CHAPTER 60: PRS 60

Having just arrived at the hidden and top-secret Dark Evil headquarters, Isabella immediately sprang into action, quietly purging hundreds of spies planted within the underground organization, unnoticed by anyone, even the spies themselves, unaware of their detection.

Isabella’s swift and efficient actions left the entire Dark Evil core team even more impressed, and they eagerly awaited the 22-year-old young woman’s official joining as one of their leaders.

"Thank you so much, dear. Thank you for helping me clean up the organization," Andra said sincerely, gazing at Isabella with admiration. "I’ve been searching for months but haven’t found any traitors."

"You’re too stupid and careless," Isabella said sharply, matter-of-factly. "That’s why you managed to infiltrate nearly two hundred spies. If I hadn’t arrived, this organization would have been destroyed from within."

Andra scratched his head, grinning like a fool after receiving a stern reprimand from his nephew. Meanwhile, the ten core members standing beside the man were shocked and exchanged glances, as if they hadn’t expected the girl with such a gentle, angelic appearance to have such a sharp tongue and be so quick to criticize her own uncle.

"She’s truly different," whispered one core member.

"That’s right. She doesn’t mince words," chimed in another.

After clearing the Dark Evil headquarters of all traitors and enemy spies, Isabella immediately put her plan into action for her great-grandmother’s birthday party that night.

"Phoenix System, I want to see the details of the five super-exclusive item boxes I obtained during the hijacking mission," Isabella thought, her eyes focused on the laptop screen in front of her, pretending to be working normally.

[The First Box contains: 1 set of Red Diamond-Tulip Sleeping Treasures worth 150 trillion, active and passive foreign language skills (21 languages), 2 mirror cards, and 500 points that will be directly credited to the Phoenix System]

[The Second Box contains: Ownership of the Haley Business Center in Country S with total assets of 700 trillion, 20% of HS Corporation’s shares, and 500 points that will be directly credited to the Phoenix System]

[The Third Box contains: 1 set of antique jades worth 600 billion, and 1,000 points that will be directly credited to the Phoenix System]

[The Fourth Box contains: Fire Flower Poison (deadly in 24 hours), 1 set of divine spears, 10 teleportation cards, and 1,000 points that will be directly credited to the Phoenix System]

[The Fifth Box contains: Heart Poison (deadly in 48 hours), 10 unlucky cards, 15% of MG Industries’ shares, and 2000 points, which will be immediately credited to the Phoenix System]

Seeing the many tempting rewards she had obtained from the dangerous mission, Isabella nodded with a faint smile. She had even begun planning how to use some of the cards and poisons she had in her possession in her carefully crafted master plan.

"Perfect," Isabella muttered to herself, her eyes sparkling. "This way, they will receive the just reward for all their evil deeds over the past 22 years."

After completing all the important matters at headquarters and giving Andra detailed instructions, Isabella tried using the teleportation card she had obtained to arrive inside the main mansion without being noticed by anyone, not even her own family.

"It worked!" Isabella thought with satisfaction as she looked around. "I’m already in my great-grandmother’s room. This card is truly magical!"

She was quite amazed by the extraordinary rewards the Phoenix System had given her, as they were all incredibly useful and powerful in various situations.

While Isabella was cautiously walking to her great-grandmother Berti’s room to chat, Mikaela, unaware of her youngest daughter’s arrival, was in the luxurious living room with Liora, sitting anxiously, constantly glancing at the clock on the wall.

"Isabella, why isn’t she here yet?" Mikaela muttered anxiously.

As soon as she heard the sound of a luxury car pulling into the mansion’s spacious courtyard, she quickly got up and peeked through the large window to see who it was.

Mikaela saw that it was Elie and his annoying little family. Her cheerful face immediately faded and was replaced with a disgusted expression. Liora, who was adjusting her evening gown, became worried by her mother’s drastic change in expression.

"Who’s here, Mom?" Liora asked curiously, approaching. "Why did Mommy’s face change like that?"

"That old Granny Lampir and her annoying family," Mikaela replied in a resentful tone. "I don’t want to see their faces at all."

Not wanting to meet her stepgrandmother, whom she hated so much, Mikaela immediately led Liora upstairs and waited for Isabella’s arrival on the balcony of her second child’s bedroom, which faced directly toward the large gate of the residence.

