CHAPTER 75: PRS 75

[DING!!!]

[Will the Host check in today and spin the raffle wheel?]

Hearing the Phoenix System’s voice, Isabella’s eyes immediately shot open, especially since the Phoenix System had mentioned spinning the raffle wheel, something she hadn’t done in a long time.

"Phoenix System! You showed up at the right time!" Isabella exclaimed, sitting up in bed with sparkling eyes.

She hadn’t heard that voice in a long time, and it had only just appeared yesterday, making her incredibly excited.

She was especially curious about the Queen Phoenix System she would soon own. "Okay, Phoenix System, I’ll check in now. I can’t wait!" she said, immediately pressing the check in button and spinning the cashback raffle wheel, which had a fairly large number on it.

"Hopefully I’ll get a good prize!" Isabella muttered, staring at the spinning raffle wheel with anticipation.

[Congratulations! The Host gets 25x cashback on every transaction with no transaction limits and no transaction amounts.]

What the Phoenix System said made Isabella’s eyes pop open. "25x cash back with no limits or transaction restrictions!" she shouted in shock, jumping out of bed.

"This is impossible! Phoenix System, are you serious?!" Isabella asked, her voice trembling with disbelief.

[It’s true. Any money the Host spends will be returned 25-fold.]

"Oh my God! This... this is amazing! Thank you Phoenix System!" Isabella exclaimed, spinning around in circles with joy.

After hearing the Phoenix System’s explanation, Isabella ran to the bathroom to clean herself up and get back to her activities.

With the substantial cash back, Isabella began brainstorming ways to maximize her returns and benefit her business and others.

"The heart hospital needs additional funding, and the schools too... oh, the rain city project must require a lot of repairs. Perfect!" Isabella muttered, calculating in her head.

An excited Isabella quickly listed everything in her little mind while being showered.

"Today is going to be a very productive day!" Isabella said, enthusiastically soaping her hair.

As soon as she finished showering and changing, seeing Siva already setting breakfast on the table, Isabella immediately invited her to eat.

"Eat a lot, Siva. Our schedule is very busy today. We’re going to be touring a lot of places," Isabella said, sitting down and grabbing a piece of bread.

"Busy? How busy, Boss?" Siva asked, pouring herself some orange juice.

Siva, listening to Isabella’s morning schedule, was a little surprised for a moment, but remembering that tomorrow she would have to return to Country S via Country G because air transportation in Country I was still not operational, she ate heartily to have some ammunition for the trip.

"Wow, this is going to be a long day, Boss," Siva said, chewing her food.

"That’s why I told Siva to eat a lot. We need extra energy today," Isabella replied with a smile.

Isabella’s main agenda was to visit the construction of a heart hospital and free schools in several remote areas before inspecting her project in the rainy city, which, according to Uncle Gusta, had been severely affected.

On the way, Isabella asked Siva to stop at a grocery store to buy some groceries that she would distribute later.

"Brother Siva, turn right. There’s a large grocery store up ahead," Isabella said, pointing.

"Is this enough?" Siva asked, panting slightly as he loaded the various groceries into the car.

"Rice, cooking oil, sugar, eggs... I think it’s still not enough. Brother, get a few more sacks of rice and cooking oil. I want to make sure the residents are truly helped," Isabella said, checking her packing list.

"That’s it for now. If it’s not enough, we’ll find something nearby," Isabella said after seeing the car trunk was almost full.

"Okay, Boss. I hope this is all helpful for them," Siva said, closing the trunk.

The two of them headed to the heart hospital Isabella had founded because it was the closest and still in City XX.

For the area within City XX, the powerful storm wasn’t too severe, with only a few roads damaged by fallen trees; otherwise, everything was fine.

"Thank goodness City XX wasn’t too badly damaged. I was worried," Isabella muttered, looking out the car window.

The three-story hospital she founded was still standing strong, and some workers had returned, allowing construction to resume.

"Thank God, the building is still standing. The construction is indeed strong," Isabella said with relief as she saw the hospital from a distance.

Isabella told Siva to bring out the cakes she had bought from the shop, along with coffee she had also bought from the café, and several packs of cigarettes to give to the workers.

"These are for all of you. Thank you for continuing to work hard despite the difficult conditions," Isabella said, handing out the cakes and coffee to the workers.

"Thank you so much, miss! You’re so kind!" the workers exclaimed happily.

After chatting briefly with the project foreman, Isabella, seeing nothing further to discuss, immediately continued on her way.

"Foreman, if there are any problems, contact me immediately. Don’t hesitate to contact me," Isabella said before leaving.

"Okay, miss. I’ll report the progress every week," the foreman replied with a respectful nod.

Due to the rainstorm, getting to the school they were building was a bit difficult due to landslides in some areas, so Isabella and Siva were forced to walk to the site.

"Boss, be careful, the road is slippery," said Siva, holding Isabella’s hand.

"Yes, sis. We have to be careful. The ground is still soft," Isabella replied, walking slowly.

Assisted by the local village head, Isabella and Siva distributed the basic necessities they had brought to residents affected by the recent rainstorm, which isolated their homes and made it difficult to go out to buy groceries.

"Sir, this is for the villagers. I hope this helps," Isabella said, handing several sacks of rice to the village head.

"Thank you very much, miss. The residents have been struggling for food since the storm. This is a great help," said the village head, his eyes welling with tears.

