Pokemon: The Legacy of Dragons
Chapter 84: The Thief, The Dragon, and the Pit
Green turned her head away, unable to look Logan in the eye. His gaze frightened her—filled her with a raw, gnawing terror.
And worse than fear… it made her feel exposed, as though her entire past—every scar, every dark memory—lay naked before this man.
For a girl with a tragic past—who'd lost her parents, lost everything—she could face the threat of losing her body with a steeled resolve.
But having someone glimpse her heart, her memories… that would break her. That would bring her to her knees, truly defeated, unable to fight back ever again.
Deep inside, Green knew just how fragile her seemingly strong heart really was.
Logan seemed to snap out of that complicated trance, regaining his usual calm, indifferent mask.
A mocking smile curved his lips.
"…And now you're slandering me out of nowhere," he teased lightly. "Honestly, you're such a wicked little thing, you know that?"
His sudden return to flippant humor made Green exhale softly in relief—though the shamelessness of his false outrage left her speechless.
Gritting her teeth, she hissed, "…Aren't you the shameless one here? Doing that to an unconscious girl… and it was you who knocked me out in the first place!"
"No, no, you've got it wrong," Logan retorted solemnly. "It was Gabite who knocked you out. You should take it up with him."
Gabite stood by, wearing the most innocent expression imaginable.
"And besides—what exactly did I do? Did you see it? Without proof, you shouldn't just slander people. If you really feel violated, you're free to get examined at a hospital.
I guarantee your little 'membrane' is still intact."
Hearing him say that so seriously, Green's expression twisted between crying and laughing—then finally dropped, eyes wet again as she bowed her head.
Even Logan couldn't tell if her tears now were real or fake.
"When someone does something wrong, they get punished," he continued coolly. "That's basic. Lying and stealing? Those aren't right.
I'm just here to teach you a bit of truth about the world."
He stepped closer, dropped to one knee before her bewildered gaze, then raised a single finger to hover under her delicate nose.
"Smell that? That's your scent," Logan murmured, eyebrow raised. "Funny, isn't it? Turns out even when you're unconscious… your body still reacts. Rather indecent, don't you think?"
Green tried to hold her breath, but soon her face flushed bright red from lack of air.
Inevitably, she caught the humiliating, shameful scent on his fingertip—and her entire body burned with rage and embarrassment.
"Are you really just fifteen?!" she spat, blinking away tears.
What sort of upbringing could produce a man like this?
She cursed her rotten luck—of all the people to get caught by, it had to be him.
He was stronger than her, had proof of her crimes, and worse… seemed to delight in her shame.
It reminded her of certain manga scenarios she'd read, much to her regret.
"Who knows?" Logan replied lazily. "How old I am doesn't matter.
Back in Cerulean City, you had Wartortle prepare a Hydro Pump at my back.
If I hadn't reacted fast, I'd probably be lying in a hospital bed right now, waiting for doctors to stitch my ribs back together.
As a thief and a liar who then tries to silence witnesses?
I'd say I've earned the right to do anything to you."
His voice dropped into a chilling, mocking laugh.
Green forced an awkward, sheepish smile, her voice unsteady.
"…It was a misunderstanding, just a misunderstanding. I swear I never meant to kill anyone!"
"Oh, I know," Logan answered, voice low and dangerous.
"If you really meant to kill me, back in Cerulean you would've ordered Wartortle to blast me outright.
Then you'd be a corpse rotting underground, with no one the wiser.
See, Gabite's already dug the pit."
Green's gaze followed his pointing hand—and sure enough, not far away lay a fresh, deep pit.
Perfect for burying bodies.
Gabite flashed her a menacing grin, and the little Dratini curled around Logan's neck glared at her fiercely.
She swallowed.
Truly, like trainer, like Pokémon.
These two dragons… were born to terrify.
"I know I was wrong," she whispered hurriedly. "No matter how you want to punish me… I'll accept it, okay?"
Her wide, expressive eyes glistened as she gazed at Logan, voice trembling into something soft, almost like a lover's plea.
"Any punishment at all?" Logan asked, stroking his chin, a mocking glint in his eyes.
"Yes, really," Green replied, voice soaked in helpless resignation.
"I'm yours now anyway. I can't marry anyone else after this. And I can't even move… even if you want to do something, how could I stop you?"
Her words came out broken, heavy with bitterness. It tugged at the heart in a way she surely intended.
"Hmm… we are in the Cerulean outskirts," Logan mused. "Not many people come here, but it's not completely deserted.
What if… we blindfold you, set up a sign that says 'Free Use,' hide a few cameras nearby…
and see how many people cross that final moral line?"
Green's eyes widened in horror, staring at Logan as though he were an utter degenerate.
"Don't look at me like that," Logan huffed, feigning innocence. "I swear I'm not the pervert here.
It's something real perverts online actually do.
I'm just curious."
"N-No way!" Green shook her head violently, voice quivering into a plaintive murmur.
"…Am I really that unappealing to you?
I'm offering myself willingly… and you still want to let others touch me?"
Her voice cracked. Tears spilled again, real or not, even she might not know.
"You really don't want me at all?
If you just promise no one else will touch me, I'll do anything you want.
After all… after all, you already touched me there.
Don't you want to try… other places?"
Her voice broke at the end, thick with shame and fear.
Face flushed, she turned her head away, mortified by her own words—but that vulnerability, that trembling silhouette, only provoked a raw instinct.
Logan's eyes involuntarily drifted lower—to the impossible swell of her chest.
Green even forced herself to shake slightly, the motion only making her curves sway more boldly.
Seeing Logan's hand start to stretch forward—half hesitant, half drawn by desire—Green's face flushed a deeper red, her pale neck stained with rosy heat.
She lowered her head further, body quivering as if afraid, eyelids squeezed shut as though steeling herself for violation.
But unseen by Logan, the corners of her lips curled into a sly, dangerous smirk.
Yes… come closer.
Touch me greedily.
A woman's body is the perfect hiding place for secrets—
And a beautiful woman… is the deadliest weapon of all.
