The Sea Temple is divided into an outer vestibule and an inner one. The outer vestibule is accessible to anyone who can pass through the barrier and enter. However, to access the inner vestibule, a special item is required.

As they advanced deeper, the water channels began to narrow, and the number of Pokémon attacking them decreased.

Although there were many Pokémon in this place, the water channels were limited—nowhere near the immensity of the ocean. Nevertheless, the water was crystal clear and rich in energy, identical to that found in the island's underground rivers.

The Pokémon that lived there could survive without needing to feed, which explained how this place could sustain such a large number of water-type Pokémon.

Additionally, over time, the Pokémon levels gradually increased, although their combat experience and strategy left something to be desired. With Cain's guidance, the attacks from the Pokémon were handled mainly by his team.

Swampert and Politoed took care of most of them, while Florges neutralized threats with well-aimed attacks.

Finally, the group climbed a series of steps until they reached an upper platform, where the view was breathtaking. In the center of the platform, there was a small lake, surrounded by lush vegetation that had grown despite the passage of time.

What caught Cain's attention the most was the lake full of Clamperl. It was a surprising sight: a lake completely occupied by these Pokémon.

Cain, with excitement and surprise, thought about the possibilities. He had already considered the idea of establishing a Clamperl breeding center to obtain pearls, but what he was seeing now exceeded anything he had imagined.

This natural lake was the equivalent of a pearl mine. "This place is perfect for what I had in mind," Cain murmured, determined to seize the opportunity.

"Operation begins! Slowking, use Psychic on the lake. Florges, fire Energy Ball at will. Swampert and Politoed, get in the water and flush the Clamperl out." Cain gave the orders, and his team quickly moved into action.

Swampert dove into the water without hesitation, causing a huge commotion. Politoed, a bit more cautious, followed. Both began to create chaos in the lake, while Slowking used Psychic to catch the stronger Clamperl and pull them to the shore.

Florges, for her part, continuously launched Energy Ball attacks, which hit with precision the Clamperl trying to escape.

The lake was inhabited by a considerable number of Clamperl, some of which had notably high levels. However, after the initial chaos, a leader emerged among them: an old and powerful Clamperl who began to organize the others to repel the assault.

Swampert and Politoed struggled to contain the coordinated Clamperl, so Cain instructed Slowking to target the leader.

This Clamperl, at an impressive level 60, was the leader of the community. A Pokémon with exceptional abilities for its species, it had survived for decades—perhaps even a century. Cain observed its data through his system:

Once the leader was defeated, the remaining Clamperl became disorganized, making them easier to capture. Swampert and Politoed returned to the shore, exhausted but satisfied, while Cain evaluated the outcome of the operation.

They had defeated around five hundred Clamperl, of which one was elite level, five were quasi-elite level, and the rest were below quasi-elite.

The scale of the battle had been impressive, and the exhaustion of his team reflected it. Even so, Cain was satisfied.

This natural lake not only provided a valuable resource in the form of pearls, but also represented a unique opportunity for his research and future plans.

As he gazed into the calm waters of the lake after the battle, Cain reflected on the importance of this discovery. Although Clamperl were not formidable opponents in battle, their economic and strategic value was undeniable.

This place would become a key piece in his plans—a base for developing new strategies and resources. Cain's four Pokémon rested on the shore, tired but proud of their success.
