CHAPTER 298: CHAPTER 298: SLAYING THE CELESTIAL DRAGONS, THE MIGHTY LAKE OF WATER

"Master, their soul power just went up." The Red Carp sensed changes in the two Celestial Dragons and cried out.

Johnnie was surprised too. The bone dragon’s divine soul could actually boost a Celestial Dragon’s soul power.

"Who’s there?" With an angry shout, the two Celestial Dragons spotted Johnnie and the others.

"Humans... and a dragon?" The red Celestial Dragon sensed The Red Carp’s aura and said coldly."How can a dragon side with humans? Follow us, and we’ll make you stronger."

"No thanks." The Red Carp said with disdain."With my Master, I can grow just as well."

"Master?" The red Celestial Dragon’s huge eyes flickered. It swept a cold gaze over Johnnie and Nalorin Sylvia and said."How can a dragon recognize lowly humans as its masters? I’ll set you free."

As soon as it spoke, the two Celestial Dragons lunged at Johnnie and Nalorin Sylvia.

Whoever her master was, if they killed these humans, The Red Carp would be free.

Whoosh!

Flames surged and wild winds roared.

One dragon was red, the other blue-green. They commanded the laws of fire and wind. Fire fed on the wind.

Its power soaring, and in a blink it swallowed Johnnie and Nalorin Sylvia.

Buzz!

Golden light flashed as Johnnie used Vajra Indestructibility, not afraid of the flames at all.

"Hmph. Know your place." He scoffed. These two Celestial Dragons were only at the Half-God level—nowhere near his match.

His Sword Intent hummed. With a flash of cold light, the Seven Sword roared out.

Nalorin Sylvia moved without hesitation. Snow filled the sky, easily suppressing the two Celestial Dragons.

Crack!

With a thunderous boom, a bolt of purple lightning crashed down.

"Roar!" The red Celestial Dragon howled in pain, disbelief on its face. "The power of Heavenly Tribulation? How is that possible!"

Heavenly Tribulation is a special law of Heaven. Even divine experts can’t grasp it, let alone a weak human.

"Die." Johnnie couldn’t be bothered to talk. He drove the Seven Sword into a furious assault. Thunder and lightning raged in the mist, and purple bolts kept slamming down.

The two Celestial Dragons were in agony. Heavenly Tribulation shattered their scales, and then the Seven Sword struck, applying poison.

Huge damage numbers flashed above their heads, and panic filled their eyes.

"Despicable human! You used poison!" the red Celestial Dragon cried, trying its best to suppress it—but it did nothing.

"Spring Breeze!" With an angry shout, a light wind stirred and a green glow wrapped around them. The two Celestial Dragons’ Health points shot back up.

It was the blue-green Celestial Dragon—it had a healing skill.

But the poison still wouldn’t clear, and their Health points kept dropping.

And Johnnie didn’t let up. The Seven Sword flashed, and Heavenly Tribulation kept crashing down. The two Celestial Dragons were miserable.

What scared them most was that Johnnie’s attacks made them feel true danger to their lives.

The Seven Sword had the power to instant kill them.

"We can’t win. Retreat!" The blue-green Celestial Dragon didn’t dare keep fighting. It warned the other and they split, fleeing in different directions.

"Trying to run?" Johnnie sneered. "Sylvia, hold the red one. I’ll finish this guy first."

The blue-green Celestial Dragon wielded wind laws and was incredibly fast. If he didn’t go all out, it might escape.

"Got it!" Nalorin Sylvia answered. She unleashed ice and snow, wrapping the red Celestial Dragon.

Ice and snow counter the fire element. She might not be able to kill the red Celestial Dragon, but keeping it pinned was easy.

Demon Wings spread from Johnnie’s back. He shot forward and caught up to the blue-green Celestial Dragon in a blink.

Buzz!

Sword Intent hummed. Hundreds of cold flashes slanted down.

It was the Myriad Sword Technique!

Even though mental power was heavily suppressed here and its strength was reduced, it was still deadly. Worse, dozens of Heavenly Tribulation strikes were woven into it.

"Damn it!" The blue-green Celestial Dragon felt a huge crisis bearing down on it and panicked. "Human, even if I die, I won’t let you off. Hurricane!"

With a roar, it coiled its massive body and turned into a giant tornado, sweeping toward Johnnie.

The gale howled. Sand and stones were sucked in and shredded in an instant.

Johnnie looked a bit grim. He didn’t dare take it head-on, so he flashed back while steering the Seven Sword to keep attacking.

The hurricane was strong. The Seven Sword got sucked in and was hard to control.

Even so, lightning kept falling from above, pounding the storm.

Several bolts of Heavenly Tribulation crashed down in a row. The gale blew apart, and the blue-green Celestial Dragon showed itself, blood running from its nose and mouth, slamming into the ground.

But he wasn’t completely without gains. Killing the Celestial Dragon dropped a divine essence, a piece of dragon scale, and a Dragon Pearl.

Johnnie examined them with curiosity.

"Relax, you’ll be next." Johnnie said coldly. He used the Myriad Sword Technique again, and hundreds of sword beams rained down.

"Damn it!" the red Celestial Dragon cried in panic. It couldn’t escape anymore. It gathered fire-element power around its body, forming a shield of flames to block the attack.

Crack!

But a flash of purple lightning struck, instantly breaking the shield.

"Human, you dare provoke the great dragon clan! You’ll die!" It roared and spat out a huge wave of black flames. The intense heat quickly cleared the surrounding mist.

Johnnie, however, showed no fear. Golden light shone around him, and he didn’t even move.

Boom!

The black flames swallowed him whole, and his soul felt a sharp pain.

This fire had a soul attack. But its power was nothing to him.

"Die!" Johnnie shouted coldly, and he launched a fierce attack with the Seven Sword and the Myriad Sword Technique.

Boom, boom...

Sword beams flashed, lightning flashed, and the red Celestial Dragon’s health dropped rapidly. It had no chance to fight back and was instantly destroyed.

"Master, there’s a pool of water here!" The Red Carp’s surprised voice came from the mist.

Johnnie picked up the skeleton dragon’s body and walked through the mist. He saw the pool of water, sure enough.

The surface was covered with thick mist, and it seemed the mist all around came from this pool.

"Such strong dragon power." Nalorin Sylvia said, surprised.

She wasn’t a dragon warrior, nor did she have dragon blood, but she could still feel the dragon power in the water. That showed how strong it was.

Johnnie was cautious and stepped closer to check.

The Red Carp said."Master, I checked. There’s no other life here. It must have been where the skeleton dragon lived."

Johnnie didn’t notice anything unusual either. He asked."The Red Carp, does this water help you?"

The Red Carp nodded. "It helps, but it’s even better for your dragon egg."

My dragon egg?

Johnnie was speechless. But he wasn’t sure if he could leave his dragon egg here.

"Coco, can you take this pool of water?" he asked in his mind.

Soon, Coco’s voice came back. "No problem."