Fortunately, the nearly finished school building was spared due to its favorable location, not too far from the edge, and a large river flowing nearby, preventing flooding during the rainstorm.

"Thank you for the assistance you have provided, Miss Isabella. On behalf of all the residents of K Makmur village, I express my deepest gratitude and may Miss Isabella be blessed with abundant blessings and good health," said the village head sincerely, shaking Isabella’s hand firmly.

"You’re welcome, sir. As fellow human beings, it’s only right that we help one another if a brother or sister experiences a disaster. After all, children’s education is an investment in the nation’s future," Isabella replied humbly.

"Miss is still young but already very wise. May God always protect you," said the village head respectfully.

After exchanging pleasantries with the workers and village officials who happened to be with her, Isabella resumed her journey.

Isabella had temporarily established three schools while she awaited proposals regarding other areas in need of free schools so she could ensure that all children in this country could receive an equitable education.

"We still have two more schools to visit, Sis. We must hurry," Isabella said, checking her watch.

After visiting all the schools under construction and distributing food packages along the way to disaster-affected residents, Isabella and Siva immediately headed to the project in the rainy city.

"Boss, is it okay for you to go to the project without contacting Alesio first? Isn’t this his project too?" Siva asked cautiously, glancing at Isabella.

"I’ll contact him later, once we’re done here, because I don’t want to disturb his concentration on work. He must be very busy," Isabella said in a cold and firm tone, leaving Siva unable to argue and simply nodding obediently.

"Okay, Boss. I understand," Siva replied quietly, concentrating on driving.

The project employees were quite surprised to see Isabella arrive with Siva, Uncle Gusta, and several of his men behind.

"Miss Isabella! We didn’t know you were coming today!" exclaimed one of the employees, shocked.

Despite this, Em, who was tasked with surveying the condition of the Rain City project, remained professional and thoroughly explained the project’s condition and its challenges. Frankly, the rainstorm that struck had completely destroyed all the facilities and infrastructure that had been built, requiring a significant amount of funds to restore them.

"Miss, I must be honest. The condition is very bad. Many materials have been washed away, access roads are badly damaged, and several house foundations are cracked," Em explained with a serious expression.

"What is the estimated cost for a complete repair?" Isabella asked with a focused gaze.

"At least... 8 to 10 trillion rupiah, Miss," Emil replied hesita

Tringg...

Em was shocked to see a 10 trillion rupiah transfer notification enter the project’s finance department.

"N-no way! 10 trillion?!" Em exclaimed, staring at her phone with wide eyes.

"Use the funds to handle everything quickly. If it’s not enough, contact me immediately. Don’t hesitate to ask for more," Isabella said firmly.

"Th-thank you, miss! I... I don’t know what to say. This is incredible!" Em said, her voice trembling.

"Okay, I’ll act immediately today to supply materials so the road repairs can be started immediately. I’ll mobilize the entire team to work," Em said quickly, immediately pulling out her phone to contact the supplier.

After arranging everything on the project and also making a security plan with Uncle Gusta, Isabella immediately returned to City XX.

"Uncle, ensure 24-hour security on the site. Don’t let any material theft happen," Isabella said before leaving.

"Yes, Miss! I’ll arrange a strict security schedule," replied Uncle Gusta, saluting.

However, mid-journey, before Isabella could send a message, Alesio contacted her first.

"Hello, dear, are you still in the rainy city?" he asked, confirming in a hopeful tone.

"No, I’m already on my way back to City XX. You don’t need to follow me because once I arrive in City XX, I’ll go with the friend who picked me up," Isabella replied flatly.

"But... I want to see you, dear. We haven’t seen each other in a long time," Alesio said pleadingly.

Alesio, hearing his lover’s unusually flat tone, didn’t want to make her feel uncomfortable, so as the more mature lover, he tried to be patient and give in. "Okay. Be careful on the road and don’t forget to call me when you arrive," Alesio said, a little sadly.

Actually, Alesio wanted to ask many things, especially about that hot night, whether it was all real or just a beautiful dream. But all of that was swallowed back down when he heard her flat tone, as if she were carrying a heavy burden.

Isabella, hearing her lover’s sad tone, tried to comfort him. "Alesio... listen. You finish all your business, and as soon as I get back, we can take a short vacation. I promise," Isabella said in a softer tone.

"Really? You promise?" Alesio asked, his voice suddenly cheerful.

Hearing Isabella’s words, Alesio was like a wilted flower that had just been watered, refreshed and excited. "Of course! I’ll take care of all the projects, so as soon as you get back, we’ll take a few days off. Where do you want to go? The beach? The mountains? I’m ready!"

"We’ll talk about it later, okay? The important thing is that you take care of your health," Isabella said with a faint smile.

"You too, honey! Don’t overwork yourself!" Alesio replied enthusiastically.

Isabella, hearing her lover’s renewed enthusiasm, felt relieved. Siva, who had accidentally overheard their conversation, twitched at the corners of her lips, not expecting Alesio to be calmed so easily.

"I’m aware of my obsession. Is it Alesio who’s too obsessed with himself, or is my boss truly great at winning people over?" Siva muttered analytically, shaking her head in amusement.

Siva secretly resolved to learn all these good things from her boss so she wouldn’t catch the obsession virus that could make her stupid.

"I have to take note of Boss Isabella’s techniques. She’s a genius at calming men," Siva whispered with a small smile.
