CHAPTER 86: PRS 86

Morgan’s arrival at the Alegra family’s main mansion has been a familiar sight over the past few months. In fact, the handsome man’s arrival was always eagerly awaited, everyone hoping their relationship would work out according to the wishes of both families, who wanted them to be together for the rest of their lives.

"Oh my God, they’re so sweet and harmonious together. Just look at the way Mr. Morgan looks at Miss Isabella, so attentive and tender. I can’t wait to see them together," said one of the maids, captivated by Morgan’s handsomeness and Isabella’s beauty, clinging to the wall pillar, biting her napkin enviously.

"That’s right! And Miss Isabella seems more cheerful lately. It seems Mr. Morgan truly brings her happiness," added another maid with a broad smile.

"Yes, let’s just wait for the good news. Young Master Leon will be getting married soon. Next year, perhaps Young Master Liora, then Young Master Almes, and then Young Master Isabella," her colleague chimed in enthusiastically.

"I’m sure their engagement party will be extravagant and romantic. The Alegra and Cromson families are both well-known," the first waiter replied, imagining the grandeur of the event.

Seeing his two subordinates chatting casually and forgetting about their work, the butler approached with his hands on his hips and a stern expression, causing them both to quickly run back to their positions before being thoroughly sprayed.

At BC Resort, Isabella, who had been here several times with Morgan, was familiar with the room’s layout, tailored to her tastes, and the beautiful night views that were a feast for the eyes. The star-studded night sky, the gentle breeze carrying the scent of the ocean, and the soft glow of candlelight created a truly intimate and romantic atmosphere.

Although he wasn’t fond of sweet-talking, Isabella could tell from Morgan’s demeanor that he was a true romantic. Without a word, his actions and actions were enough to prove his sincerity. Morgan paid attention to every little detail, from making sure Isabella sat in a spot with the best view to remembering her favorite food.

Upon arriving at their table, Morgan gently pulled out a chair for Isabella to sit comfortably before turning around and taking his own. "You look so beautiful tonight, Bella," Morgan complimented sincerely, gazing into Isabella’s eyes, which sparkled in the candlelight.

Isabella smiled shyly at the compliment. "Thank you, Morgan. You’re handsome as always," she replied softly.

After ordering their food, the two ate while chatting lightly about their daily activities and random things they’d seen. "I saw a really cute orange cat in front of the office earlier. It was chasing its own tail until it was dizzy," Isabella said with a chuckle.

Morgan laughed along with her. "You’re just like a little kid, Bella. But that’s what I like about you, you can find happiness in simple things."

"So what? Life is complicated enough, so we should be able to enjoy the little things that make us happy," Isabella replied with a sweet smile.

Shortly after, the food they ordered arrived. The two ate, interspersed with small talk. Occasionally, Morgan would even help open the cap of a mineral water bottle when Isabella wanted a drink, or peel a shrimp and give it to her to eat. These simple gestures warmed Isabella’s heart.

"You don’t have to do all this for me, Morgan," Isabella said, though she was deeply pleased by the attention.

"I do it because I want to, Bella. Not out of obligation," Morgan replied with a sincere smile.

This was what Isabella loved about Morgan: without many words, his actions conveyed what he wanted to say to her. This meant more than a thousand sweet promises and sweet words men usually offer their girlfriends. Morgan was a man who preferred to prove his feelings through concrete actions.

Isabella, sensing that the atmosphere and time seemed right for her mission, launched her attack. She took a deep breath, gathering the courage to start the conversation she had been wanting to have for a long time.

"Morgan, about our engagement, what do you want?" Isabella tried to steer the conversation in a more serious direction by asking Morgan’s wishes first. Her hands were shaking slightly holding the glass, showing how nervous she was at the moment.

Morgan seemed to shake the wine glass in his hand a few times before taking a sip and setting it back down on the table. He paused for a moment, as if trying to find the right words to express his feelings. His eyes immediately met Isabella’s with a calm, loving gaze.

"I want our engagement to continue because I love you and want to be with you forever," he said honestly in a voice full of conviction. "Bella, from the first time I met you, I knew you were the one I’d been looking for. You made me want to be a better man."

Isabella nearly choked on this confession, the first time she’d heard it from Morgan, even though she’d heard it many times in her heart. Her face flushed red, her heart pounding.

"Are you proposing to me?" Isabella asked, giving him a playful glance to distract herself from the sudden nervousness that had gripped her. She tried to mask her emotion with a little joke.

"Just think of it that way," Morgan replied with a wide smile. "Even though this isn’t a real proposal yet, I want you to know how serious I am about our relationship."

Seeing Isabella’s expression change slightly, Morgan’s heart raced, afraid he’d answered incorrectly and made her uncomfortable. He clasped his hands under the table, anxiously awaiting Isabella’s response.

