance stood still, showing no intention of resisting.
But he didn't need to move—his IBM did it for him.
One rushed forward, its razor claws clashing with the golden dragon.
Having devoured Jack the Drought and Cracker, Lance's IBM had long since surpassed their old limits. A single golden dragon stood no chance. After a few brutal exchanges, the dragon was crushed beneath its claws, beaten mercilessly.
"What are these monsters?!"
Tesoro's eyes widened. He had seen countless powerful foes in the New World, but never such eerie creatures—bandage-wrapped giants, wielding monstrous strength, obeying without question.
"Dice! Tanaka! Baccarat! Kill those three women first!"
Tesoro decided to target Lance's companions, hoping to distract him and create an opening.
"Yes, Lord Tesoro!"
Baccarat tore off her gloves, heading toward the crowd to siphon their luck.
Her Devil Fruit didn't just strip others of fortune—she could steal it for herself. With enough luck, she would become truly invincible, able to win even with a single coin toss.
But she had barely taken a few steps when—
Splurt!
Blood sprayed.
Baccarat's eyes widened as five bloody holes appeared across her chest. Staring down at her pierced heart, the light in her eyes faded. Her body collapsed heavily to the floor.
On the other side, Tanaka emerged from the wall, gun raised, aiming at Rebecca—the youngest of the three, the easiest to kill.
But before he could pull the trigger, a massive hand seized his oversized head and ripped him out of the wall.
Splurt!
Five bloody holes appeared across his skull. His head shattered, life ending instantly.
Two of Tesoro's most important subordinates were slaughtered in an instant, too fast for even Tesoro to react.
Only Dice remained, surrounded by five IBM.
"You want to fight me?"
"Then come! Let's see!"
Dice roared, his entire body coated in Armament Haki until his skin turned jet black like steel.
The five IBM showed no hesitation, slashing into him with relentless claws.
Even with his immense endurance and hardened Haki, Dice could not withstand beings strong enough to battle Jack. His flesh tore under the ferocity of their blows.
Blood flew everywhere. In moments, his body was covered in crisscrossing wounds.
"Hahaha! Yes! This feels good! Keep going!"
Even covered in gore, Dice laughed like a madman, savoring the pain.
"Enjoying yourself?"
"Then I'll double it."
Lance smirked.
In an instant, five more IBM appeared, doubling the assault to ten.
Dice's face changed instantly.
Now it was no longer about wounds—it was butchery. Ten IBM carved his flesh apart, reducing him toward pulp.
Finally, Dice broke.
"No! No! Lord Tesoro, save me!!!"
"Dice!"
Tesoro shouted, about to move—
But Lance stopped him cold.
"Tesoro, do you really have time to worry about others?"
"Better focus on your own life first."
Tesoro looked up—and his pupils shrank.
From above, a towering soldier of hardened biscuits, armored and shielded, descended with sword raised. A recreated Biscuit Soldier—Cracker's power, now under Lance's control.
"What—what is this?!"
Tesoro threw up a golden shield in panic.
But Cracker's constructs had once contended with Yonko commanders, and Lance's control surpassed the original's. The sword tore through the shield like paper, splitting it apart.
"No!!"
At that moment, Dice's final scream tore through the air—his head severed, his life extinguished.
All three of Tesoro's subordinates lay dead. None survived.
