Late at night.

Suddenly, gunshots rang out from the direction of the Magiatsuka Kingdom’s harbor.

As soon as he heard it, Ryuen jumped out of bed and rushed to the hotel rooftop in a flash.

World Government CP agents? What are they doing here?

"It looks like the World Government’s CP agents are chasing someone..." Ryuen said quietly.

Everyone turned to look. They saw a group of men in suits — CP agents — chasing a little girl and firing shots at her to make her stop.

"Ryuen, should we help her?" Kuina placed her hand on Wado Ichimonji, ready to act at any moment.

But just as she finished asking, her hand moved away from her sword.

Ryuen didn’t answer either.

Because they all saw a second group appear — it looked like they were helping the little girl escape. The two sides opened fire on each other.

"The Revolutionary Army?" Robin said in surprise.

"That girl must be someone important..." Hogg said seriously.

"Looks like the CP agents are trying to catch her alive, which is why they’re not shooting to kill. And the Revolutionary Army is helping her get away."

"So... both sides are after this girl," Robin said, her voice carrying a hint of deeper meaning.

A few minutes later, they saw the Revolutionary Army hide the little girl, while the others drew the CP agents away.

"They came prepared..." Nojiko said quietly.

"If both sides are going after this girl, then... she must have something to do with who ends up ruling the Magiatsuka Kingdom," Ryuen said, thinking back to what Kana had mentioned earlier that day.

"Hmm~"

"Well, we should get back to bed. Still a while before sunrise," Nami said with a yawn, walking back down the stairs.

The others followed her down.

The members of the Dream Team slowly woke up. If it weren’t for the noise outside drifting into their rooms, they probably would’ve slept until noon.

Everyone yawned as they made their way to the living room.

"Haah~"

"What’s with all the noise outside? Did something happen again?" Daisy asked through a yawn, not really expecting an answer.

"Probably has something to do with what happened last night," Robin guessed.

"I’ll go have someone bring breakfast..." Anya said as she walked out of the living room.

Ryuen went to the window and pushed it open with both hands. The noise outside became much clearer.

"This is amazing!"

"I can’t believe the royal army actually found a descendant of the Garfield royal family!"

"It’s unbelievable—someone from the Garfield bloodline is still alive!"

"Waaaah..."

"This is so great! Our Kingdom of Magiatsuka finally has a king again!"

"It’s been fifteen years!"

"Fifteen years is way too long. We’ve been living under the dark rule of the nobles all this time..."

Just then, a hotel staff member pushed in a breakfast cart.

She had an excited look on her face.

Almost the entire Garfield family was wiped out during the coup—at least, that’s what the nobles told the people.

From then on, the noble who had led the coup took over as the new royal family.

By agreement, the royal army came under the control of all the nobles, and the laws of the kingdom were rewritten.

They were squeezed for everything they had.

From that point on, the Kingdom of Magiatsuka entered a period of joint rule by the nobles.

For the last fifteen years, the common people never stopped hoping the Garfield family would return and take back the throne.

After explaining everything, the staff member quietly left the room.

He had spotted several people wearing masks.

It was CP0 from the World Government!

They had shown up here too!
