Soon after closing the chat with Brother Nan Qiang, Wan’er’s cheerful voice sounded from behind him.

“Little Brother Su, why are you here alone? Not going to the Ice Hell?”

“The business at the Ice Hell is done. I’m planning to take on a quest in the Demon Realm.”

Su Ran looked around before chuckling wryly, “Sister Xiaosheng, could you stop shouting my name in the game? Aren’t you already exposing my identity quickly enough?”

“Look at you being scared. There’s no one else around here!”

Wan’er walked over, curiously asked, “So, did you solve that NPC problem? What word did the riddle end up being?”

“It’s the word ‘one’.”

Su Ran recounted the riddle-solving process with a smile, “I managed to take down Mengsini, that’s the biggest gain in the Ice Hell!”

“So it’s ‘One creates all’. Overturning Water, I knew you could do it!”

Wan’er’s eyes shone with excitement, “Congratulations on recruiting another general, your territory is getting stronger!”

“It’s still far from competing with the Imperial City.”

With the fire mage leading, the group moved underneath Zombie Resurrection.

“Friend, need help?”

The fire mage spoke first, putting on a harmless facade.

“Who are you guys?”

Zombie Resurrection looked at the players warily, feeling somehow that they had a deceptive air—particularly this fire mage, who felt especially threatening.

“I’m Beidou Star, president of the Starry Guild.”

Beidou Star looked at Zombie Resurrection with a smile that didn’t reach his eyes, “May I ask your name and where you are based, friend?”

“Zombie Resurrection, just a nobody, no need to trouble yourself, President.”

“Oh, don’t be rude! President Beidou talks to you nicely, and you should appreciate it. Don’t get ahead of yourself!”

“Look at your gear, not a single valuable piece, why the act?”
