CHAPTER 79: PRS 79

[DING!!!]

[Good morning, Host. Would you like to check in this morning and draw the lottery?]

The same voice Isabella heard that morning made her reply softly, "Yes, I’d like to check in now."

With her eyes slightly open, she spun the lottery table and immediately clicked [STOP], causing the Phoenix sound to buzz again.

[Congratulations! Host today gets 50x cash back on all transactions with no spending limits.]

Isabella, hearing the word 50x, immediately sat up, her eyes wide open. "How come today’s cash back is so much!" she exclaimed in shock, rubbing her eyes to make sure she wasn’t seeing things.

"Fifty times? This isn’t a dream, is it?" she muttered, pinching her cheek.

So far, Isabella’s highest cash back was 25x, with the rest ranging from 5 to 20.

[Because, today is a special day for Host. Happy 23rd birthday. [Hopefully, as you get older, Host can get all the good things you’ve always dreamed of.]

"Birthday? Oh yeah, today is my birthday," Isabella muttered with a small smile. She had almost forgotten her own special day because she was so busy with mafia affairs.

Isabella blinked several times, but before her surprise had subsided, the bedroom door suddenly opened and all her family members entered, carrying a small birthday cake in their mother’s hands.

"Surprise!" they all shouted in unison.

"Happy birthday, princess, Mommy," Mikaela said, kissing Isabella affectionately on the cheek. Her mother’s warm embrace gave Isabella the warmth she had longed for.

"Mommy... all of you..." Isabella’s voice trembled slightly with emotion.

"Happy birthday, my dear, Daddy," Demon chimed in, hugging his youngest daughter after his wife moved aside. "Daddy is so proud of you, honey. You’ve become an amazing woman."

"Thank you, Dad. I love you all so much," Isabella replied with tears in her eyes.

"Happy birthday, little sister," Leon, Liora, and Almes said in unison, ruffling Isabella’s hair affectionately.

"Don’t ruffle my hair," Isabella protested, laughing.

"Our little sister is all grown up now. Twenty-three years old. It feels like just yesterday you were still a little girl," said Almes.

Not forgetting, Yuan and Daniah, standing at the back, also wished her a happy birthday.

"Happy birthday, dear. Grandpa and grandma wish you the best," they both said in unison, walking over to hug their beloved granddaughter.

"You are the pride of the Alegra family, Bella. Never forget that," added Yuan.

Also in Isabella’s room was her great-grandmother, who came with her uncle and sat down beside the beautiful girl, who still had her pillow-face, embracing her warmly.

"Happy birthday, dear. Great-grandma always wishes for happiness for you," said Berti sincerely, gently stroking Isabella’s hair. "May you live long and always be under God’s protection."

"Amen, great-grandma. Thank you," Isabella replied, kissing her great-grandmother’s hand.

"Come on, make a wish and blow out the candles," Andra said, to which everyone nodded.

After closing her eyes and praying, Isabella blew out the candles on the birthday cake her mom had brought. She silently prayed for her family’s happiness and the success of all her plans.

Everyone applauded as soon as the candles were blown out. Isabella’s three older siblings immediately burst into confetti, splattering Isabella’s room with the excitement her family brought.

"Hooray! Happy birthday, Bella!" they shouted together.

The girls’ eyes welled with tears, as they never imagined they would experience such warmth from their family.

"All of you... thank you. This is the best birthday I’ve ever had," Isabella said in a trembling voice, tears of joy streaming down her cheeks.

"Don’t cry, honey. This is your happy day," Mikaela comforted, gently wiping away her daughter’s tears.

As the servants entered the room and set the food on the balcony table, Alegra’s family members also began placing the gifts they had brought on the table beside Isabella’s bed.

"This is from Daddy and Mommy. I hope you like it," Demon said, handing her a velvet-covered box.

"This is from the three of us. We picked it ourselves," Liora added with a wide smile.

Once breakfast was ready, all the members of the Alegra family ate together on this sunny day, chatting lightly.

"Bella, what are your plans for today?" Mikaela asked, pouring her daughter orange juice.

"I have to go to a conference with Uncle Andra, Mom. There’s still an agenda for the second day," Isabella replied, munching on some toast.

"Keep working. At least spend some time with the family this morning," Leon chimed in.

After breakfast, everyone went downstairs to continue their daily activities, while Isabella went to the bathroom to clean up before leaving with her uncle for the conference.

City J is quite close to the capital, only taking an hour and a half to get there, so she decided to commute instead of staying at the hotel provided.

In the car, Andra had already brought up his conversation with Joni last night.

"How was it?" he asked for his opinion, handing his tablet to his nephew.

Isabella tapped the handle of her chair thoughtfully for a moment, carefully reading each message. "If they’re willing to provide a trade route in the Southern region, I’ll help restore their condition. I can even return the money Hexss stole to the BC Syndicate’s bank account."

"Are you sure you can return the money?" Andra asked reassuringly.

