"So this is an Existential Thread of Quintessential Self?" Wei Wuyin stood upon a fully plucked garden absent of any flowers, completely barren, down to its fertile soil nourished by pure spiritual aura. Floating atop his right palm was a slender thread of an endless multitude of colors, shrouded by a mesmerizing glow with a distinct cyan hue.

This glow was Soul Light. According to Suo Haoran, only Supreme Existences or True Sages can extract a thread of their Quintessential Self denoting their existence. It was but a single severed thread of a clump cluster of a thread that grew longer and longer as one lived. It represented not just age but lived experiences.

In the mortal world, maturity, wisdom, and breadth of spirit could be measured by the length of one's Existential Thread of Quintessential Self. All beings had one. The destruction of one's existence was the direct eradication of this cluster of a single thread.

Severing a piece wouldn't affect a cultivator too much, but it could affect future cultivation efforts unless restored to normal. Wei Wuyin grasped a profound truth: his usage of Major Time Law and Major Imperial Law during Hong Xuannu's operation was incredibly essential to success, far more than he imagined. Despite not knowing of this aspect of a cultivator, Wei Wuyin was intuitively reverting degradation while forcefully maintaining the thread's connection.

This feat, in hindsight, made the abject shock of every Supreme Existence watching entirely reasonable! Wei Wuyin calmly executed the spell given to him by Suo Haoran. The thread within his palm wiggled anxiously. However, it didn't resist. By using his Samsara Spiritual Energy, he enveloped the thread with the auras of all six Major Laws. They then naturally split the thread into six segments.

The spell was both simple yet incredibly profound. It was over in an instant after each segment was refined by the Major Laws' respective auras and then infused into the source of each Major Law. Within Wei Wuyin and his Astral Souls' consciousness, they sensed the humanoid figure with extraordinary clarity, feeling an overwhelming sensation of control.

Wei Wuyin had a full understanding that he could severely harm the Existential State of this person, and not just once, but six times via a backlash supported by the Heavenly Realms. This was very similar to the Alchemic Stars Mortal Annihilation, forcing the target to be rejected by the Mortal Dao. In this situation, it would be one aspect of the heavens.

That was insanity!

But this also meant that doing so wasn't an automatic killing of the target, not directly controlling their life or death, but acting as if they were the Heavenly Daos' in regards to a Heavenly Oath. At any time, without any real justification, Wei Wuyin could punish this Supreme Existence. Even if it was out of pure boredom or an arbitrary whim.

Realizing this, he accepted these circumstances. It was unrealistic to be able to kill someone with a single thought simply because you held a small piece of them. At most, you can curse them or cause them long- lasting harm. Still, a betrayal would likely cause an untold number of problems for their future cultivation prospects, so this was a significant binding agreement.

That said, it wasn't an absolute certainty in terms of obedience either. The only saving grace for those under Dao service was the limited timeframe for maintaining this restriction. When he observed the threads enveloped by his auras, he realized the Law of Origin's thread was shrinking at an extremely slow

rate.

The other segments of the thread seemed to be connected, but they weren't shrinking, just placed in an inactive state of stasis. When he looked further into this, he realized that this was the result of his Astral Souls suppressing them, not the spell.

His expression grew dark instantly. If he didn't have such internal clarity, and his Astral Souls didn't have their amazing sentience to act on their own in ways beyond his comprehension, the thread, even segmented, would have only lasted a total of nine years, not fifty-four. When he inspected the spell, he realized his mistake immediately. Fortunately, his Astral Souls picked up his slack.

'I wonder if that existence is aware of this?' Wei Wuyin thought, realizing this existence was rather scheming if so. Considering they likely had the trap of Dao-Bound Treasures to escape 1,000 years of servitude, or perhaps a built-in failsafe to prevent the curse of heaven's wrath. If he had to guess, it was likely the latter.

"Free! Me!"

Wei Wuyin could hear the great urgency and joy within its voice. The hope of freedom was indescribably orgasmic, especially when the light was arriving after a lengthy sense of lonely darkness. However, Wei Wuyin didn't act immediately to free the Supreme Existence imprisoned by the array.

