Once he faced decline, with no one to succeed him, his capture was already a foregone conclusion.

Of the remaining four emperors, only Big Mom was not striving for more. She proclaimed she wanted to be the Pirate King—yet she spent her time eating and giving birth. Faced with the unavoidable impact of the new era's tide, how could she maintain her position?

"Perfect! I also want to have a good 'Discussion' with you about the ownership of the territories left by Roger and the Golden Lion," Arthur said with a meaningful tone.

"There's no way we're leaving the territory we can't occupy to that bunch of idiots playing a pirate game, but... before that!" Kaido twisted his neck, his gaze locked on Arthur. His aura flared, and he launched an attack without any warning.

"LET ME SEE WHAT GIVES YOU THE RIGHT TO SIT AT THE SAME TABLE AS US, THUNDER EMPEROR!!"

Kaido roared in anger. The massive muscles of his huge arm trembled, and under the surge of his power, steel-like veins bulged.

Even a fool could see how strong Kaido was!

His anger at being ignored by Arthur made him unleash his full power. His furious roar was earth-shattering. With a single shout, the sky trembled violently, the clouds were roared apart, and the sea churned.

"BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!"

The air in front of his fist had no time to disperse and was instantly blown apart. In terms of pure physical strength, Kaido was undoubtedly number one on the seas.

Neither Whitebeard, the Red Count, Garp, nor Fleet Admiral Kong could compare to him.

Such a terrifying physique... no one knew how it had been achieved.

Perhaps it was a racial advantage, perhaps his Azure Dragon Fruit, perhaps a special modification? Or was it a mutation like Big Mom's? At present, no one on the seas knew.

The surging, immense force was unstoppable. A white trail was left in the air where it had been blown apart, creating ripples.

The fist slammed down, aimed at the levitating [Thor]. If it wasn't blocked, the golden ship would undoubtedly be smashed to pieces by this single blow.

Although he knew Kaido was insane, Arthur really hadn't expected him to attack so directly.

"What a mad dog..."

Arthur was indifferent, purple lightning erupting from his pupils. His entire body was instantly surrounded by lightning. His powerful physique vibrated with a terrifying ripple, and his invincible might was displayed to its fullest.

To be targeted by someone like Kaido was an extremely annoying thing. This mad dog would bite down on you and not let go, just like how he challenged Whitebeard, coming to find trouble time and time again.

The terrifying strikes of the two clashed in mid-air, actually producing the sound of metal striking metal.

In that instant, the reefs of Wheat Island near the sea were instantly shattered. The powerful aftershock continued to spread towards the sea.

Big Mom sat on a huge chair on her singing ship, eating sweets and watching the battle, surrounded by her children.

Perhaps she was stimulated by the scene, because she seemed silent, her eating speed growing faster and faster.

The bodies of both Arthur and Kaido were of a monstrous level, so strong it was incredible. Their every move had the power to move mountains and break peaks.

But, just a year or two ago, when Arthur had fought her, his physical strength alone was not as good as hers.

The two who had officially begun their clash had no regard for what Big Mom was thinking.

After the long-range clash, Arthur switched from passive to active. A murderous intent flashed in his eyes as he leaped from the [Thor], carrying the force of a falling mountain. His entire body's strength was gathered in his elbow, and in a lightning-driven burst of speed, he slammed it down.

This all-out strike was aimed directly at Kaido's horned head!

His undisguised killing intent pushed this strike to its absolute limit. Just as he had said, he wanted to test if Kaido could survive such a heavy blow to the brain.
