One Piece: With Ryujin Jakka
Chapter 255 255
"Then it's decided. White Dove Ryuya will be the new Fleet Admiral!"
The Gorosei, gathered in Mary Geoise, swiftly decided Ryuya's fate.
Ryuya hadn't even needed to lift a finger; events unfolded precisely as he'd anticipated.
In his room, Ryuya received the Gorosei's order.
He paused momentarily before regaining his composure.
"So, they actually made that decision," he murmured.
Informing the women in his room, he said, "Wait for me, I need to go out."
He left the room, encountering Sengoku just as he entered.
The now-white-haired Sengoku looked at Ryuya with relief.
"Ryuya, it was fate that someone as strong as you appeared in the Marines. Only you can confront the Dawn Bird leader!"
Tears welled in Sengoku's eyes.
Ryuya smiled slightly. "Fleet Admiral Sengoku, believe me, the sea will be calm soon."
Sengoku nodded, clapping Ryuya on the shoulder. "The Marines are in your hands now."
Ryuya nodded and headed to Sengoku's office—or rather, his office now.
He sat down, a smirk playing on his lips.
He picked up his Den Den Mushi.
"Prepare the Fleet Admiral inauguration ceremony. I want the entire world to know I am the Fleet Admiral!"
The news spread like wildfire, causing unprecedented upheaval across the Grand Line.
No one expected Sengoku's resignation, especially with no prior warning.
Aboard Whitebeard's ship, Marco read the news. "Old Man, White Dove's the Fleet Admiral! Unbelievable!"
Whitebeard gazed at the sky, a heavy feeling in his heart. "The sea… it's going to be chaotic."
Even Kaido felt a headache coming on.
They weren't afraid of Sengoku, but Ryuya was a different matter entirely.
Shanks also saw the news. He frowned.
"If White Dove Ryuya becomes Fleet Admiral, Luffy's dream will be much harder to achieve."
Usopp's father approached Shanks. "I hope my son becomes a true warrior of the sea. That would be good for Luffy too."
Shanks nodded.
Meanwhile, at the Dawn Birds' base, Katakuri approached Zero (Ryuya's illusion).
"Leader, White Dove Ryuya is the new Admiral. This…"
"It changes nothing," Ryuya said calmly. "Focus on expanding your forces."
"Leader, aren't you worried about us plotting something?"
"Not at all. I trust you." Ryuya dismissed Katakuri. "I trusted you from the start. You may leave."
Katakuri was moved by Zero's trust.
This man, who could accept former enemies, possessed an immense heart.
Katakuri bowed and left.
As he did, Perona emerged from behind Zero.
"Perona, I leave the rest to you.
When the opportunity arises, alter their memories."
Perona's eyes gleamed with fanatic devotion.
She saw Ryuya as a god.
"Yes, Leader. I won't disappoint you."
Ryuya said, "If you encounter strong opponents, let me know. I'll help."
He then fell silent, seemingly asleep.
Fear gripped the Grand Line.
White Dove Ryuya's appointment as Admiral was seen as a disaster.
They feared his actions as the new Fleet Admiral.
One day, Ryuya stood atop Marineford, where Sengoku once stood, addressing the soldiers.
"I am your Fleet Admiral. I won't dwell on that."
"The Admiral position remains open. I propose promoting Tsuru to Admiral. Any objections?"
The Marines were silent.
They dared not object to the new Fleet Admiral, especially given his achievements and the respect he commanded within the Marines.
