"Is that so?" Johnnie didn’t believe it. He focused and activated his Ashen Sword Domain.

The Intent of the Sword hummed, filling the air with sword light and Fire-Elemental power. The attack was strong, but it was still suppressed by the Water and Fire Intertwined Domain.

"Hm? Another dual-element Domain?" The Slime leader noticed Johnnie’s Domain and looked a little surprised.

"In that case, I really can’t let you live. Die!" it said coldly. Waves surged beneath their feet, and a rain of fiery meteors fell from the sky, bombarding them like crazy.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Thunderous explosions shook the area as terrifying energy crashed around them.

Even with Maiev’s protection, Johnnie was killed instantly, only to revive again on the spot.

"We need to break out!" Nalorin·Sylvia shouted. She released her own Domain—an ice and snow Domain—that barely held back the raging ocean and falling meteors.

"Hmph, it’s pointless." The Slime leader scoffed. A massive wave rose up, blocking out the sky as it crashed down on them.

With a deafening crash, everyone was slammed into the ocean below.

Johnnie was instantly killed again.

Maiev and Nalorin·Sylvia weren’t doing much better—both of them were injured now.

Inside this Water and Fire Intertwined Domain, they simply weren’t a match for the enemy.

Above them, countless fiery meteors kept falling, smashing down on the group without mercy.

Johnnie’s Ashen Sword Domain barely held up, but his Mana was draining so fast he wouldn’t last much longer.

The sea roared, and half the Mechanical Golems were smashed, but more than five thousand survived without a scratch, still blocking the Rain of Fire and the waves for Johnnie.

Johnnie saw his chance. The Seven Sword flashed as he kept attacking like crazy.

But another water shield appeared. The Seven Sword still couldn’t break through.

"Human, these Mechanical Golems can’t recover forever, right? Let’s see how long you can keep this up." The Slime leader ignored Johnnie’s attacks and focused on smashing the Golems.

It guessed right—Mechanical Golems couldn’t recover endlessly. Every time they repaired, it used up a lot of energy.

The more damage they took, the more energy it cost. If the energy ran out, they couldn’t repair anymore.

"Damn it!" Johnnie was frustrated. The Seven Sword just made ripples on the water shield and couldn’t threaten the Slime leader at all.

He could hide inside the Map of Heaven and Earth, but he finally met a Divine powerhouse—he didn’t want to give up now.

If only he still had Skye’s shield!

Johnnie thought of the shield he lost in spatial turbulence. If he had it, he could kill the Slime leader in one hit.

"Where did this godhood heavenly tribulation come from?" The Slime leader looked up, puzzled.

But Johnnie realized what was happening. He had stopped holding back his power, letting it go past stage 9 and peak legend level, so he triggered the heavenly tribulation.

He wondered—could the heavenly tribulation kill the Slime leader?

A crazy idea flashed in Johnnie’s mind.

He could use the heavenly tribulation to strike the Slime leader!

A lightning bolt thick as a tree trunk tore through the sky and struck down. The Slime leader was hit first.

It tried to block with a Water Shield.

With a deafening crash, the Water Shield shattered instantly. The tribulation lightning didn’t slow down at all and smashed down hard.

Pfft!

Blood sprayed everywhere. The Slime leader’s huge body crashed to the ground, charred all over, covered in terrible wounds, and thick, sticky blood oozed out.
