At the same time, he controlled the Seven Sword to keep up the assault. The real finisher wasn’t the Dark Golden Golems—it was the Seven Sword’s instant-kill effect.

The roaring didn’t stop. Dense beams kept slamming into the golem army, but they were unharmed.

"Damn it!" The Light-and-Dark Slime cursed. Its huge body bounced up as it drove the twin light-and-dark swords straight at Johnnie.

"Snotball, your opponent is us." Nalorin Sylvia said coldly. Snowflakes filled the air, and several razor-sharp streaks of sword light flashed in.

They hit, but didn’t hurt the slime at all.

"Understood." Nalorin Sylvia summoned the Stellar Sword and charged the Light-and-Dark Slime.

Maiev wasn’t to be outdone. The Dark-Moon longbow appeared in her hands, and a flurry of arrows flew.

"Hmph, know your place." The slime sneered as its body turned pitch-black, shifting into its dark form.

Arrows and sword strikes landed, but still barely scratched it.

In light form, it shrugs off energy damage. In dark form, its physical defense soars. They still couldn’t deal real damage.

Johnnie’s attacks couldn’t even break its defense.

"Such a headache." Maiev muttered, frowning. "Sylvia, you do physical. I’ll do energy."

The Light-and-Dark Slime was strong, but it had a weakness: it couldn’t hold both forms at once.

"Okay!" Nalorin Sylvia drove her sword in a wild assault.

Maiev flicked her fingers; the bowstring thrummed. The Dark-Moon effect triggered, and arrows filled the sky.

"Useless. You can’t threaten me." the slime leader scoffed. The light and dark power around it kept switching, completely blocking the two women’s attacks.

Johnnie’s Seven Sword still couldn’t deal any damage.

This thing was even stronger than the Water-and-Fire Slime.

"Damn it. I don’t believe you’re invincible. Astral Sword Domain!" Nalorin Sylvia shouted and unleashed the Domain tied to the Stellar Sword—the Astral Sword Domain.

Stars lit the sky. Countless strands of starlight gathered, turning into cold gleams that rained down.

"That’s an indiscriminate attack Domain!" Johnnie’s face changed. He quickly pulled Benz and the others into the Map of Heaven and Earth and fell back fast.

Johnnie tasted blood. A thin line ran from the corner of his mouth as sharp pain stabbed through his head.

Soul backlash! The slime’s soul strength was far above his.

"You actually know soul skills too!" the Light-and-Dark Slime was surprised. Johnnie was hurt, but he had stopped the attack.

It tried to launch another soul strike to erase Johnnie, but it was too late.

Above, the clouds boiled. A bolt of tribulation lightning had already formed.
