Playtime's Over, CEO: She's Really Done With You
Chapter 251: Where Did He Touch You?
CHAPTER 251: CHAPTER 251: WHERE DID HE TOUCH YOU?
Julian Lawson said, looking at Serena Sterling with heartache.
"And the messages Vera Hansen sent you earlier, I know about them. Nora, I know you didn’t lie to me. It’s my fault. I doubted you and made you feel bad."
Serena tightly pursed her lips, suppressing her emotions, waiting for him to speak.
"Many things have happened during these days." Julian began.
"I hurt you." He uttered, word by word.
"Vera Hansen is not kind either."
"I’ve learned many things."
"And me and Vera..."
He looked even more pained.
"I don’t truly like her. It’s an agreement between us to accompany her for six months, to repay what I owe her."
Hearing this, Serena couldn’t help but laugh.
Tears streamed down from the corners of her eyes.
"I don’t understand what you owe her," she said, "that requires you to repay her this way."
"And once..."
Serena’s brows furrowed slightly, emotions surging.
She took a deep breath, controlled her emotions, and continued, "Once, when we were good, you could have told me. We could have discussed how to resolve it together."
She wasn’t unreasonable.
If Vera Hansen had truly done them a great favor, she would repay it.
But Julian’s eyes were full of sorrow.
"It’s useless," he said, "The only thing she wants is that."
Serena felt there was nothing left to say.
"Since you’ve made your decision, then be happy with her."
"I don’t want to be with her," Julian said, "I just want to get through these six months with her, but..."
"But what?" Serena stared at Julian, tauntingly smiling, "But I’m not obediently waiting for you according to your plan?"
Julian’s lips were tightly pursed; in the bedroom’s light, he looked very haggard.
But Serena laughed.
Laughing, tears continued to fall.
The past situations.
Things lost.
None of these will return.
She had given him many chances, a long time.
He was the one who let her down.
Again and again.
But now he said such things.
As if, in this relationship, she was the one in the wrong.
Julian reached out to wipe the tears from her eyes, but she turned her face away, not wanting him to touch her.
"Julian Lawson," she looked at the bedside table, "We’ve long since become irretrievable."
She struggled to get up, "Let me go. I still need to pick up Seraphina."
But he pressed her down once more.
"No letting go," he stubbornly said.
If he let go, she would go to be with Silas Hawthorne.
Living under the same roof, lying on the same bed, doing... the intimate things she once did with him.
He couldn’t accept it!
"Julian!" Serena’s emotions exploded.
But Julian still pressed her firmly.
Then, he reached into the safety box at the side and took something out.
"This Tanzanite, I didn’t give it to Vera," Julian said mournfully, opening his hand.
"Nora, can we reconcile?"
"This Tanzanite can be made into jewelry for Seraphina, or kept as a future birthstone for our child."
"I will strive; we’ll have a child." Julian spoke word by word.
The blue Tanzanite shimmered in the light.
But it pierced Serena’s heart.
"I won’t have a child with you!" Tears kept flowing uncontrollably.
The hallway appeared before her once again, along with the large pool of blood in the dark corridor.
Her lost child.
The physical pain did not compare to her heartache.
She might, in the future, never be able to conceive again.
Maybe never again!
"Then who do you want to have a child with?" Julian angrily said, suppressing emotions finally breaking out.
Serena cried hysterically, pushing him hard, "With anyone, just not with you."
Julian was angrier, his rage mixed with other more complex emotions.
Love yet unfulfilled, hate, or something he couldn’t understand.
"You want to be with Silas," he said, his chest heaving violently with emotion.
"I saw it!"
He yelled loudly, "You live together!"
"You cohabited!"
Serena was provoked by Julian’s roar, unable to control her emotions.
She replied loudly, "With whom I live together has nothing to do with you!"
"How does it have nothing to do with me!" He pressed her shoulders forcibly, pinned her hard to the bed, "I’m your husband!"
"You’re not!" Serena disregarded everything, speaking loudly, "We are already divorced! We have long since had no connection!"
"So you cohabit with him?" Julian shouted in anger.
"Did you sleep together?"
"You..." His voice paused for a moment, then he seemed to squeeze out the words with all his strength from clenched teeth—
"Did you... do it with him?"
Serena was in great pain from Julian, trying hard to struggle, but his strength was huge in his outrage; she couldn’t move at all.
"Answer me!" Julian roared vehemently.
"This is between me and him!" Serena shouted, "Julian Lawson, we’re divorced. Whether I and he, or any other person, have relations, they are none of your business!"
Waiting for Serena was a roar - "You admitted it?!"
Before Serena could say anything, Julian had already raised his fist.
Serena instinctively closed her eyes.
But the expected pain did not fall on her.
She opened her eyes, seeing him punch the wall beside her.
Drip, drip.
Tears flowed from his eyes, constantly falling onto her.
"Did you think I would hit you?" He said sadly, "Nora, how could I possibly hit you."
His hands tightly clasped on her shoulders were pressed with deadly force.
Serena didn’t know what to say. She was really scared, tears continuing to flow.
And Julian Lawson in front of her seemed on the verge of collapse.
Might do something extreme at any time.
Serena wanted to say something.
But as soon as she opened her lips, he bent down and kissed her lips.
"Mmm..."
Serena struggled to push him away, fighting hard, but it was useless.
He pressed her, forcibly kissed her, swallowing all her sounds.
Serena turned resolute in her heart, bit his lip hard.
But he just paused, still didn’t let her go.
Serena used more force, tasting the metallic taste of blood, she had broken his skin, but he still wouldn’t let her go.
What did he want to do?
Why like this?
Serena’s heart almost burst.
But she had no way out, pushing with hands, kicking with feet, all to no avail.
Not knowing how long it took, Julian finally released her lips.
He rose slightly, and Serena saw the bleeding corner of his lip.
"Julian Lawson, you bastard!" Serena couldn’t bear it any longer, she shouted.
But he just smiled mournfully.
She wanted to get up, but he lifted her roughly up, waving his hand, forcing her hands over her head.
"Where did he touch you?" He questioned, eyes red.