"Let’s just wait here, honey," Mikaela said, pulling Liora’s hand. "I don’t want to meet Granny Lampir and her family so I can be safe and not ruin my mood for the party. I have to be in top condition to welcome Isabella."

Mikaela gracefully sat down on the balcony bench, while Liora sat sweetly across from her, carefully pouring warm tea into the beautiful woman’s porcelain cup, hoping to gradually improve her mother’s mood.

"Mommy, don’t worry," Liora comforted her with a gentle smile. "Isabella said she’d be on time, and she’ll definitely keep her promise. How about we head to the grand hall now? It looks like the invited guests have already started arriving."

Liora noticed that the gate next to the main residence, which served as the entrance to the grand hall where the party was being held, was already filled with luxury cars entering one by one.

As a gracious and polite host, Mikaela certainly couldn’t afford to be careless at this grand party and embarrass the Alegra family in front of all the important guests.

Elie and his family, seeing the magnificent living room of the main mansion empty without a single family member welcoming them, were already accustomed to such cold treatment and arrogantly walked up to the third floor where their dreaded mother-in-law was to wish her a happy birthday and deliver the dangerous gift she had so carefully prepared.

Isabella, who had actually arrived at the main mansion earlier—thanks to the teleportation card—and was chatting casually with her great-grandmother while presenting her with a special gift, a Diamond Lucky Rose set she had obtained from the Phoenix System, immediately rose from her seat when she heard approaching footsteps.

"They’ve come bearing a dangerous gift, Grandma," Isabella whispered solemnly. "I’ll hide behind the curtain to observe. Let them think everything is safe."

Barti, who was also ready with the plan they had devised together, nodded at Isabella’s words.

Berti was just as shocked as Andra, not expecting her unwanted son-in-law, the cunning Elie, to have such a powerful and dangerous backer behind him, who had gone so far as to nearly sink the entire Alegra family into ruin.

As a veteran of both high politics and the horrific cruelties of the underworld, Berti, now 90, still appeared remarkably resolute and strong, belying his advanced age.

This was also what made everyone, both friends and foes, respect and fear him, especially his enemies, who dared not appear openly in front of him for fear of being killed.

"Mother, happy 90th birthday," Elie said with a sweet, fake smile. "Today I prepared a special gift for you, so you can stay healthy and see your grandchildren grow up and marry happily."

Isabella, who had been observing Elie with keen eyes from behind the thick curtains, was startled by the Phoenix System’s voice suddenly echoing in her mind.

[DING!!!]

[New Mission Detected]

[Mission: Unmask Elie and her family in front of everyone

Reward: Eyes of the Goddess and the ability to read minds

Time: 10 minutes]

[ACCEPT] [REJECT]

Isabella, seeing the reward for this mission as quite interesting and very useful for the future, immediately clicked the [ACCEPT] button without hesitation and with a lightning movement threw a small honesty pill into Elie’s mouth, which was wide open with a smile.

Gleech

"What just went down my throat?!" Elie thought in panic, clutching her neck.

She immediately swallowed the foreign object, which she thought was a small insect, with a hint of disgust. She couldn’t possibly vomit in front of her mother-in-law, dislodging it and ruining the gentle and graceful image she had worked so hard to maintain.

"Mother, I specially prepared this lucky statue as a gift so you can die slowly and painlessly," Elie said suddenly, uncontrollably. "You don’t know that this lucky statue I brought contains a deadly poison that will take effect in three days!"

Elie immediately covered her mouth with both hands, unable to believe she had just revealed her big secret and murder plot to Berti with her own words.

Nana and Meli, utterly shocked by the old woman’s shocking statement, both widened their eyes and opened their mouths wide in shock, allowing Isabella to easily pop the truth pills into their mouths.

"Grandmother, don’t listen to what Mother said," Nana said, trying to defend herself with a nervous smile. "The statue won’t hurt you by torturing you. You will die peacefully and without suffering."

Nana, who had also accidentally spilled the beans, immediately covered her mouth, her face deathly pale and terrified.

"What happened to our mouths?!" Meli whispered in panic.

Yuan, who had immediately gone upstairs to her mother’s room upon hearing the report from her loyal servant that Elie and her family had arrived, was afraid that the cunning woman would harm her elderly mother. She secretly eavesdropped on what the cunning woman was discussing inside the room by pressing her ear to the door.

