CHAPTER 111: JUST SHUT UP!

Rose, Blonde, and Dickson froze instantly, terror flashing in their eyes. They dared not say a word, for Zephyr and Auren’s piercing glares were fixed on them, daring them to speak so they could have another victim to beat.

"Of course it’s true, brother," Nicole chimed in again, her voice trembling with bitter anger. She gestured toward Victoria with sharp disdain. "Only she is capable of something this disgusting."

Victoria’s smirk faltered for the first time. Her eyes narrowed as she turned her gaze sharply toward Nicole, her tone edged with both anger and defiance. "Should I say you’re capable of it too, then? After all, you’re Mirabel’s best friend. When those first three girls’ names were exposed, you were the one happiest about it. You even told everyone not to bring the board down, saying you were interested in everyone’s sex life. And as her best friend, Nicole....you know everything about Mirabel. Even the things she doesn’t tell anyone else."

"Shut your filthy mouth, bitch!!!" Nicole shrieked, her voice cracking with rage. Laughter spilled out of her immediately after, chilling and hysterical. "Just accept your punishment! You did something vile, and now you’ve been caught!"

"I didn’t do anything!" Victoria snapped back, her voice sharp with conviction, her smirk gone. Her gaze locked fiercely with Darius’s eyes, her chest rising and falling as her anger burned. "I only need time to prove my innocence."

But instead of replying, Darius’s face turned with a snarl. In one swift motion, he released her hair only to seize her body entirely. With terrifying strength, he hoisted her off her feet and slung her over his shoulder.

"Put me down this instant, Darius!!!" Victoria screamed, her voice echoing through the old building as she thrashed violently on his shoulder. Her fists pounded against his broad back, her legs kicked in desperate rebellion, but the Alpha’s iron grip held her firm. His jaw was clenched, fury still etched deeply across his face, his eyes burning with a fire that made everyone afraid to interfere.

’You’re screwed now, Victoria,’ Mirabel thought to herself, a trembling smile tugging at her lips. Despite the tears still glistening on her cheeks and the raw burn in her throat, she smirked in bitter satisfaction.

"Just shut up!" Darius roared suddenly, his voice thunderous. A sharp crack split the silence as his hand landed firmly against Victoria’s buttocks, the sound resonating through the hall. Gasps of shock and disbelief rippled across the students’ faces. Several covered their mouths in horror; others looked away, their spines stiffening as though they themselves had been struck.

"You are forbidden to say a single word," Darius growled, his voice low and menacing, each syllable coated in dominance. The air was so tense it felt like the entire building was holding its breath.

"What are you going to do now, girl?" a soft, unseen voice whispered near Victoria’s ear. It was Leo....unseen by all but her. His words slithered into her mind. "These Alphas are madmen. And Mirabel? I didn’t realize she was this crazy until now..."

Victoria stilled slightly, her lips curling into a smirk even as her body remained pinned helplessly over Darius’s shoulder. Her voice dropped into a low murmur, one that only Leo could hear. "Oh, I know exactly how crazy she is. Her and the Alphas. But that’s not important right now. You see, I don’t see this as a disaster..." She let out a faint chuckle, her tone sharp and defiant. "...I see this as a blessing in disguise."

Leo tilted his head, his unseen presence smirking in disbelief. "A blessing? Being humiliated and carried off by these lunatics? You’ve lost your mind."

"Maybe. Or maybe I’ve just figured out the bigger picture." Victoria’s smirk deepened, her eyes narrowing with determination. "Let the Alphas be furious. Let them alert the councils. The more noise they make, the closer my path leads to the very people I need to meet."

"So you’re not going to expose Mirabel?" Leo pressed, his brow arched in curiosity.