Instead, he patiently observed the fragmented Secret Realm in its entirety. He had entered the garden to take everything within, including the nine Dao-Bound Treasures. Now that he studied closer, this region felt similar to a Dominion a Heavenly World.

Using his Temporal Eye and Major Time Law, he wanted to determine its age since creation. When he gazed upon the surface, his heart pounded with shock. The spatial boundary was at least a million years old! What an overwhelmingly incredible amount of time! This didn't even consider the gradual effort that went into worming out the power to build this amidst the binding array.

How old was this imprisoned existence?

"You love playing around with forces far beyond your comprehension," The Heavenly War Spirit remarked with a pouty tone.

Wei Wuyin grinned. Since he was twenty-seven years old, he was destined to fight against forces far beyond his comprehension. Hell? Heaven? River of Time? Unseen Divinities?

"I'm still breathing, aren't I?" Chuckling heartily, Wei Wuyin decided not to be excessive with his thoughts and contemplate his decisions. He tapped his glabella once. Then, he gently swiped downwards until he pointed to his heart with his index and middle fingers. He tapped his chest twice. Then, he dragged down in an intricate pattern until it reached his dantian. He tapped three times. After doing so, he swiped up in yet another intricate pattern until his fingers reached his lower jaw. Within his mouth, a grey, cloudy radiance slowly expanded.

With a heavy heave, he pulled his finger away from his jaw as if he were pulling a stubborn chain. A drop of cloudy grey blood was extracted from his mouth. He looked at the drop of blood carefully and then pointed it toward the depths of the Secret Realm, where that Supreme Existence was hidden. It whooshed forward with lightning-like speed.

This was a pure drop of his blood essence, intermixed with traces of his paragonic energy sources imbued with the three great dao blessings. It was a little risky, but he had already decided to give it his all.

The blood bypassed the prison effortlessly. It was as if it were no different than the Void or the Mortal Dao, Mystic Dao, or that great dao of eternity. It didn't have any defenses against them, or wasn't designed to repel their presence. What it lacked was the aura of any Law, completely devoid of any.

The Supreme Existence struggled to lift its head, gazing as the grey, cloudy drop of blood appeared before them without them sensing a single thing. Wei Wuyin could feel their shock. It was overwhelmingly intense.

He instructed, "Consume this drop of blood, refine it into your heart. You'll be able to emulate its aura for three whole seconds, overwriting your own. When you've reached that state of harmony, locate the Void Anchor and just feel its pull. Don't resist in the slightest. Understood?"

After saying this, Wei Wuyin waited for the reply.

"Yes."

Nodding, Wei Wuyin continued: "When you've escaped, you'll find a Void Ring by the Void Anchor. There's a Soul Pill alongside a few other items useful for recovery. Your first order will be to recover what you can. When I'm finished here, we'll discuss more."

"... Yes." The voice was extremely obedient.

Wei Wuyin waited. It took eighteen hours before the moment came. Then, he sensed himself within the prison. This was from his perspective, but it was as if the natural Void existed within.

In the blink of a Mortal's Eye, the Supreme Existence within the cage vanished.

Beyond the fragmented Secret Realm where the Void Portal was located, a figure soundlessly appeared, letting out a hoarse exclamation of genuine disbelief and surprise.

Wei Wuyin then took a step forward, entering the prison!

When he did, he sensed the ambient suppression tethered to a single type of aura. That aura wasn't him. He was invisible to the array, undetectable. Once again, Wei Wuyin was utterly amazed by Kratos's ability to enter and exit from anywhere. Its declaration of one day visiting Hell on its own or escaping Hell was

becoming a strong reality in the near future.

He opened the transcendent Edict Potion.

Without hesitation, he consumed the potion. His four Astral Souls assisted the digestion and refinement. While they worked their magic, Wei Wuyin observed each of the pillars. All eighteen were Microheavens resonating with a specific Heavenly Realm of Law.

Among them was a specific pillar that he was focused on entirely: a pillar resonating with the Law of War!
