Pampered by My Secret Husband
Chapter 270 - 272: It’s Time to Consider the Important Matters in Her Life
CHAPTER 270: CHAPTER 272: IT’S TIME TO CONSIDER THE IMPORTANT MATTERS IN HER LIFE
He had considered all these details.
It was enough to show that he really held Mrs. Guillen in his palm center.
"Do you like this kind?"
Thomas Shannon frowned, lowering his head, his deep eyes fathomless.
Sophie Sullivan nodded. "A gentle and considerate man, who wouldn’t like one?"
"Maniac, do you like Old Mr. Standford?" William Guillen held back his laughter, his handsome face slightly reddened.
"If Old Mr. Standford were thirty years younger, he would also be a handsome guy."
Thomas Shannon scoffed disdainfully. "Are you blind?"
That kind of person is handsome too?
Sophie Sullivan didn’t want to argue with Thomas Shannon. She looked at the scene on the surveillance monitor; the two people were enjoying their dinner with frequent laughter, occasionally raising a glass of fine wine.
Mrs. Guillen was graceful, her every move reflecting her elegant demeanor.
Beside the dining table, several men with violins suddenly appeared, performing live music.
Mrs. Guillen shook her head with a smile. George Stanford stood up, a smile on his face, making an inviting gesture.
BANG!
"Is Old Mr. Standford seeking death?!" William Guillen couldn’t control his urge to rush out but was pressed back into his chair by Thomas Shannon, who had a cigarette in his mouth.
"Lan Singh, don’t be impulsive."
"How can I not be impulsive? Old Mr. Standford has started his tricks! Am I supposed to just sit by and watch?"
"It’s just a dance. Don’t be impulsive."
Inside the Restaurant, George Stanford held Mrs. Guillen’s waist with one hand and her soft hand with the other, his eyes radiating love hearts.
Tonight was his happiest and most fulfilling night.
Having dinner and a dance with the woman he admired was a dream he had never dared to imagine before.
Now that it had all come true, he was very satisfied!
"Shawna, how I wish time tonight would pass more slowly, even slower. That way, I could look at you a little longer, just one more glance," George Stanford said quietly, his tone a mixture of joy and a hint of melancholy.
The joy was from finally realizing his dream; the melancholy, from the fleeting nature of beautiful moments.
"George, you’re not young anymore. It’s time for you to consider the important matters in your life," Mrs. Guillen said, looking at him with an encouraging smile.
George Stanford grumbled, "I’m only interested in you. I don’t care for anyone else."
"You, you..." Mrs. Guillen didn’t know whether to laugh or cry; he was just too obstinate.
That was why he was still single at his age.
George Stanford didn’t want to discuss this. "Shawna, has Old Mr. Guillen been good to you?"
Mrs. Guillen nodded with a smile. "He’s been very good to me."
I can see that... George Stanford’s heart was pierced. Even though he already knew the answer, he still had to ask.
Inside his heart, he was very conflicted. On one hand, he wished Old Mr. Guillen treated her badly so that he might still have a chance. On the other hand, he hoped Old Mr. Guillen treated her well; she was so wonderful and deserved to be cherished and loved.
Mrs. Guillen hadn’t forgotten the purpose of her visit. Amidst George Stanford’s gloomy mood, she said, "I heard from Lan Singh that that kid Thomas Shannon has an affair that needs your help?"
"Yes, I’ve already promised him," George Stanford said, giving her a resentful glance. "Having you accompany me for dinner—our own private date—is one of the conditions."
Mrs. Guillen found this even more bemusing; he was always so honest that one couldn’t help but chuckle.
"I heard from Lan Singh that girl is a good girl. George, please help as much as you can. Appearance is very important for a girl; it can affect her entire life."
"I know."
George Stanford was like a student being lectured by the dean, unbelievably obedient.
