CHAPTER 185: CHAPTER 185: ACTUALLY, SHE’S THE ONE WHO LEFT YOU

Julian Lawson once again visited William Wyatt, Serena Sterling’s former stepfather.

The two sat on opposite sides of the glass, looking at each other, and then William was the first to pick up the phone.

Julian lowered his eyes slightly and also reached for the phone.

"Why are you here again?" William asked, "So, did you get a divorce? Was it her who refused?"

Julian remained calm and replied, "Yes, we did."

"I still remember the scene where you knelt before me for her, and I stepped on your head, lecturing you like a dog."

"I thought you two loved each other to death."

William burst out laughing, saying, "Looks like it’s not all that after all."

Julian still didn’t say anything.

And William seemed to remember something, glared at Julian, and said maliciously, "Back then, it was just you playing tricks; otherwise, she would have been ruined by me!"

Then he thought of something else and mocked again, "Do you regret saving her then? Wouldn’t it have been better to let me beat her to death? Now also..."

He knew today was Seraphina’s surgery day, but he also knew she wouldn’t let him see Seraphina.

But Julian didn’t answer him.

Serena was anxiously waiting, with Bianca Lynch who had just gotten off work by her side.

After an unknown period, the operating room door opened, and Seraphina was pushed out.

Serena rushed forward immediately.

He didn’t go in to disturb them but turned away.

Seraphina nodded and said, "Mimi is so understanding!"
