With a slow, almost solemn motion, he pushed it forward.

"Ursus Shock."

The miniature paw print floated downward toward the warships below. Despite its harmless appearance and slow descent, those familiar with Kuma's attacks—especially the Navy's upper brass—knew the destruction it heralded.

Chiga reacted instantly. His Rinnegan lit with intense violet brilliance. A giant semi-circular Shinra Tensei surged outward, enveloping the fleet.

The Ursus Shock was repelled the moment it touched the edge of the barrier and rebounded with terrifying speed—smashing into the rock wall of the Red Line.

Boom!

A paw-shaped shockwave burst across the Red Line. The entire continent-like landmass shuddered from the impact.

Below, on the fleet, Navy soldiers watched in silent fury. They had been sent to investigate the deaths of twenty Celestial Dragons—only to be attacked by the very government they served.

The betrayal sparked bitter anger among many high-ranking officers. Akainu, in particular, seethed. With narrowed eyes, he tilted his cap brim, staring at the high figures standing on the Red Line.

He remembered the days when Fleet Admiral Sengoku was forced to comply with every ridiculous order from the World Government. Though Akainu despised their control, he obeyed—because obedience was a soldier's duty.

But then came Uchiha Chiga, the new Fleet Admiral. Under Chiga's leadership, the Navy regained its honor. He challenged the Four Emperors directly and ignored the idiocy of the World Government's decrees. The Navy had finally stood tall once more.

And now… the World Government dared to attack them?

Akainu's fists turned into blazing magma, bubbling with wrath. Nearby soldiers instinctively backed away. Someone hesitated, nervously calling out,

"Admiral Akainu…"

But Akainu didn't speak. Step by heavy step, he approached the bow of the lead ship. His magma arms raised toward the sky.

"Meteor Volcano!!!"

Rivers of molten magma blasted into the heavens, turning the clouds a glowing red. Moments later, they came crashing down in a rain of fiery meteors—aimed directly at Mary Geoise.

Panic erupted among the Cipher pols. One of the Five Elders, the flat-hatted one, roared in disbelief,

"Sakazuki! Even you—"

Before he could finish, a massive chunk of magma hurtled toward him. He swallowed his words and shattered the lava with a punch.

Strong fighters hidden within Mary Geoise acted swiftly, destroying the falling firestorm before it could turn the city into a sea of flames.

But before anyone could breathe, a terrified voice cried out, pointing skyward,

"It's Purple Kirin!!!"

Chiga floated above Mary Geoise, his Rinnegan glowing with cold indifference. He looked down upon them like ants.

The flat-hat Elder tried to feign calm as he scolded,

"Uchiha Chiga! What is the meaning of this?! Do you plan to turn the Navy against the World Government?!"

Chiga's lips curled into a mocking smile. He raised one hand and activated Almighty Pull.

In a blink, the flat-hat Elder was yanked into the sky, dragged before Chiga like a puppet. Chiga seized him by the throat with one hand—effortlessly.

As the Elder stared at him in terror, Chiga spoke in a calm, cutting voice:

"You seem to be mistaken. It's not the Navy that betrayed the World Government…"

He squeezed.

"…It's the World Government that betrayed the Navy."

Crack!

The Elder's neck twisted grotesquely. His lifeless body, still wearing an expression of disbelief, fell to the ground like refuse, crashing into the polished streets of Mary Geoise.

A suffocating silence engulfed the world.

The Navy… had just watched its Fleet Admiral kill one of the Five Elders, the supposed rulers of the world.

Even Akainu stood frozen. He muttered the words Chiga had just spoken—almost in awe.

"It's not the Navy that betrayed the World Government... but the World Government that betrayed the Navy…"

And then others repeated it. Slowly at first, but growing louder and louder—until it became a thunderous, deafening chorus:

"The betrayers are not the Navy! It is you!!!"

Two of the remaining Elders—one with a long beard and the other with a birthmark—stepped back instinctively, shaken to the core.

The obedient guard dogs they once controlled had turned into roaring lions.

The Elder in a kimono adjusted his glasses and finally asked, his voice steady yet tinged with dread,

"So… what do you intend to do now, Uchiha Chiga?"

All eyes looked skyward.

The people of Mary Geoise stared in fear.

The Navy stared in awe.

Beside Chiga, a Truth-Seeking orb formed and transformed into a long, black staff. He gripped it, floating like a deity.

From the streets of Mary Geoise, the Celestial Dragons who once ruled over all now cowered, their heads bowed, unable to even meet his gaze.

Chiga swept the area with a glance, using the Heavenly Netb(His advanced form of Observation Haki) to search for Nerona's original residence—but it was empty. It had already been dealt with by the flat-hat Elder. That simplified things.

He no longer needed to hold back.

With a single tap of his staff into the air, transparent shockwaves rippled outward.
