During the two days Naruto was waiting, Hatake Satoru made a trip to Sunagakure.

That’s exactly when teleportation becomes insanely useful.

He found a small cave where the wind and sand weren’t too bad, set up cages for his crows to live in, and let them all out.

"I remember crows eat dead things too, right? You’ve been in Kirigakure for so long—didn’t you raise some that can find corpses?"

Hatake Satoru had once asked Shisui this while standing in a hospital room.

"Who even raises crows just to find corpses? That’s such a weird thing to ask."

Shisui looked at Hatake Satoru with a deadpan face behind his sunglasses.

Plus, if you want to find bodies, use dogs. Shisui vaguely remembered that Kakashi had raised a bunch of them.

Like, his little brother already had tools like that. So why did Hatake Satoru have to keep going after his crows?

"In places where the wind and sand are crazy strong, dogs’ noses are pretty much useless."

"And Kakashi’s dogs can talk. If they start reporting random stuff, it’s gonna be a pain to explain everything."

"I’m not gonna kill those birds or anything... do you have them or not?"

Hatake Satoru tilted his head. He could kinda understand why Shisui treated the crows like pets, but it’s not like he was hurting them.

Worst case, they’d just come back a little skinnier and with messy feathers.

Shisui’s crows were huge and strong—wind wouldn’t blow them away. If they were just regular crows, Hatake Satoru wouldn’t even have thought about using them.

Shisui sighed helplessly and replied,

"Yeah yeah... I’ve got some."

In the original story, there wasn’t a detailed description of where the Fourth Kazekage’s body was hidden, so Hatake Satoru had to rely on the map and some scouting to find a likely spot.

Then he used the crows to search the area for any nearby bodies.

He had three reference points and gave himself about a month to look, so he wasn’t in too much of a hurry.

This trip to Sunagakure was just to get the crows out there early. He’d check back in next time.

Naruto was already waiting excitedly on the small bridge outside the hot springs. The river running through this place was naturally heated to sixty degrees Celsius.

The hot springs were divided into men’s and women’s baths, and the area around them was built using tightly arranged wooden slats.

"Why isn’t Satoru-nii here yet? Is being late a family trait for him and Kakashi-sensei...?"

Naruto leaned over the bridge railing, swinging his head side to side as he looked around impatiently.

"I’m just a few minutes late and now I’m grouped with Kakashi?"

Hatake Satoru crouched behind Naruto on the bridge with a playful grin on his face.

"Ah, no way~ Hehe, I was just joking,"

Naruto squinted his eyes and scratched his head like a clumsy orange cat, letting out a sheepish laugh at Hatake Satoru.

"Hey, hey, who’s gonna be my teacher this time?"

"You’re the only one here, aren’t you?"

Naruto bounced over and stood in front of Hatake Satoru, curiously leaning to the side to peek around.

Hatake Satoru jumped down from the bridge and made a "shhh" gesture to Naruto.

Naruto nodded obediently and zipped his lips shut with his fingers.

Then Hatake Satoru placed both hands on Naruto’s shoulders and pushed him toward the entrance of the women’s bath.

Naruto tilted his head in confusion. He still didn’t really understand what was so special about women.

Being pushed like that, he just looked puzzled, like he had a bunch of question marks over his head.

"Hmm...!"

After Hatake Satoru pushed him around the corner, Naruto clearly saw a man with wild white hair sitting with his back to them, right in front of the wooden fence of the women’s bath.

There were small gaps between the wooden slats, and if you got close, you could peek inside.

This guy’s totally peeping! What a huge perv!

Naruto almost shouted, but Hatake Satoru quickly covered his mouth and dragged him back around the corner.

"Him! He’s peeping! Satoru-nii, don’t tell me *that’s* the teacher you found for me?!"

Back behind the wall, Naruto swallowed nervously and stood on tiptoe to whisper to Hatake Satoru.

Big eyes, big confusion.

"Well, yeah, he’s peeping, but he’s really strong~"

"If you wanna see for yourself, I can go out and act as bait."

Naruto opened his mouth like he was about to say something, but stopped. He just couldn’t connect this huge perv with someone who might be powerful.

Hatake Satoru paused for a second, then gave Naruto a playful, sneaky smile.

"Besides, he doesn’t just teach anyone. If you’re not good enough, he won’t train you."

"Then you’ll have to stick with the teacher Kakashi picked for you."

Hatake Satoru noticed Naruto’s face twitch with dissatisfaction, and then Naruto jumped up.

"What?! I *am* good enough! But Satoru-nii, you gotta show me how strong he really is first!"

Kids are so easy to stir up. Everything’s going according to plan.

Hatake Satoru tilted his head a little and shrugged at Naruto.

"Alright~ But if you do see what he can do, you better behave and let him teach you, okay?"

Naruto crossed his arms and looked annoyed, but honestly, it wasn’t surprising he had a strong dislike for pervs.

After all, people who get knocked out cold by Naruto’s Sexy Jutsu are not exactly impressive in his eyes.

Naruto paused and thought for a second—come to think of it, he’d never used his Sexy Jutsu on Satoru-nii. He wondered how he’d react.

Before Naruto could finish thinking about it, Hatake Satoru stepped out loudly onto the wooden floor, making sure his footsteps echoed, and took a deep breath from his belly.

Naruto peeked out from the corner, curiously watching Hatake Satoru walk out.

Jiraiya had already heard the footsteps behind him, and then came Hatake Satoru’s voice—way too loud on purpose.

"Whoa! Someone’s peeping here..."

"Jeez, don’t be so loud. What if someone hears us?"

Jiraiya spun around, and in that moment, a huge deep-orange toad appeared under him.

The toad’s pink tongue shot out instantly, heading straight for Hatake Satoru.

Hatake Satoru quickly dodged and appeared right in front of Naruto, who was still standing frozen at the corner.

Naruto was staring wide-eyed at the giant toad that had suddenly popped out with a *bang!*

He turned his head, a little overwhelmed, and looked at Hatake Satoru floating in the air beside him.

Hatake Satoru gave him a big thumbs-up and flashed a dazzling smile—and then vanished midair.

Naruto looked around, now only seeing the man sitting on top of the giant toad, and no sign of Hatake Satoru.

Whoa—both of them look super strong!?
