Others Awaken SSS-Rank Classes, I Summon Calamities
Chapter 51: Complete Battle
CHAPTER 51: COMPLETE BATTLE
"Gathering something?" He turned to Jason.
"What could whoever is responsible possibly be gathering?"
The group fell silent at Arthur’s question with none of them able to answer him.
They glanced around, and Aella’s eyes flickered with curiosity.
Leaning to the side, Jason was also curious about it.
Unable to arrive at an appropriate reason, Arthur dropped the thought.
Just then, he noticed something through the corner of his eyes.
Immediately he looked in the direction and noticed it was a pair of eyes.
Arthur was shocked and instantly turned toward the silhouette.
The man seemed stunned to be caught and was just about to run away.
However, Arthur called out without hesitation:
"Nephis!"
The shadow servant who was resting beside him snapped her eyes in the direction of the man, and her figure blurred and flickered like a ghost.
In an instant she appeared in front of the man and a dagger swept forward toward his throat.
But the man was far from ordinary as well and immediately dodged the attack.
Nephis’ attack instantly became unpredictable as she hurled multiple daggers forward in his direction.
Due to the speed of the attack the man was unable to keep up with it, and before long one of the daggers pierced into his arm.
The force behind the dagger sent the man flying and crashing into a tree.
At this moment everyone’s expression had become alert as they stood up.
From Aella’s body a chill began to spread and Jason’s form changed drastically, uniquely transforming him due to his class.
Arthur also immediately summoned Titan like it was an instinctive act, and a sword appeared in his grasp as an expression of caution crossed his face.
Nephis was still engaged in a heated battle with the man when a few silhouettes surrounded them.
Shockingly the silhouettes numbered more than twenty and their forms flickered like ghosts.
The moment they appeared, with their ghastly movements they immediately lunged at Arthur and the remaining trio while three more went to join the man dealing with Nephis.
Then five each lunged themselves at Arthur and the group.
Titan’s eyes glinted with anger and without hesitation his sword descended like divine judgment as he aimed to claim the lives of the five silhouettes in one go.
However, the figures were too fast and Titan’s sword could only brush past them.
Feeling something heading for his precious bald head, Arthur immediately brandished his sword and his movements were like a blur as he struck the shadow.
Before the shadow could realise what was happening, Arthur’s sword was already at its neck.
The shadow seemed shocked by Arthur’s movement speed and immediately retreated, dodging Arthur’s lightning fast sword by a hair’s breadth.
Even Arthur was shocked by the speed and force behind his simple sword attack.
’I’m this strong?’ Arthur could hardly believe it since it had been a long time since he fought and his stats had increased by more than ten points each.
Arthur wasn’t given much time to ponder as the group of shadow figures surrounded him.
It seemed they could sense that Arthur’s strength was the lowest here so only three were assigned to him.
He grinned and straightened his sword stance.
"Bring it on, bitch!"
At Arthur’s words the three shadowy figures immediately lunged at him without hesitation, clearly agitated by his insult.
Arthur smirked through the corner of his lips and immediately slashed his blade forward, his movements swift and precise.
He poured all his strength into the attack causing a chill to spread across the surroundings.
Swish.
Immediately his sword seemed to cut through one of the blurry shadows, slicing it in two only for it to condense once more and materialise into another shadow form.
Arthur was bewildered but he didn’t have time to waste on the creature as he could feel the others on him.
Using his increased dexterity he leapt forward and dodged the claw heading straight for his heart.
The claw pierced the air and Arthur used the opening once more to attack.
Bang.
The creature didn’t hesitate to strike back as the three surrounded Arthur again.
Arthur was immediately in a struggle with the three creatures.
Despite his strength being greater than theirs, due to the fact that he couldn’t kill them they were able to maintain the advantage they had over him.
Although they too were unable to do anything to Arthur for now.
Beside Arthur a chill spread into the surroundings as Aella shot out multiple ice spikes heading straight for the shadow figures surrounding her.
The ice spikes weren’t much but within a few seconds they numbered more than thirty and were still increasing.
Swish. Swish.
Aella attacked with the spikes only to be left speechless when they pierced through the creatures and vanished into the distance.
She frowned briefly and waved her hand as a chill spread through the surroundings from her body.
The ice domain.
A few meters around her instantly became a world of ice and before the shadow figures could react they were frozen by the attack.
The chill spread through the air as the domain engulfed them.
In her domain she was the ultimate ruler.
Aella waved her hand causing the frozen shadowy figures to burst apart.
Just as she relaxed slightly, the shadows that were starting to disperse began to join together, condensing and forming into something else entirely.
Aella was immediately on high alert as she waved her hand again causing the chill to spread even more into the air.
Then, the next moment the ice began spreading onto the monstrous entity forming before her.
The monstrous entity towered even larger than the orcs from before and Titan, its massive shadow form rippling with a devastating might that was enough to send a chill down anyone’s spine.
But Aella wasn’t panicked. Instead she calmly waved her hand and attacked.
Her attacks didn’t seem to have much of an effect on the shadowy figure.
And with a devastating punch that struck the ground, the shadow figure seemed to almost destroy her domain.
Fortunately her control was precise, and as she controlled the domain perfectly she was able to dodge all sorts of attacks being hurled at her.
Feeling that it was too deadly for her, Aella let out a sigh and then as she exhaled a burst of scarlet red glow spread from her body.
In an instant she had used her second domain.
The fire domain.
The moment the wave of stinging heat spread everyone was dumbfounded.
"A rare dual elementalist?" Jason muttered in shock.
As he finished speaking one of the shadowy figures pierced through his chest with its claw.
Although its form was immaterial, the moment the punch entered his chest he felt a stinging pain.
However Jason curved his lips upward and swung his fist heavily downwards.
Bang.
Instantly his hand collided heavily with the shadow.
Strangely the shadow wasn’t immaterial like before and was immediately pierced through by Jason’s claw.
The claw seemed to be extremely reinforced with metal and the moment it struck the shadow it made three claw marks that cleaved through it.
In an instant Jason had killed the shadow figure.
It removed its hand from his guts causing a few organs to be pulled out and blood to splash around.
Miraculously, under the night sky Jason’s stomach began regenerating at a speed visible to the naked eye.
Before long his skin was as smooth as ever with no sign of blemish.
Grinning, he turned to the remaining four shadow like entities surrounding him.
He rushed forward at lightning speed, his sharp canines and claws glinting coldly under the moonlight.
Before they could even react Jason was already upon them.
At Titan’s side it was a pure display of brutality.
Titan felt the wind behind him rustle and without hesitation his figure disappeared from everyone’s line of sight.
The next moment he appeared behind the shadow figure with his sword descending like a divine hammer of judgment.
The hammer seemed to cleave the shadow in two and just as it was about to join together, lightning and fire crackled around Titan and engulfed the creature.
The next moment the shadow was consumed by the flames and turned into ashes.
Titan didn’t pause in the slightest and instantly after dealing with the creature he vanished and appeared behind another shadowy figure, his massive golden sword already descending like a mountain.
With a pressure that caused the air to emit a sonic boom, the sword cleaved the second shadowy figure, destroying it.
Then, using his lightning and fire element Titan eliminated the creature completely.
Titan grunted and vanished once more, letting the massacre on his side continue.
Solely because of him the shadowy creatures were decreasing at an alarming rate.
The moment the shadows realised the situation was unfavorable for them they were about to run away but Arthur and the group didn’t let them escape in the slightest.
How could they just let them escape when this only confirmed their guess that perhaps someone was orchestrating all the suspicious outbreaks?