"Of course. I’ve tracked where the money went. It won’t be difficult to get it back," Isabella replied confidently.

Hearing her niece’s answer, Andra chuckled softly. "You’re truly cunning," she praised, immediately typing Isabella’s reply to send to Joni.

"They were the ones who bothered me first. Asking for compensation for my mental health is no problem, right?" Isabella replied with as innocent a face as possible, making Andra burst out laughing.

"Mental health? Bella, you’re not even scratched! It’s A who’s injured!" Andra couldn’t hold back his laughter.

"Mental wounds are invisible, Uncle. Who knows, maybe I’m traumatized," Isabella said in a fake, innocent tone, making Andra laugh even more.

If A had seen his nephew’s expression when he said that, he would probably have vomited blood. Which mental state A needed compensation for, since it was actually him, not Isabella, who was affected mentally, left Andra shaking his head at how cruel his nephew could be when offended.

Joni was a little surprised by Isabella’s request, but considering that she would also return the money Hexss stole, even if his heart bled over the loss of the southern trade route, it was better than letting the organization his great-grandfather founded with struggle and tears be destroyed before his eyes.

"Okay. I’ll let Cristo take care of everything, because starting today, he’s the leader of BC Syndicate," Joni said reluctantly in his reply.

Andra, hearing that Cristo had replaced A, chuckled softly again.

"Did you predict this from the start?" Andra asked probingly, glancing at his nephew.

Isabella simply shrugged nonchalantly. "I don’t care. What’s clear is that we’ve secured the southern trade route from Country S, and that’s enough, as it’s very profitable for us."

"You’re right. That route is very strategic for our arms trade," Andra nodded in agreement.

What Isabella said was true. Through the southern route, Country S would expand their arms trade, which would bring enormous profits to Dark Evil.

"This girl’s business acumen is very sharp. She can also read the situation and capitalize on it well. No wonder father was so eager to recommend her to me," Andra thought appreciatively, watching her niece, who was focused on her laptop.

Isabella had no idea what Andra was thinking, as she was busy restoring BC Syndicate’s system and trying to withdraw all the money Hexss had stolen back to the homeowner’s account.

"It’ll be done soon. The system is quite complicated, but it’s not a problem for me," Isabella muttered, her fingers dancing quickly across the keyboard.

Hexss, who was in a joyful mood after successfully obtaining hundreds of trillions of rupiah from the BC Syndicate, was currently changing clothes after a shower before the loud sound of the alarm made him run outside quickly.

Tettt...tettt...tettt....

"No! Not again!" Hexss shouted in frustration upon hearing the same alarm as yesterday.

The red exclamation mark appeared again. All the data he had managed to obtain was gone, along with the money he had stolen. The man could only clutch his head, which suddenly felt incredibly painful, before falling unconscious.

"Arghhh! Who did this to me..." Hexss groaned before collapsing to the floor.

Due to his anger and lack of rest over the past few days, a blood vessel in Hexss’s brain ruptured, causing him to suffer a stroke and numb half of his body.

Luckily, the maid Hexss had called to clean his apartment arrived. Otherwise, he might not have survived due to the delay in treatment.

"Sir! Mr. Hexss! Oh my God!" the maid screamed in panic when she saw her employer lying on the floor, foaming at the mouth.

Joni, seeing that the security system within BC Syndicate had been restored, even three times stronger than before, was incredibly satisfied. Especially after he saw that all the funds and data Hexss had stolen had been returned to him, he no longer resented giving up his Southern trade route, as he considered it well worth the reward.

"Amazing. That girl is truly a genius. Yuan was right to trust her so much," Joni muttered, smiling contentedly as he stared at his computer screen.

Meanwhile, A, who had lost his position and been evicted from the luxurious mansion he had occupied for thirty years, was heartbroken.

"Why must I be the one evicted?! I’m his son! I’m the rightful heir to BC Syndicate!" A shouted, pounding on the wall in frustration.

He blamed all this on Cristo, who he considered to have poisoned his father’s mind, throwing him, his only child, out onto the streets like a stray dog.

"This is all Cristo’s fault! He’s the one who poisoned Daddy’s mind! He’s the one who ruined my life!" he cursed, his eyes red with tears and anger.

"Just watch, I’ll make you miserable, Cristo," A said, his eyes glaring with revenge, before he strode out the gate carrying a small bag filled with the bare necessities.

His steps faltered, his heart broken. The man who had lived in luxury now had to face the bitter reality of having lost everything—his position, wealth, and honor.

"I swear I’ll come back and take it all back," he whispered through chattering teeth, whether from the cold or the anger burning in his chest.

In the car driving to J City, Isabella closed her laptop with satisfaction.

"It’s done, Uncle. All the funds are back. I’ve also strengthened the system. They won’t be easily hacked again," she reported.

"Good. You’re the best, Bella," Andra said, patting his niece’s shoulder proudly.

"Thank you, Uncle. This is the best birthday present—a new trade route for Dark Evil," Isabella replied with a faint, meaningful smile.
