Yang Ruoxi had been watching quietly from the side.

Initially, she was curious, but after seeing Chen Yang’s operation, she was completely baffled.

Dai Annie looked, nodded, "Alright, I got it."

"Hmm."

Seeing that Dai Annie understood, Chen Yang left her to it and began stirring the other buckets with his stick.

There were a total of six buckets.

Chen Yang and Dai Annie stirred for over ten minutes until all the buckets had changed to a brown color.

"All done! What’s next, Chen Yang?"

Dai Annie asked with a smile after finishing the last bucket.

Chen Yang nodded, then went inside to get two yokes.

"Next, come with me to apply the fertilizer. Just carry the ladles, I’ll take care of the buckets," said Chen Yang.

"Okay."

Dai Annie smiled and nodded, then turned to grab two ladles from the house.

Chen Yang shouldered the six buckets by himself and led the way towards the orchard.

After walking for a while, they reached the orchard, where Chen Yang began teaching Dai Annie how much was needed for each tree.

He also instructed her on some things to be careful about.

Dai Annie, being smart, quickly grasped the details.

Once everything was clear, Chen Yang let Dai Annie take over while he went to water another area.

There were quite a few fruit trees in the orchard, and it took some time to water them all.

When they finished watering, it was already late, almost six o’clock, and the sun was setting.

Seeing they were almost done, Chen Yang wasted no time, picked up the buckets, and headed back with Dai Annie.

Back home, Chen Yang saw that it was late and initially planned to cook directly.

But he suddenly received a call from Yang Ruoxi, saying that Li Han was inviting them to dinner in the county town and that they should bring Wu Kexin as well.

Chen Yang wasn’t very inclined to go, but Dai Annie very much wanted to.

With Dai Annie and Li Han dining out, Chen Yang simply walked alongside them.

Li Han and Dai Annie walked arm in arm like close sisters.

"Good evening, sir. Are you three dining?"

As soon as Chen Yang walked into the restaurant, a server greeted them.

"No, we’ve reserved a spot," Chen Yang replied.

"Oh, may I know where your reservation is? I’ll show you the way," the server promptly said.

Chen Yang replied.

"Alright, sir, this way, please," the server gestured invitingly, guiding Chen Yang, Li Han, and Dai Annie into the dining area.
