CHAPTER 90: DIVINE REVELATIONS

Pip’s hips roll like clockwork against the seedmother, metal thighs gleaming with a soft golden sheen. She moans and gasps, her body pressed up against the broad trunk of an ancient tree, vines wrapping around her wrists like eager assistants.

Each thrust sends tremors through the earth. With every one, the forest shivers in delight.

Blossoms unfurl, streams gurgle happily, and the leaves above quiver as Pip, the ever-devoted divine construct, works his golden hips like a god-made metronome. The seedmother squeals softly, legs wrapped around Pip’s waist as her radiant body thrums with ancient pleasure.

"Divine," she whispers, breath hitching. "So divine..."

Pip beeps proudly, metal hands braced firmly against the trunk, moving with focused, rhythmic precision. The earth pulses beneath them. As she climaxes, vines burst from the ground, coiling lovingly around her limbs, a thousand tiny flowers blooming in a radiant spiral around her glowing body.

She slumps, spent and smiling, to the mossy earth.

Elsewhere in the seemingly endless garden, the rest of the team meander through the sprawling greenery, staring wide-eyed at towering trees that glow with emerald light and flowers that sing in faint whispers.

Zora drifts above them, mumbling notes aloud to his floating quill. "Chronomoss. Illusion orchids. Ooh... squeaky ferns! Oh my stars, this is heaven."

The witches trail reverently behind him, touching leaves like holy relics.

Vuvi and Veena walk side-by-side, boots crunching softly on a trail of moss. Veena’s expression is tight. Thoughtful.

"I’ve been such a brat," she murmurs. "All this time, blaming my mother. Hating her. I thought she ruined everything. But she didn’t choose the curse. She didn’t create it. She was just... there when it happened."

Vuvi walks beside her, sipping from her flask as she swats away a hummingbird-sized pollen fairy. "You’re not a fool," she says with surprising gentleness. "Just a girl with too much power and not enough answers. We’ve all been there."

Vuvi reaches into her coat pulling out her backup flaskthen hands it over. "Here."

Veena takes it, sips. Coughs. Sips again.

"I’m serious," Veena continues, voice cracking just a little. "I ran away from home, turned my back on her because I thought she broke the world. But she didn’t. She’s just a victim of it."

"You’re both victims," Vuvi says, gently.

Veena kicks at a clump of soft moss. "Still... I was cruel. I left her thinking I hated her."

"You probably needed to," Vuvi says. "To find your own truth. But hey, at least we’re closer now. To the truth, I mean. Not your mom. She’s terrifying."

Veena lets out a weak laugh, which quickly fades.

"And," Vuvi adds with a groan, "we’d probably know everything by now if your divine plant goddess didn’t sprint off with Pip mid-speech."

"She better spill everything once she’s done getting plowed," Vuvi mutters.

They both turn toward the thick wall of trees where Pip and the seedmother had disappeared some time ago.

"Hey, come on now! Don’t be sad!" Penelo bounces up to them with a grin. "You’re still beautiful and scary and smart, and besides..." She pokes Vuvi in the arm. "What did you mean earlier? About Pip not being from this world?"

The whole group halts.

Vuvi raises a brow but shrugs. "Figured that’d come up."

The rest of the team slowly gathers around.

Sera looking sleepy and tousled, Lula clutching a flower crown she made out of pure joy, and Zora floating overhead as usual, scribbling in his magical notebook.

Penelo plants her fists on her hips. "You cannot just drop a line like that and move on!"

Lula hops up beside her. "Yeah! Explain!"

Veena frowns. "What did you mean... not from this world?"

With the resignation of someone who knows her audience will not be denied, Vuvi sighs and rubs her temple.

"Fine. Fine. I’ll tell you."

The team circles around her. Even the witches pause to listen.

"Alright. So. Pip’s body? Built by me. Finest piece of work I’ve ever done." She pats her chest proudly. "He was supposed to be just another pleasure-bot. A really fancy, oiled-up, mechanically superior love-bot."

Zora claps enthusiastically from a nearby mushroom. "An engineering marvel!"