Isabella, who could hear Morgan’s inner voice, tried to clarify everything upfront to avoid any misunderstandings that could sour their relationship. She had to be honest with Morgan about her current feelings.

"Are you sure you want to continue, even though you know I can’t fully open my heart to you yet?" Isabella asked, looking at Morgan appraisingly. Her voice was soft yet firm. "I don’t want you to regret it later, Morgan."

Morgan reached for Isabella’s hand across the table, holding it gently but firmly. "Yes, I want to continue, although I know you need time to accept my feelings. If given the chance, I will show you that I am worthy to be your partner," Morgan replied sincerely. "I’m in no rush, Bella. I can wait until you’re truly ready."

Seeing the honesty in Morgan’s eyes and in his heart, Isabella felt that now was the right time to finalize everything. Her heart had already made up its mind.

"Okay, I accept this engagement, and we can make it official right away," Isabella said finally, a sweet smile on her face.

What Isabella said made Morgan’s heart skip a beat. "Did I hear that right? Isabella just accepted my feelings!" he thought excitedly. He could hardly believe what he had just heard.

Isabella, who could hear Morgan’s inner voice, smiled faintly. The beautiful sight certainly made Morgan’s heart feel like it was going to jump out of his chest with joy.

"Bella, say it again so I’m sure I’m not dreaming," Morgan said, his eyes sparkling brightly. His voice trembled slightly with overwhelming emotion.

Isabella chuckled softly at Morgan’s adorable reaction. "Yes, Morgan. I’m willing to go ahead with this engagement and want to make it official as soon as possible," he replied confidently.

Spontaneously, Morgan stood up and jumped, flexing one arm and shouting "YES!" with joy, making Isabella laugh. Several other restaurant patrons turned to them with smiles, sharing the young couple’s joy.

[DING!!!]

[Congratulations! The Host has successfully completed a special mission and received a special item box containing 5 nightmare cards, a lightening power, and a gold and diamond mine in Keystown.]

"Nightmare cards, what are they?" she asked curiously.

[The Host can create a description or plot that will be given as a nightmare to others. One card lasts for one month. Whenever the person the Host gives the nightmare card falls asleep, regardless of the time, the dream will immediately come.]

"Interesting," Isabella muttered to herself. She felt that this mission reward was very good. In addition to the gold and diamond mine, she also received 5 nightmare cards that could drive people insane, which were very useful for punishing enemies who targeted her.

Seeing several waiters who were about to serve dessert stare in surprise before finally smiling happily, Morgan immediately sat down with a slightly awkward expression.

"Sorry, I was so happy earlier that I acted impulsively," he said uncomfortably, scratching the back of his head. "I look like an idiot, don’t I?"

Isabella, watching her fiancé’s silly behavior, simply waved a hand in front of her face. "It’s okay, it’s normal. In fact, I’m happy to see you this happy," she replied with a warm smile.

Isabella’s words made Morgan’s face light up even more, especially when the waiter who brought them dessert congratulated them sincerely, making his smile even wider.

"Congratulations on your engagement. May you both be happy forever," one of the waiters said as he placed the dessert on their table.

"Thank you," Morgan and Isabella replied in unison, making them both laugh.

"Ahem..." After clearing his throat once, Morgan returned to his original expression, trying to appear calmer even though his heart was still pounding. "So, when do you want to have our engagement party?" he asked curiously, looking at Isabella expectantly.

"I have to discuss this with my family first because Brother Leon is getting married soon, so I need to discuss everything first before making a decision," Isabella replied, popping a piece of ice cream on top of a cake into her mouth. "I don’t want our event to clash with Brother Leon’s wedding."

Morgan nodded in agreement. "Right, everything has to be discussed with the family. I’ll discuss it with Grandpa later, too," she said, thinking about how her grandfather would react to this good news. "He’ll definitely be very happy."

Hearing Morgan’s mumblings, Isabella felt a little embarrassed, unable to believe that the man loved her so deeply. A warm feeling spread through her chest.

After dinner, the two took a short walk around the restaurant, digesting their food, holding hands affectionately. The cool night breeze added to the romantic atmosphere.

This charming couple certainly attracted the attention of many diners who were also dining at BC Resort, enjoying the beauty of the outdoor restaurant with family members, friends, or loved ones.

After feeling their stomachs were no longer full, the two decided to go home and rest, as they still had many activities to complete the next day.

Throughout the journey, Morgan never let go of Isabella’s hand, even though he was driving and using only one hand to turn the wheel.

Isabella, who felt like Morgan was a volatile teenager at the moment, couldn’t help but laugh inwardly, as she couldn’t believe he was so sweet, so different from his usual demeanor.

Love can truly change everything. Even if not properly controlled, love is like a sharp knife that can injure and even become the most dangerous murder weapon, difficult to avoid.
