CHAPTER 76: CHAPTER 76

~Hana~

I was really not in the mood for any drama at that time. All I really needed was someone to fuck the pain out of me. But life being life will never give me such. So I just did what any normal human will do while expecting a normal turn out. ... .... ... .... .... ..

I stubbed the cigarette out on the wall, took one breath that tasted like ash and regret, and walked back in because apparently I hate myself.

The second I pushed the door open the noise hit me like a slap. Junho was already halfway out of his chair, hand pointed at Yu Jin like he was about to read him his last rites.

"You wanna do this now?" Junho laughed, but it was the ugly kind. "Fine. Let’s fucking do this. Everyone grab popcorn."

Yu Jin’s face went the colour of old milk. "Junho, shut up."

"No, no, baby, you shut up." Junho’s voice cracked on the last word and the whole table flinched. "You’ve been shutting me up for years , I’m done."

Yu jim’s eyebrows shot up so fast I thought they were gonna fly off his face. "Years of what exactly? Are you also being paid to act in your private life? Eyes wide J this is no ad or commercial."

"Don’t," I hissed, grabbing Junho’s sleeve. "Please."

Junho yanked his arm away so hard I almost fell forward. "Don’t touch me. Don’t stop me from saying who this man really is. Yes I had issues with you, but was it okay for you to cut off all communication from me, you don’t get to do that and treat me like a side dish."

Park Min went very still. The kind of still that happens right before someone throws a punch or starts crying. "Side dish?"

"Hyung...." Yu Jin started.

"Don’t hyung me." Park Min’s voice was quiet, dangerous. "Did you fuck him?"

Yu Jin opened his mouth. Closed it. Opened it again. Nothing came out.

Junho barked a laugh. "Did he fuck me? Bro, he begged me to fuck him. On his knees. In the back of my car. While you were not around, busy building your billion dollar company. He knew I was straight."

I swear the air left the room.

Woo Min let out a low whistle. "Jesus Christ, this table is cursed. And you Junho, shut the hell up will you? I’m so sick of Yu Jin interacting with all sorts of weird humans, first you who was straight and Park min. Can I get a rest with all this I’m straight I’m straight ... it’s getting fucking annoying."

Anning’s eyes were huge, flicking between the three of them like she was watching a car crash in slow motion. "Guys, maybe we...."

"No," Junho cut her off, eyes locked on Yu Jin. "Let him answer. Tell him, Jinnie. Tell your boyfriend how you cried my name so loud the windows fogged."

Park Min stood up slowly. His chair didn’t even make a noise this time. "You cried whose name?"

Yu Jin looked like he was about to throw up. "It wasn’t.... It didn’t mean.....hold up, I didn’t even know youuuu..... why are you pissed?"

"Doesn’t mean anything. He’s literally here saying how you begged him to fuck you and you literally ruined me days ago?" Park Min’s voice cracked...toward the end. Actually cracked. "We’ve been together for the longest time Yu Jin and never did you beg me to fuck you like that."

"I did!" Yu Jin’s voice broke too. "You just never paid attention like that...."

"You just needed dick on the side!" Junho supplied helpfully. "Don’t worry, he’s really good at the ’I want this relationship to be about me but not like that’ speech. He gave it to me like six times."

"Shut the hell up Junho, we never fucking dated and you’re the one who ghosted me. What are you looking at? " Yu Jin asked looking at Lee know.

"Park min never even asked you out bro." Woo min said with a resting annoyed face.

Woo min! Everyone screamed out.

"What?!"

Lee Know, who had been quiet this whole time, suddenly snorted so loud his soju came out his nose. "Wait wait wait. Fan Xiao, didn’t you also never actually ask me out? Like you just started acting like we were dating and I went with it because I’m spineless?"

Fan Xiao blinked. "I... We—... You said you were mine."

"I said that while drunk and you were inside me!" Lee Know shrieked. "That doesn’t count as a relationship application!"