"Oh, I’ll admit she’s responsible for this mess, sure. But I’m not going to rush. You’ll see." Victoria’s voice dripped with calculation as she continued murmuring under her breath, her tone sharp yet oddly calm. "The real game begins now. Students who’ve been holding onto other people’s secrets will gain the courage to write them down, hiding behind the guise that I’m the one responsible. Every single secret that surfaces... every scandal... all of it will be pinned on me. And the longer it continues, the more attention I’ll draw. I won’t just be accused...I’ll become a school legend. A living, breathing threat. A celebrity of infamy."

She let out a dark chuckle, her words rolling like venomous honey. "And when the time comes, when every last filthy secret has been exposed, that’s when the true culprit will be forced into the light. And trust me, Leo, even if Mirabel isn’t guilty of every single one, she’ll be pinned for them all. That will be her doom. So let her laugh at me now... because soon, it’ll be her turn to cry."

Leo let out a low whistle. "Clever and dangerous. I like it."

Darius’s voice rumbled suddenly, vibrating against her body as he carried her like a hunter with his prey. "You’d better tell me the truth by the time I drag you into my office, Victoria. Otherwise, you are done. Completely screwed." His tone was low but sharp, promising punishment, his breath hot and menacing against her ear.

The crowd remained silent, every student frozen in disbelief as the Alpha strode toward the exit, his heavy boots thudding against the floor. Victoria shifted slightly on his shoulder, her eyes darting until they found Rose among the students. Her lips parted in a quick, deliberate whisper.

"Go... and get my brothers."

Her words were sharp, commanding, a spark of defiance that cut through the suffocating silence. Rose’s eyes widened, her body trembling with both fear and urgency as she gave the faintest of nods.

At least they’re going to be useful for now, Victoria thought to herself as she allowed her body to be carried away, her expression unreadable. Auren, Zephyr, Nicole, Mirabel, Joe, Dickson, and Blonde followed after them, as well as the other students who knew it was time to leave the old building.

As Darius carried Victoria into the main school building, the students who are in the crowded hallway froze. Eyes widened, whispers grew louder, and confusion spread quickly since many of them had not been at the old building, they had no idea what exactly had unfolded.

Darius ignored every pair of eyes and continued walking until he reached his office. Without hesitation, he opened the door, stepped in with Victoria still slung over his shoulder, and before anyone else could follow, he slammed the door shut directly in Zephyr, Auren, Mirabel, Nicole, and the others’ faces.

"What the actual heck is he doing now?!" Zephyr yelled in outrage, banging his fist against the door, his voice vibrating with fury. "Are we not supposed to deal with this bitch together?"

"You know how Darius is," Auren replied with a weary sigh, shaking his head. "He’s definitely interested in dealing with her alone first. Then, when he’s done, he’ll pass her on to us." A cruel smirk pulled at his lips. "It’s fine though. He can torture her however he wants, and later, I will too."

With that, Auren turned and walked away, and though Zephyr lingered for a moment, he soon followed after with irritation written all over his face.

Mirabel scoffed loudly, rolling her eyes before turning her heel to leave, and Nicole trailed after her in silence, her arms crossed as though she wanted to distance herself from the scene.

Now only Joe, Dickson, and Blonde remained at the door, joined by a group of curious students standing in the hallway, staring with wide eyes.

"What should we do now?" Joe asked in panic as he kept pounding on the door. "What if he kills her? Did you see the way he treated Mirabel when he thought she was the culprit? Now that the blame has shifted to Victoria, he’ll definitely kill her especially since they’re enemies."

"I really don’t know what to do right now," Blonde admitted with hesitation, her brows knitted tightly. She stepped forward and began banging on the door as well, her voice desperate. "Should we go and call the school authorities?"

"And get her punished even more?" Dickson cut in, his voice tense. "If you call the school authorities, then the council will be involved, and that would put Victoria in even greater danger." He paused, his gaze flicking toward the corridor as if an idea suddenly lit up in his mind. Then his eyes widened in excitement. "Wait! Darius’s sister just became the new principal. Oh yeah....she can save Victoria, since she loves her!"

Without another word, he spun on his heel and ran toward the principal’s office, with Joe and Blonde dashing after him.
