CHAPTER 49: PRS 49

Bughh! Bughh! Bughh!!!

"You incompetents! You’re all dead!" Galih beat his men relentlessly. "I paid you all so much for what?! To fail?! To embarrass my family?!"

He was breathing heavily, his face red with emotion.

He had just received a report: The assassination of Alesio Xander had been a complete failure.

Not only had they failed to kill him, but they hadn’t even managed to inflict a single wound on Alesio. Galih had spent a lot of money on those hitmen.

"You say you’re professionals! You say you’ve handled big targets before! But in reality?!" Galih kicked a chair hard. "You can’t defeat one man?! Just one man?!"

"Excuse us, Young Master," one of his men tried to defend himself, clutching his bruised face. "That target... he wasn’t alone. There were professional bodyguards around him. And the woman with him... she also—"

"I don’t want to hear excuses!" Galih interrupted harshly.

"If this is how it’s done," Galih hissed, "How can I get rid of him before it’s too late?! Time is ticking and my window of opportunity is getting narrower!"

Today, the public was welcoming the arrival of the CEO of Lulas Corporation in the Student City. And now... Galih couldn’t move at all.

With the failed assassination, the opposing side was sure to be on high alert. For the time being, he was completely helpless.

Furthermore, his family’s Armada Group was under investigation for fraudulent activities on a nearly completed government project. The scandal was about to become public.

And sure enough... it wasn’t just Harry Armada’s father who was being investigated. The officials and police officers involved were also implicated in the leak of Armada Group’s internal data.

So many parties directly involved were trying to back down, even cutting ties to avoid being caught up in this embarrassing scandal.

It was better to lose money than to lose their positions and family reputation.

The withdrawal of the partnership, coupled with the continuing surge in negative press, sent Armada Group’s shares plummeting this afternoon.

Galih punched the wall in anger. "You’re all losers! I gave it my all, and this is what it turned out to be?!" He growled like a wounded animal. "Father would kill me if he found out I ordered you! And you... made everything worse!"

No one dared look at him.

Meanwhile...

Inside the luxury car, which was driving quietly, Alesio Xander stared at the tablet in his hand.

"Armada Group is falling faster than expected," he said calmly. "I thought they’d hold out at least until tomorrow morning. Turns out their foundations were shaky from the start."

Beside him sat a young woman with sharp features and intelligent eyes:

Isabella Clark, 22. The young CEO with a mysterious fortune that was now the talk of the nation.

Isabella stared at the red graph on the screen. She chuckled briefly.

"Alesio..." "Do you think it’s profitable to buy a sinking company? I mean, a company with a reputation as ruined as this?"

Alesio turned his head, gazing at her beautiful face.

"It’s not about whether it’s profitable or not," he replied quietly but confidently, "I’ll help you manage everything. As long as you’re in control... everything will be a powerful force. You have a clear vision, Isabella. And I believe in that vision."

Isabella smiled. There was both calm and ambition in her eyes.

"Then," she sighed, "Let’s wait until the price drops to its lowest level. Then... we’ll take it all in. I want to buy at the lowest price. Let them feel what it’s like to lose everything."

Alesio nodded in satisfaction. "I like the way you run your business. Firm, intelligent, and merciless to your enemies."

"I learned from the best," Isabella replied, glancing at Alesio with a faint smile.

The car entered the Lura Estate project area, a housing project in collaboration with Lulas Corporation.

They didn’t stop at the marketing office. The car headed straight for the project site.

The project manager, who saw the vehicle passing, hurried to catch up with the marketing manager who was already on standby in the field.

As soon as the car stopped, Isabella and Alesio got out.

All eyes were transfixed.

"Is that Miss Isabella... our boss?" a worker murmured, stunned. "I can’t believe she actually came here!"

"Oh my God... she’s so much more beautiful than her photos on social media!" another exclaimed, his eyes sparkling. "Like a Korean celebrity who’s come down to earth!"

"Absolutely like a goddess..." a foreman added, wiping sweat from his forehead. "And she’s even younger than my daughter!"

Unconsciously, all the workers stopped what they were doing and gathered to stare at the woman.

Isabella had prepared cold drinks and fried snacks she had bought on the roadside. She handed the bags to Siva to share.

"Please accept these, sir. It’s just what it is," Isabella said kindly, with a sincere smile. "You must be tired working under the hot sun like this. At least this will refresh you a bit."

"That’s more than enough, Miss!" the foreman replied, accepting the food with both hands, as if receiving a precious gift. "We’re very grateful! Not every boss is willing to personally come down like this!"

