CHAPTER 77: CHAPTER 77: WHAT KIND OF TRASH DARES TO ENTER THE GRAND LINE AT THE SAME TIME AS ME

After dealing with those rude pirates, Will swiftly descended back onto the ship, landing steadily. His emotions settled into calm, and he spoke in an indifferent tone, "What kind of trash dares to enter the Grand Line at the same time as me?"

At that moment, the ship’s violent rocking left Nami with no energy to question what had just happened. She shouted urgently, "Will, you don’t need to steer anymore! The canal’s current has locked the ship’s course. Hurry and grab something nearby!"

"The current’s too fast! When we plunge downward, someone could get thrown off!"

"Don’t worry," Will replied, unfazed. His legs seemed rooted to the deck, standing as steady as ever. "You two just hold on tight. With me here, you don’t need to worry about safety."

Hearing this, Nami and Carina felt a bit more at ease, though they still clung nervously to the nearest fixed objects.

Whoosh!

As the ship accelerated down the current, it shot forward like an arrow, so fast it felt like it might take flight.

But then, something caught Carina’s eye as she clutched the ship’s railing. Her face filled with terror, she screamed, "Oh my God! What is that?!"

Nami immediately looked up, her pupils contracting sharply. "That’s...?!"

At the canal’s exit, a massive shadow emerged from the water, its enormous size almost completely blocking the outlet.

Carina, now realizing what it was, stared in shock, her voice trembling with disbelief. "Is that... a whale?!"

"Huh?!"

Nami’s face had gone pale, her mind racing with no idea how to handle this.

"Don’t worry. Leave it to me," Will said calmly. Standing at the bow, he gazed ahead, not a trace of panic on his face.

"Laboon, the whale..."

Looking at the gigantic whale blocking the canal’s exit, Will muttered to himself with a hint of sentiment. Without hesitation, his eyes flashed with two streaks of red light.

Buzz!

A tremendous, overwhelming aura surged forward, enveloping the massive whale entirely.

Laboon, who had been about to open its giant mouth to swallow seawater as usual, froze in place. Its enormous eyes, tinged with a trace of sorrow, suddenly shrank, trembling violently.

In that moment, Laboon felt as if it had been sucked into a colossal underwater vortex, its terrifying force threatening to tear it apart at any second.

Boom!

Laboon’s eyes rolled back, its half-open mouth slackening as it tipped sideways, crashing into the sea with a deafening roar. The impact sent a massive spray of seawater into the air, creating waves over ten meters high that surged outward before gradually calming.

Inside the whale’s belly, Crocus, who had been carrying a giant syringe while walking through an artificial passage, suddenly froze, sensing something. Turning sharply toward a certain direction, a bead of cold sweat slid down his forehead.

"Conqueror’s Haki?!"

"It seems another incredible figure has entered the Grand Line..."

Then, he noticed the passage beginning to tilt rapidly. Dropping the syringe, he sprinted toward the exit. "Not good! Laboon’s been knocked out by that guy’s Haki!"

Outside the whale, Will ceased releasing his Haki the moment Laboon collapsed. The ship sailed smoothly onward, entering the Grand Line.

As the trio stood on deck, gazing at the enormous figure lying in the water nearby, they realized the whale’s size was even more staggering up close than it had seemed from a distance.

Suddenly, Will’s eyes flickered, and he looked up toward the whale’s upper body. At a certain spot on its skin, a hidden panel was pushed open from the inside.

Crocus climbed out quickly, and as soon as he stood, he noticed the unfamiliar ship below. When his bespectacled eyes caught sight of the tall man on deck, he muttered in surprise, "That kid... isn’t he the guy from the newspapers?"

"So that Conqueror’s Haki just now came from him."

Having recently seen the man’s face in print, Crocus was certain he wasn’t mistaken. Recalling that Buggy had survived an encounter with this man, his wariness eased slightly.

"Hey! It’s not convenient to talk here! Head to the Twin Cape and wait for me!" Crocus shouted, pointing toward a lighthouse on the rocky shore nearby. Then he dove back into the passage, closing the panel behind him.

"Huh?!"

Nami snapped out of her daze, her expression one of utter shock. "There’s a person living inside that whale’s body?!"

"And an old man, at that," Carina added, equally puzzled.

"Don’t mind him," Will said calmly, offering no further explanation. "Just do what the old man said and sail the ship to the lighthouse."

Nami nodded, calming slightly. "Alright. We might as well try to get some information about the Grand Line from him."

Just then, Will’s gaze sharpened, and he turned to look at the water near the whale’s belly, as if he’d noticed something. Seeming to recall something, he said to the two women, "You two go ahead. I’ve got something to take care of."

With that, he leaped into the air, shooting toward the spot he’d been eyeing.

"What’s he... found?" Carina wondered aloud, thoughtful.

Nami, already over it, turned toward the helm with a relaxed smile. "Don’t worry about him. Let’s just get the ship over there."

"Got it," Carina replied with a nod, setting aside her curiosity and focusing on her tasks.

Not long after, Crocus emerged from Laboon’s half-open mouth in a small boat, rowing to the lighthouse and stepping ashore. At the same time, Will flew back from the sea, holding a person in each hand.

Nami and Carina, seeing this, hurriedly followed him onto the shore. Looking at the man and woman Will had casually tossed to the ground, Nami stepped closer, inspecting them curiously. "Who are these two?"

Before Will could answer, Crocus spoke up. "Those two are from a nearby town. They’ve come here a few times, sneaking into Laboon’s body to try to take me out so they could hunt him down."