She was completely unaware and shocked that Elie and her child had come with malicious intentions, bringing a gift containing deadly poison to kill her own mother.

Unable to stand eavesdropping any longer, Yuan rushed in, his face fierce and filled with anger.

"I never imagined you two were so evil and cunning!" Yuan shouted loudly. "And from this moment on, the Alegra family officially sever ties with you both! You are no longer part of this family!"

"Guards!" Yuan called out loudly. "Drag this shameless mother and daughter into the jungle to be eaten by the hungry crocodiles there! Don’t let any of them remain!"

"Husband, this is all a misunderstanding!" Elie shouted hysterically, trying to grab Yuan’s hand. "I was forced by Orion and Romano."

Andra, who had just climbed the stairs at a brisk pace, heard Elie mention the name of Romano, whom she had been searching for so long. She approached with blazing eyes and gripped Elie’s wrinkled face so roughly that the old woman winced in pain.

"Tell me now, everything you know about Romano and Orion!" Andra snapped in a terrifying voice. "If I’m satisfied with the information you provide, you can go free, and we won’t kill you. But if you lie..."

Hearing that they might be released, Meli, who also knew many of her husband and mother-in-law’s big secrets, immediately stepped forward.

"I know everything!" Meli shouted, her eyes shining with hope. "I know more than my mother-in-law! I even have a list of the people you’ve planted in this house and at the company."

Seeing that his stepsister-in-law seemed useful and could be used, Andra immediately ordered his men to take Meli away for further interrogation in a secret location.

Meli, led away by several large men, swaggered past Nana and Elie, who glared at her with hatred and fiery eyes.

"You treacherous bitch!" Nana thought vengefully, gritting her teeth. "Just watch how I tear you to pieces when I get back!"

"Arghhh!" Elie screamed as Andra’s sharp nails dug deep into her face, bleeding.

"Hey, where are your eyes looking?" Andra said coldly. "I’m right here waiting for your answer about Rpmano."

Andra tried to make Elie look directly into his eyes to see the old woman’s sincerity and ensure she wasn’t lying.

Elie wanted to deny it and lie, but somehow, everything that came out of his mouth was something he shouldn’t have said carelessly.

Likewise, Nana, who tried so hard to speak to save her mother from torture, only made Andra and Alegra’s entire family even more furious, wanting to kill them on the spot.

Moreover, they had fully admitted that they were targeting Isabella at Berti’s birthday party to assassinate her.

Cisko, who had not entered his great-grandmother’s room because he was bored, quietly left the main mansion to inform his Uncle Orion of everything that had happened there and request emergency assistance.

No!

Isabella swiftly threw a small, sophisticated listening device the size of a fly, which immediately attached itself to the back of Cisko’s neck without the young man even noticing.

"With this, I can find crucial evidence of their involvement," Isabella murmured, satisfied with her ingenious plan. "Since I couldn’t get it by hacking the overly secure data, I used a direct method to gather the evidence."

[Congratulations! Host has successfully completed the mission and is entitled to the reward of the goddess’s eyes and the ability to read others’ minds. Would you like to activate them now?]

Isabella, already extremely curious about the two special abilities she had acquired this time, immediately answered quickly and enthusiastically. "Yes, activate now, Phoenix System!"

Three seconds later, Isabella’s special ability was fully activated. The beautiful girl blinked rapidly as she saw a sight she shouldn’t have seen with her normal eyes.

With these goddess-like eyes, she could seemingly strip everyone who passed by, revealing their bones, organs, and even the objects they were hiding.

Her cheeks were now even redder than ripe tomatoes when she accidentally caught sight of her uncle Andra’s lower body, who happened to be passing by.

"Oh my God!" Isabella thought, embarrassed, closing her eyes. "How can it be so big and long?"

"Is Alesio’s big and long like my uncle’s?" she wondered, wondering what was happening, making her face even redder.

Hachiin...

Alesio, who was intently reviewing a pile of important files in his office, suddenly sneezed for no apparent reason, prompting his loyal Alekso to rush to get some warm water and vitamins so his boss wouldn’t fall ill after his long vacation with his girlfriend, as there was still a lot of work to be completed immediately.

"Boss, drink this," Alekso said, handing him a glass. "Don’t get sick. There’s still a mountain of documents to be signed."