"If Miss Isabella gives it to us, even the fried snacks taste like palace food!" said one of the workers, staring at him in amazement, his eyes almost heart-shaped.

But his friend immediately slapped him on the head, "Hey! Don’t stare like that! Look who’s standing next to him... Do you want to die young, huh?!"

The worker suddenly noticed Alesio’s sharp gaze, clearly displeased with another man looking at his woman. He immediately turned away, swallowing his fried snacks with difficulty.

Isabella giggled at Alesio’s fierceness. And that small smile... it actually made the other workers nearly faint from sheer awe.

Alesio growled softly.

"Don’t smile like that..." he approached slowly, his voice low and slightly possessive. "Your face is... too attractive. They’re all looking at you like... I don’t like it."

Isabella rolled her eyes. "Whatever you want. Besides, I was just smiling kindly. They’re our employees."

"I know," Alesio snorted. "But their gazes aren’t friendly. They’re looking at you like... never mind."

The workers pretended not to notice, even though the atmosphere was clearly heating up with Alesio’s jealous aura.

Sensing the awkward atmosphere, Isabella invited Siva to the marketing office.

"Siva, let’s go inside. It looks like someone needs some time to calm down," Isabella said, holding back laughter.

"Ready, Boss," Siva replied with an amused smile.

Upon arriving in the meeting room, Isabella immediately opened her laptop and connected to the system via private access.

Armada Group’s stock chart was clearly visible. Deep red. Falling. Without pause.

In just two hours, the corruption and financial manipulation data Isabella leaked to the public had brought Armada Group to its knees mercilessly.

Isabella typed quickly, accessing Armada Group’s internal server once again.

"I’ll make them feel what it’s like to touch the wrong person..." she muttered, her eyes focused on the screen. "They think they can kill you and get away with it? I won’t let it."

All the important data was leaked instantly.

"You can help me speed up the process," Alesio said, standing beside her, his hand resting on the back of Isabella’s chair. "I want him to feel the consequences of all his actions. He’s been playing dirty for too long."

Isabella smiled faintly. "This is my revenge on them for daring to hurt you."

Alesio paused for a moment at those words. His heart beat faster.

Hartanto Armada now had to answer for everything. The family’s good name was in tatters.

Shareholders panicked. They rushed to sell their shares before they became worthless.

"Damn it!" a shareholder cursed as he frantically called his broker. "Sell everything! I don’t care how much I lose! The important thing is to sell now!"

"We were so stupid to believe Hartanto!" another said in frustration, throwing his phone on the sofa. "He’s tricked us all! How could we not know?!"

"Because we were too greedy," his friend replied bitterly. "We only saw the profits without checking where they came from."

Hartanto and his own family even sold their shares to cover the losses.

The Armada Group had truly hit rock bottom.

Watching everyone sell their holdings... Isabella nodded slightly.

"It’s time," she said softly, her fingers moving across the keyboard. "It’s time we take over everything."

With nimble fingers, she bought up 100% of Armada Group’s shares for 20 trillion rupiah.

It was as if... she were just buying peanuts.

"Are you sure about this decision?" Alesio asked, even though he already knew the answer.

"Absolutely," Isabella replied confidently. "This is a long-term investment. I’m not buying the Armada Group name. I’m buying their assets, connections, and market position. The rest... we’ll rebuild."

The news immediately filled the media:

"WHO IS ISABELLA CLARK? 22-YEAR-OLD ENTREPRENEUR BUYS ARMADA GROUP FOR CASH!"

Everyone was in an uproar.

How much wealth does this young woman actually have? How could she get so much money so easily?

Now, the largest property company in the Student City officially belongs to her.

She plans to change the company name to:

IBA Group (Isabella Business Alliance)

Not just property, but all business sectors would be his to handle.

Isabella stared at the screen with a sense of satisfaction that was hard to hide.

"After this..." Isabella closed the laptop slowly. "I’ll work out the details with you. We need to develop a rebranding strategy, restructure management, and clean up everyone involved in corruption."

Alesio approached. He gazed at Isabella proudly.

"You’re amazing," he said lowly, his gaze hard to describe. "You’ve expanded your empire... and I’ll always be there to support you."

Isabella nodded calmly, but her cheeks flushed slightly at Alesio’s words, which sounded like a lifelong promise.

His success today confirmed his position as one of the most influential businessmen in the country.

"We’re just getting started, Alesio," Isabella said, gazing out the window. "This is just the beginning of our grand plan."

"And I can’t wait to see what you do next," Alesio replied with a faint smile he rarely showed others.
