CHAPTER 51: SECOND STAGE (3)

Caden had a few reasons why he charged alone into the forest areas. The first was exp.

He needed to be the one who deals the finishing blows to this demonic variant humans in other to accumulate exp.

Exp can be converted into Leveling Points.

Thanks to the first stage which helped him take out five hundred higher-class variant humans.

He received 150 Leveling Points as a result.

[Leveling Point: 200/1000]

He would be able to reach Level 3 faster if he took out more and more demonic variant humans to accumulate his Leveling Points.

That was the first reason, the second reason was his draconic powers. He didn’t want them to see his draconic scales when summoned.

He needed it to be kept a secret from everyone.

Who knows what would happen to him if it was reported to the Supreme Council?

They would surely experiment on him regardless of the fact that he’s a successors of a supreme kingdom.

And the third reason was bringing them in would only slow him down. He had a way to snatch the ball without detection.

"Status" Caden summoned the transparent cyan panel.

[Would you like to activate S-Ranked Skill: Shadow Cloak?]

[Yes][No]

Without hesitation, Caden clicked the Yes Icon. Seconds ago, he could see hundreds of demonic variant humans charging towards him.

But the moment he activated his S-Ranked Skill: Shadow Cloak. They could not see him, neither could they sense him.

It’s more like he became a shadow.

Caden’s lips curled faintly "To think Shadow Cloak is this great" He tightened his grip on his graded weapon.

Sprinting forward, he launched another attack.

[You’ve slain a Stone Troll]

[You’ve slain a Two-Headed Troll]

[You’ve slain a One Horned Goblin]

[You’ve received 2exp]

[You’ve received 4exp]

[You’ve received 3exp]

This wasn’t an attack of one demonic variant species but many, and their numbers weren’t small.

If Caden was in the slightest weaker than he is. He would have already died.

If he hadn’t reached Level 2, against this many would have truly been an impossible thing to do.

A Troll grunted as it kept swinging it’s club in the air. Seeing it’s kin die one after the other, it knew something was up.

Not caring about who it strucked. It kept attacking without care, it’s full brunt attacks shattered trees.

[B-Ranked Skill: Draconic Scales is active]

At first, it was an experiment to see if he could use two skills at once and it was a successful one.

Drawing out his mutated cells, he raised his arm, blocking the troll’s full attacks without moving back.

’It sure is a weaker than a Boss Monster’ Caden thought. He was swift, appearing behind the Troll.

With a swing of his graded weapon, the Troll fell.

Caden softly exhaled "This is quite fun" He spat on the ground, taking a step forward....he could see hordes of variant humans charging towards him.

"To think this was only something I could do when I became the King of Morningstar, I was really weak then"

The first graded mark flickered and Caden could feel it. He was drawing power from his graded weapon.

House Ryder’s Battle Sword Technique-1st Form.

First Stage Splitting Sky!

Caden charged forward, he leapt high. Firmly gripping onto his graded weapon when he swung it down.

Activating his House Ryder’s Battle Sword Technique.

He cut through half of the charging horde, bodies littered the scene, the stench of variant bloods reeked the air.

Caden landed on the ground, he covered the distance between himself and a charging Troll.

His eyes gleamed, he slitted the variant human’s throat. Causing it to stagger back in shock.

But Caden wasted no time as he attacked again. This time, his attacked cut through the Troll.

Avoiding the Mana Core since it was useful.

Never resting even for a second, he sprinted forward once again and bodies dropped left and right.

Front and back, Caden didn’t discriminate as everyone felt the wrath of his 4th graded weapon.

The trap that was set before was non-existent as Caden wiped out every single one of them.

Caden breathed in deeply, slowly sheathing back his blade. He glanced at the bloody scene.

"I’ll leave this Mana Cores for the Valor Royal Academy. When the expedition session begins"

"I’ll claim the Mana Cores belonging to the demonic variant humans I’ve slained. And increase my Mana Aptitude further"

"I’ve thirty days to uncover the mysteries behind the Red spies hidden in the Valor Royal Academy" Caden muttered.

He walked through the heaps of corpses piled together, his eyebrows furrowed "If the Primordial System could give me such a mission"

He clenched his fist "It seems something terrible is really happening in this academy"

Using his S-Ranked Skill: Shadow Cloak. Caden was nowhere to be seen again, he was gone.

Sprinting towards the ball.

Meanwhile.....

Caden’s group hurried, arriving at the scene to see hundreds of bodies scattered across the scene.

Every single corpse belonged to the demonic variant humans, they were slaughtered with their Mana Cores intact.

They knew the person responsible for this slaughter. Prince Hetu couldn’t help but smile "I guess we’ll only be slowing him down"

"To think he took every single of them out within a short amount of time"

Juden clenched his fist tightly, after his altercation with Caden Ryder. He was starting to hate Caden.

To him, Caden Ryder was simply lucky to be born into Morningstar and it was Morningstar that made him what he was.

He believed Caden to be a spoilt brat and without a supreme kingdom’s support. He wouldn’t be this great.

While others reverend Caden’s quick actions and accomplishments.

But amongst them, Sumeri wasn’t too focused on what they were saying because her mind were on something else.

Sumeri raised her head, her eyes fixed on a certain direction. It’s been a few minutes since she’s been like this.

Prince Viktor quickly approached his sister, "What’s wrong Sumeri?" Prince Viktor asked.

Sumeri breathed in deeply as she slightly tilted her head, sweats trickle down her face as she stared into the eyes of her brother "Its my dream, this was exactly what I saw in my dream" She explained.

"Uhmm, is there a problem with that?" Prince Viktor asked. He knew what his sister was.

She was some type of Oracle after awakening her Mana Core and becoming a Mage.

It was kept secret from the world. She was something known as a Dreamer.

Sumeri shook her head "You don’t understand Brother Viktor, this is a bad omen"

"If this is what I saw in my dream, then prince Caden..."

"He’s going to kill them all, everyone who will challenge him for the ball"
