Pregnant for the straight CEO
Chapter 75
CHAPTER 75: CHAPTER 75
~Hana~
The tattoo guy lifted a hand. "Lee Know. Friend of Fan Xiao. I lost a bet."
Fan Xiao didn’t say anything. Just sipped his water and stared at Anning like she was a bomb with ten seconds left.
Yu Jin snorted. "This table is giving ’group project where nobody did the work but everyone’s mad.’"
"Let’s just order," Park Min said, already waving the waiter over like he was born with authority in his blood.
We ordered. Mostly soju. A lot of soju.
Junho kept touching my hair. I let him. Every time he did, Woo Min’s eyes got darker. I wanted him to feel something. Anything.
Twenty minutes in, the table was loud. Yu Jin and Park Min arguing about something stupid, Anning texting under the table, Fan Xiao and Lee Know having their own quiet conversation in the corner like they were in a different postcode.
I leaned over and kissed Junho.
Not a peck. A full mouth-on-mouth, tongue-if-he-tried-it kiss. Right there in front of everyone.
The table went dead silent.
Then Woo Min stood up so fast his chair fell backward and slammed into the floor.
He grabbed my wrist and yanked me out of my seat so hard I almost tripped.
"What the fuck are you doing?" he hissed, dragging me toward the hallway by the bathrooms.
I yanked my arm back but followed because apparently I’m stupid. "What? I’m on a date."
"You paid that guy," he snapped. "We all know how petty you can get."
I laughed, high and ugly. "So what if I did? You ghosted me after you fucked me, Woo Min. I’m allowed to do whatever I want."
He stepped closer, voice low and shaking. "You wanna know why I ghosted you?"
"Yes," I said. "I actually do."
He looked at me for a long second. Then he said it.
"I only fucked you because you belonged to Park Min first."
My stomach dropped through the floor.
He didn’t even look sorry. Just tired. "I wanted to take something he had. That’s it. That’s the whole ugly truth. I didn’t feel shit for you, Hana. I felt shit for him."
I couldn’t breathe.
I slapped him.
Hard.
His head snapped to the side. When he looked back at me again, his cheek was red and his eyes were wet. Not crying. Just glassy.
I walked back to the table.
Everyone was staring.
Junho looked awkward as hell.
Yu Jin whistled low. "Damn. That was fast."
Park Min leaned back in his chair, legs kicked up on another one, looking way too pleased. "Anyone who’s still feeling petty can leave right now. Door’s that way."
Nobody moved.
Then Park Min smiled, slow and evil. "Perfect. Because we’re playing a game."
"Am I even needed here anymore? The tension in the air is to thick it could literally snap my throat. Let me go please please please please please ..... ..... ..." Junho kept whispering in my ear.
"You’re not going any fucking where. Unless you want your career ended and you want these noodles in the media then you can leave."
"You suck you know."
"Yes but I suck dicks better and you know that ."
"Fuckkk... ....." he exclaimed.
"Let your man go, if he wants to..." Anning whispered to me.
"It’s embarrassing." And in as much as she tried to whisper, everyone heard it.
I rolled my eyes and when mine met Junho’s he understood but I guess he wasn’t going to leave without a show.
"Yu Jin we’re really gonna act like we don’t know each other ."
Park min smirked, "ohhh really. You know what? Have a seat. Why don’t you both tell us about yourselves after the game."
What in the small world was this, I just hope they didn’t fuck too, I’ll not hold this in. Does this Yu Jin guy have to have a connection to every guy I know?.
Park min pulled out a stack of notecards and pens from God knows where.
"Everyone writes their worst secret about someone at this table. No names. We read them out loud. Anonymously. You chicken out, you drink an entire bottle of soju in one go."
Yu Jin groaned. "You absolute psycho."
"Write," Park Min said.
We wrote.
I wrote mine with shaking hands.
Park Min collected the cards, shuffled them, and started reading in his calm, bored voice like he was reading the weather.
First card.
"I hacked your phone because I was in love with you."
Anning went completely white.
Fan Xiao didn’t move, but his grip on his glass got so tight I thought it was going to break.
Second card.
"I only slept with her to see if I could feel something."
I didn’t have to look at Woo Min to know that was his.
Third card.
"I reported your company to the police."
Yu Jin’s face didn’t change, but his eyes flicked to Woo min for half a second.
Park min’s mouth fell open. "You motherfucker....."
Fourth card.
"I’ve been selling your tour outfits on Depop for two years."
Park Min actually laughed. Out loud. "Okay, that one’s funny."
Anning stood up so fast her chair screeched. "I’m leaving."
She didn’t make it two steps before Fan Xiao said, very quietly, "It was me."
The hacking one. He said it to the table, not just her.
Anning froze.
"You....what?"
Then Yu Jin stood up. "Okay! I’m out. This is too much unprocessed trauma for one table."
He headed for the door.
Park Min grabbed his wrist. "Sit."
Yu Jin sat.
Woo Min hadn’t moved since his secret got read. He was just staring at the table like it had personally betrayed him.
I stood up next. My legs were shaking.
"I need air."
I walked out.
Nobody stopped me.
But when I got to the door, I heard Anning’s voice crack.
"Who reported his dad?"
Nobody answered.
Then Woo Min’s voice, rough and low: "I think we all know who."
I didn’t hear the rest.
I was already outside, lighting a cigarette with shaking fingers, wondering how the hell everything got this fucked this fast.
And back inside, someone was about to get accused.
Junho and Yu Jin had a story for us.
