CHAPTER 246: CHAPTER 246: BEHAVE YOURSELF, DON’T MOVE RECKLESSLY

Not until Thomas Shannon kindly handed the club to a nearby maid.

Only then did Sophie Sullivan breathe a sigh of relief.

She gripped a golf ball tightly, gritting her teeth, "Thomas Shannon, don’t you dare touch me anymore!"

Gasping for breath, she returned to the lounge area and sat down in a chair, her body nearly collapsing onto the chair back.

Her hazy eyes flashed with fire as she glared at Thomas Shannon.

"What’s up?"

Thomas Shannon held his mobile phone in one hand and used the other to remove some Grass fragments from her head.

She swatted his hand away and swiftly pounced on him while he was concentrating on a phone call.

She wrapped her arm around his neck, tightening her grip as if to vent her anger.

Seeing this, Charlie River was about to intervene and pull her away.

Thomas Shannon raised his hand, signaling him not to interfere.

William Guillen teased on the other end of the telephone, "Why are you panting? Did I interrupt something good?"

"It’s daytime now; not everyone can be a beast like you."

Sophie rolled her eyes. Young Master Shannon, you’re quite the beast yourself!

Do you even distinguish between daytime and nighttime when you get going?

When have you ever not tormented her whenever the mood struck?

Thomas Shannon tilted his head, his gaze lowering to her face. He gripped her chin with one hand, swaying it from side to side. His magnetic voice was very low.

It was so low that only the two of them, standing so close, could hear it clearly. "You have a problem with that, hm?"

Sophie moved closer to him, her voice laced with anger. "You’re a beast yourself, yet you have the nerve to criticize others! Thomas Shannon, are you blushing?"

Ashamed?

She got so close that he could clearly see the fine, golden hairs on her face.

Her warm breath sprayed lightly on his face, tickling him.

That tickle, however, only whetted his craving.

Thomas Shannon gently pecked her cheek. "Stay still, don’t move."

Sophie: "..."

He was clearly the one who moved!

The thief crying ’thief’—is that really okay?

"Thomas, why aren’t you talking?"

Feeling ignored, Young Master Guillen raised his voice in annoyance. "If you’re busy, just say so. I don’t want to be the one who spoils the mood."

"I don’t have your twisted hobbies. Fine, I’ll be there on time."

After saying that, Thomas Shannon hung up the phone.

Casually tossing the mobile phone onto the tabletop, he grabbed Sophie’s mischievous tiny hand and pulled her in front of him. "Are you itching for a beating?"

She had been fanning the flames on him while he was on the telephone.

Her audacity had certainly grown!

"Who let you kiss me..."

"I kiss you, and you grope me back?"

Thomas Shannon stared at her with great interest, as if he had just realized something incredible.

A faint curve played at the corners of his mouth, a half-smile that was both amused and sinister. The depths of his eyes grew increasingly dark, wicked, and deep.

He was like a ravenous beast that had spotted delicious meat, now pondering how to devour it to best preserve its exquisite flavor.

Sophie knew he was about to act like a beast again. Before things could get out of hand, she immediately raised her hands in surrender.

"I was wrong."

Her admission of fault was concise, simple, and clear.

Thomas Shannon snorted. Gripping her chin, he pulled her face close to his. "Do you genuinely know you were wrong, or is this just a stalling tactic?"

"Of course, I know I was wrong."

"Tell me, then. What did you do wrong?"

Sophie: "..."

Beast!

Wrong is wrong. Must I spell out exactly where I erred?

"Speak. What did you do wrong?"

Thomas Shannon pulled her onto his lap, one hand brazenly caressing her waist.