"Thanks," Vuvi mutters. "Anyway, my mom was gifted a divine crystal by the church, decades ago. They wanted her to use it to slay the Demon Queen. But after the curse hit, that mission was scrapped. The church forgot about her. She forgot about them. The crystal ended up in her storage vault."

She shrugs. "So, when I made Pip, I thought, hey, bonus power source! Shove it in the core. More juice for pelvic oscillation."

Penelo gasps. "You just shoved a divine crystal into a pleasure bot?!"

Zora scribbles furiously in his notebook.

Vuvi shrugs again. "It fit and thought it’d be fancy. Instead..."

"Instead?" Veena leans in.

Vuvi lowers her voice. "Instead, he came to life."

The group gasps. Zora drops his quill.

"You mean Pip’s soul—" Veena starts.

"Didn’t come from this world," Vuvi confirms. "It was already in the crystal. Somehow. A whole soul. Maybe even... a person. I didn’t make Pip himself. I made the shell."

Penelo clutches her cheeks. "So he’s alive?"

"He’s not just alive," Vuvi says. "He has a soul. A real soul. And based on what the Seedmother said... it came from another world... and only the Great Mother has that kinda power."

The group stares at her in stunned silence.

Veena places a hand over her chest. "That’s why he can love."

Vuvi nods. "Yep."

Penelo throws herself onto the grass dramatically. "Oh stars! Have I treated him well enough?! I fainted the first time I saw his pelvic port! That has to be rude!"

Sera scratches the back of her head. "I’ve... uh... I’ve only been thinking about how good he is in bed. What if he doesn’t even like us? What if we’re using him?"

The group murmurs in concern.

Lula, still sprawled in the grass, lifts a hand. "Hey, hey... enough of that."

They all turn to her.

"If Pip is a person, and he is," she says, "then he loves us. I know he does. He shows it with every beep, every gentle rub, every thoughtful oiling."

Zora nods fervently. "He’s the center of this team. The heart. The soul. The shiny golden pelvic engine of our found family."

They all swoon in unison.

Then...

A moan. High and melodic. The forest blooms in response.

Back in the garden glade, the Seedmother quivers through her final climax, body limp, eyes wide, lips parted in reverent bliss. She collapses backward onto a bed of moss as vines coil around her like a lover’s embrace, flowers blooming from the soil beneath her.

Pip beeps softly, crouching beside her, gently brushing her glowing hair away from her cheeks.

She lets out a breathy laugh, twirls her fingers, and a throne of woven branches and flowering vines rises from the earth behind her. She stumbles forward, falls into the throne, then throws her head back in gleeful laughter.

"That," she pants, "was transcendent."

Pip poses proudly, arms flexed, pelvic port dimming gently.

The Seedmother crooks a finger at him. "Come here, my golden delight."

He steps forward.

"You have the heart of a god," she whispers. "But it’s so empty. Let me give you a taste of true divine magic."

She leans in and kisses him, just between his optics.

Light erupts from her lips into his body.

Pip trembles as his limbs glow briefly, then his eyes spark with new color.

The Seedmother hums with delight. "Now go, sweet golden child. Spread joy and pollen alike."

She and Pip step from the glowing glade back into the main garden where the rest of the team turns as the foliage parts.

The Seedmother glides forward like a goddess in bloom, a satisfied grin on her lips. She approaches Vuvi and bows low.

"Thank you," she says solemnly. "For bringing Pip to me. I haven’t felt this alive in centuries."

Vuvi groans, arms crossed. "Glad I could bring you satisfaction, your leafy holiness. But we still have questions."

The seedmother flops into her throne of vines like a queen at the spa. "Ask away," she sighs. "I need at least fifteen minutes before I’m ready for round two anyway."

The team all groan. Pip beeps nervously.

Veena takes a long pull from the flask Vuvi offers her.

"You think things just got more complicated?" she asks.

Vuvi drinks deeply, then stares toward the throne of vines.

"I think we just stepped into a whole new world of weird," she says. "And we’ve only scratched the surface."
