CHAPTER 74: CHAPTER 73: FILTHY SCOUNDREL

Rationality swiftly returned, and Sienna Thornton angrily punched the chest of the flesh wall, kicked the stomach of the flesh wall, and growled, "Simon Forrester! You filthy scoundrel! Get up!"

The flesh wall was also startled awake, turned over, and reached for the light remote from the bedside table on his side.

With a "click," the warm yellow night light above the bed flickered on.

Simon Forrester’s slightly disheveled deep brown hair hung by his forehead, his chest bare, now rested his elbows on the pillow, squinting at her, his voice heavy with sleep, "Why are you freaking out instead of sleeping?"

"Why am I in your bed?" Sienna sat up, loudly demanding an answer, "Speak! What exactly did you do to me?!"

Simon ignored her, lay back down, and turned off the light again.

Sienna was so angry her mind felt like it was going to explode, she’d never been this mad in her life! The more she thought, the angrier she became; she leaned over Simon’s body, grabbed the remote, intending to turn the light back on, when suddenly he drew her into his arms.

"Let’s sleep first, anything big can wait until morning..." His breath still carried a trace of last night’s alcohol, his embrace warm, with a faint scent of men’s body wash.

Sienna zoned out for a moment, recalling everything that happened.

Even though she still didn’t understand why she ended up in Simon’s bed, she still felt she had been taken advantage of.

Pissed, she disentangled herself from Simon’s embrace, felt her way back to her room barefoot in the dark, and the first thing she did was check her clothes and body thoroughly.

"Whew—" Finding nothing unusual, she breathed a sigh of relief, feeling a bit better.

Opening the curtains, she saw the distant sky tinged with dawn, it was past six in the morning. Thinking about spending the night in Simon’s bed made her angry again.

Furious, she locked her room door and tried to sleep again, but tossed and turned without being able to fall asleep, and what’s worse, around seven a.m., she realized she had to pee urgently.

But hearing Simon occasionally moving outside, she’d rather hold it in than get up and face him, how embarrassing would that be?

She endured it until eight-thirty, when the noises outside gradually faded, knowing Simon would leave for work at eight-thirty, and covered her nearly bursting bladder, opened the door, and dashed to the guest bathroom opposite.

"Whew—" Relieved of her urgency, she washed up, stood in front of the mirror and carefully applied skincare.

The guest bathroom’s mirror was ultra-clear like a magic mirror, and Sienna slyly thought Simon spent a fortune installing this mirror to ensure every guest knew how they looked.

Just like now, the mirror reflected those long, charming eyes, the neatly groomed brows, the small straight nose, the refined lips with a natural smile curve, and that pointed chin, flawless milk-like skin...

Looking at the stunning face in the mirror, Sienna’s earlier gloom was swept away, her mood uplifted; although she didn’t rely on her looks for a living, waking up to her own beauty every morning felt pretty good...

"Coco Pineapple Mango Mango~" She hummed a tune as she walked toward the kitchen, intending to make herself some eggs and milk, when she was startled by Simon Forrester sitting in the dining room, causing her to take a couple of steps back.

He was dressed quite casually, looking as if he had just finished exercising.

Sienna regarded him warily and asked, "Didn’t you go to work?"

Without lifting his head, Simon focused on his tablet and casually replied, "Headache, working from home."

Thinking of what he did last night, Sienna felt indignant, stepped forward a few paces, and lightly mocked, "What on earth is making your head hurt? I’m the one who should have a headache, right?"

"With a few consecutive all-nighters, I didn’t sleep until almost two last night, and got woke up at six by you, how could my head not hurt?"

"You didn’t sleep till two last night?" Sienna was stunned, "You went into the bathroom at midnight, so you soaked in the bathtub till two?"

Simon replied, "No, I soaked for twenty minutes and got out, came out at twelve-thirty."