Anning slapped both hands on the table. "Can we all stop confessing to being hurt and emotional terrorism for five goddamn seconds?"

"If you insist, pretty....," Woo Min said flatly, eyes on Anning. He hadn’t looked at me since I walked back in. "I think we’re just getting started." an he turned to make sure I was looking at smirked at me

I couldn’t take it anymore.

I walked straight up to him, pulled my hand back, and slapped him again. Harder this time. The sound was so loud the table next to us went quiet too.

Everyone shut up.

My palm stung. His cheek was already red from the first one, now it was purple.

Woo Min didn’t even flinch. Just stared at me, eyes wet, jaw tight.

"Don’t you ever," I said, voice shaking so bad I hated myself for it, "say it was nothing again. Don’t you dare."

He opened his mouth.

I didn’t let him.

"You wanted to hurt Park Min? Fine. Mission accomplished. But you used me. My body. My stupid fucking feelings. And then you threw me away like garbage because what, your little revenge boner for revenge was more important than basic human decency?"

Tears were rolling down my face now and I didn’t even care.

"You don’t even regret it," I whispered. "You don’t care."

He laughed, but it came out wet and broken. "I don’t regret it because you and I wanted it Hana, I never forced you.."

Fan Xiao looked like he’d been shot. "I thought you wanted that."

I don’t even know what Fan Xiao was responding too.

"I wanted you to ask me out like a normal person!" Lee Know yelled. "Not just slide into my DMs with ’come over’ and then hold my hand in your house like we’re boyfriends!"

"Lee know cut it out please !!! I came back to South Korea for you!! Are we really having this because some strangers."

"I’m carrying your baby goddamit. The least you could do is be kind what the fuck is wrong with you."

Anning stood up again. "Okay, everyone just breathe..."

"No," I said, voice raw. "Let it burn."

Woo Min was still looking at me. Only me.

"You hate me now," he said quietly.

"Yeah," I said. "I do."

"Good, you should."

He laughed again, bitter. "Because I hate me too."

Junho rolled his eyes so hard I thought they’d fall out. "Great. Everyone’s single now. Group hug?"

"Fuck off," Yu Jin and Park Min said at the same time.

Anning sat back down slowly, looking shell-shocked. "I just wanted samgyeopsal."

Lee Know raised his glass. "To never playing anonymous secret cards ever again."

Everyone drank. Even me. Even Woo Min.

The silence after was worse than the yelling.

Then Junho, because he’s Junho, leaned back and grinned like a demon. "So... who’s paying for all this soju? Because I was hired, not invited."

I groaned. "I hate all of you."

Woo Min looked at me, cheek swollen, eyes red. "Yeah," he said softly. "Join the club."

And that’s when the waiter walked up, took one look at the table, and turned right back around.

Smart man.

We sat there for another minute. Nobody moved. Nobody spoke.

Then Park Min laughed. Like actually laughed, head thrown back, tears streaming.

We all stared at him.

He wiped his eyes. "We’re so fucked up."

Yu Jin snorted. Then hiccuped. Then started laughing too.

Junho joined in. Then Lee Know. Then Anning. Then, God help me, even Fan Xiao cracked a smile.

We laughed until we cried harder than before.

Until the waiter came back with the bill and threatened to call the cops if we didn’t pay and leave.

Junho lit a cigarette, passed it to me without asking.

Lee Know and Fan Xiao were arguing in whispers about whether "u up" counts as asking someone out.

And Woo Min was standing three feet away, hands in his pockets, staring at the ground.

I took a drag, walked over, and shoved the cigarette between his lips.

He inhaled like a drowning man.

We didn’t say anything.

We just stood there, sharing smoke and silence and the kind of hate that somehow still felt like love.

Because that’s us.

Fucked up. Petty. Broken.

And still here.

But the issue came again when Anning started laughing out loud and heavily.

"Did I actually here someone say ’I’m pregnant for you?’ while looking at my man."

Hold up. We had actually been so distracted with the rambles and shambles I didn’t hear that part too.
