Pampered by My Secret Husband

CHAPTER 189: CHAPTER 189: BEING TOO HARSH IN BULLYING?
It wasn’t until night fell and the bonfire was lit that Thomas Shannon returned with Sophie Sullivan.
Sophie’s cheeks were puffed out, and she wore an angry expression.
In contrast, Thomas Shannon looked refreshed and energized, a stark contrast to Sophie.
"Thomas, did you have fun?" William Guillen observed him with amusement, his gaze one that any discerning person would understand at a glance.
Thomas Shannon shot him a cold glance, a silent warning in his eyes.
Didn’t he notice that the little maniac was already furious? Why did he have to bring up a sore subject?
Sophie pushed Thomas Shannon away and went into the Mongolian Yurt.
Sitting next to William Guillen, Thomas Shannon poured himself a cup of wine, and William Guillen moved the roasted lamb leg in front of him.
"Did you bully her too much?"
Thomas Shannon paused, his drink in hand. "Can you shut up?"
William Guillen chuckled softly. "Can’t you take it easy on her? I think the little maniac is nearly drained because of you."
"Guillen Junior!"
William Guillen’s laughter faded. He looked crestfallen and waved his hand. "Alright, alright. Drink up."
Away from the city’s light pollution, the starry sky above the Meadow was exceptionally brilliant.
The two men drank their wine and ate meat, thoroughly enjoying themselves.
"Charlie River."
Charlie River, whose name had been called, took two steps forward. "Young Master, your orders?"
"Send some food to the little maniac."
"Yes, Young Master."
Inside the Mongolian Yurt, Sophie, who was lying on the bed, heard a noise and abruptly looked up. "Who is it?"
"It’s me, Charlie River. The Young Master asked me to bring you some food. May I come in?"
"I’m not eating!" Sophie growled, her voice tight with anger at Thomas Shannon.
Silence fell outside the tent flap.
Sophie lay back down, seething with anger. She clenched her fists tightly. "Thomas Shannon, you bastard!"
She drifted off into a troubled sleep and vaguely heard the sound of arguing outside the Mongolian Yurt.
Sophie was jolted awake by the noise. She sat up, rubbing her eyes, quite grumpy from being woken up so suddenly.
She got out of bed, slipped on her shoes, and headed outside.
Lifting the tent flap, she saw a familiar figure.
"Can you stay away from me? Stop pestering me!" William Guillen’s voice was laced with extreme, despicable disgust.
Fluffy Zane stood before him, looking travel-worn, as if she had just rushed over.
She smiled faintly and calmly shook her head. "I can’t."
William Guillen’s mask of a young gentleman shattered completely. He gripped Fluffy Zane’s neck, his voice chillingly cold. "Tell me, what exactly do you want? The position of my girlfriend, or the position of Young Madam Guillen?"
Fluffy Zane’s face turned deathly pale, but she met his gaze unflinchingly. "I want you."
"Such a fine daughter the Zane Family has raised! Look at you, propositioning a man without an ounce of shame."
Fluffy Zane opened her mouth to say something, but then her gaze fell upon Sophie standing before the Mongolian Yurt.
She closed her mouth, saying nothing.
Following her line of sight, William Guillen also saw the little maniac.
He snorted coldly and lowered his voice. "Get out of my sight, immediately. I don’t want to see you."
With that, he released his grip and strode off.
Fluffy Zane remained standing there, not leaving for a long time.
Sophie approached her, somewhat puzzled. "What’s your relationship with William Guillen?"
"No relationship."
How strange.
They clearly looked like they were having an affair.
Fluffy Zane met her probing gaze with a self-deprecating smile. "Do you find me disgraceful?"
"Not at all," Sophie replied, her expression neutral. "Do you like William Guillen?"
The last time Sophie had seen Fluffy Zane crying and stumbling out of William Guillen’s office, she had already guessed some of it.
